Chapter 52 Internal Force is Flowing Gold

"Buy internal energy with money?" Upon hearing Bai Ye's description of the future, Kingpin's breathing quickened, sensing that there was potential.

Through Bai Ye's description, he then discovered the greatest value of the Zixia Divine Skill: the more people practiced it, the more its internal energy could circulate around the world like money.

Assuming there is no upper limit to the storage of internal energy, and all 6 billion people in the world practice the Zixia Divine Skill, they can generate an average of 16 million years' worth of internal energy every day. Moreover, due to the nature of energy transfer, internal energy can be traded freely like money.

If each transaction results in a 20% loss, it will only ensure that internal energy decreases with use, thus maintaining its scarcity by taxing each transfer of power equally.

Furthermore, since no one can live forever, but there are always people who pursue longevity. As long as one's internal energy is abundant, one can be free from all diseases and prolong one's life. For humans, internal energy is almost like gold, a form of hard currency.

Given the high demand and scarcity, the internal strength painstakingly cultivated will not depreciate over time, making it a hundred times more profitable than selling oil.

Kingpin even foresaw that, with the portability and scarcity of internal energy, those clandestine gang transactions could be conducted directly on-site using internal energy, allowing them to bring back massive amounts of internal energy and exchange them for cash without anyone noticing.

Looking at the overwhelming wealth on his phone, Kingpin began to worry about whether he could handle it. After all, this was a secret manual that anyone could practice, whether they were mutants or vampires.

"Hey, are you scared?" Bai Ye saw Kingpin's hesitation and mocked him.

"Yes, a little bit, but with such a great opportunity right in front of us, if I back down without taking a bite, I won't be able to sleep for the rest of my life."

Kingpin shook his head, his eyes hardening again, and said, "I no longer care about the mere mayor of New York City. With this manual, the mayoralty is practically in my pocket."

Bai Ye said with satisfaction, "Very good, then we can try selling courses."

Kingpin asked in confusion, "Buy a course?"

"Of course, the Zixia Divine Skill I showed you is the standard version. I actually have a weakened version and an upgraded version as well," Bai Ye said.

"What's the difference between these three versions?" Kingpin asked.

Bai Ye explained, "Of course there is a difference. In the weakened version, the meridians through which the internal energy flows are reduced, and the internal energy cultivated is less than half as pure and powerful as the original version. However, in the upgraded version, one can directly and forcibly absorb the Purple Cloud True Qi from another person's body through physical contact."

During Baiye's practice period, the total training time for the Zixia Divine Skill did not exceed 100 hours.

However, with his spirit that is dozens of times stronger than that of ordinary people, and by constantly destroying his meridians with his internal energy, he was able to make some simple modifications to the Zixia Divine Skill.

The weakened version goes without saying, and the upgraded version looks similar to the descriptions of the Northern Darkness Divine Art and the Star Absorbing Technique, but it is actually much weaker in terms of universality and does not have the function of converting true qi.

In other words, the upgraded version of Zixia Divine Skill can only absorb the same source of internal energy as Zixia Divine Skill. If it absorbs other internal energy, it will cause the different types of internal energy to be unable to be converted and accumulate in the body, which is similar to the result of Linghu Chong in The Smiling, Proud Wanderer.

Fortunately, in this world, the only martial arts manual in Jin Yong's style is the one he has. Unless someone comes up with something new, he can absorb it however he wants.

As for changing your cultivation method? It's possible but not recommended, because as more and more people learn the Zixia Divine Skill, the cost of switching to other cultivation methods will become increasingly higher.

With the Purple Cloud Divine Skill, one can buy true qi from someone else's dantian as long as they have money, while cultivating other modified versions of true qi requires practicing bit by bit, making it less efficient.

"Forcibly absorbing the Purple Cloud True Qi from someone else's body?" Upon hearing Bai Ye's words, Kingpin gasped in shock, staring at Bai Ye in astonishment. The upgraded version actually had such a heaven-defying effect.

Bai Ye smiled and said, "The weakened version will be published as my autobiography, while the regular version will be sold through pre-orders."

"But the books are not very secure, so even if we start a pre-sale, the profits won't be very good," Kingpin said.

"Money doesn't matter to me; I have no interest in money."

"As long as we sell books, a wave of qigong fever will definitely sweep the world. Once we establish the reputation of the founder of qigong, won't all the money just keep flowing in?" Bai Ye laughed.

Hearing Bai Ye's grand promises, Kingpin's breathing became increasingly rapid. He felt that coming to see Bai Ye today might be the best decision he had ever made in his life.

"Okay, I'll fully cooperate with you. When do you plan to publish this manual? I'll start by generating buzz through various media outlets," Kingpin said.

"Let's do it a month from now. You can handle all the publicity and stuff; I'm too lazy to get involved," Bai Ye said.

"Mr. Bai trusts me that much?" Kingpin asked.

"Trust you? No, I only trust my own fists."

Bai Ye gently clenched his fist and said, "Tomorrow morning I need you to immediately send me a team of experts to serve me."

Kingpin nodded and asked, "What kind of expert team do you need?"

"The main focus is on the mechanical and electrical teams that can modify and debug large machinery. I will request them again if needed in the future, and you must provide me with whatever equipment I require."

"No problem, it's just a few application-oriented talents. I have several under my command, and I'll assign them to you tomorrow," Kingpin said generously. Compared to the value Bai Ye could bring him, these were insignificant.

If Bai Ye were to ask him to test his sincerity again now, he might even give him half of his fortune after some hesitation.

"But what do you need these talents for?" Kingpin asked.

"Practice your muscles," Bai Ye said slowly.

"Training?" Kingpin asked, looking surprised.

Only Bai Ye himself knew that in just over half a month since he acquired the panel, his strength had increased hundreds of times.

At this rate of increase, in the month leading up to the release of the Zixia Divine Skill, he should be able to increase his physical strength by another 20 times, easily reaching the level of 400 tons.

Then, the time it took for the book to generate public opinion and attract attention from all sides should have been enough for him to increase his strength and have room for direct negotiations with the human government.

Feeling the slight coolness of the evening breeze in the convertible, Bai Ye calmly turned his head and said, "Kingpin, take me back."

"Send it back? Mr. Bai isn't coming to my place for dinner anymore?" Kingpin asked hurriedly, thinking that Bai Ye had refused to cooperate with him again for some reason.

"No need, we've already finished discussing what needed to be done in the car. I have a lot to do tonight, and I'm tired. Just take me to the Mainz Club."

"Is that so? Then let's take Mr. Bai home first," Jin instructed the driver, adding as he spoke:

"Everything you need will be delivered to the playground near your house tomorrow morning. I will buy that playground for you to exercise on."

"Okay, thank you for your help," Bai Ye said casually.
