Chapter 48. Cry! Everyone, cry!

The atmosphere in the abandoned classroom had frozen solid.

The surroundings were so quiet you could hear a pin drop; the only jarring sound was Raphael's heavy breathing.

Lynn didn't seem angry. He gently ran his fingers along the shaft of the wand, staring expressionlessly at Raphael's bloodshot eyes.

"So, these are all your true thoughts, senior?"

Raphael didn't know why he had suddenly blurted out all his innermost thoughts.

But since things have come to this, he naturally won't back down when facing Lynn's questions.

"Yes, that's right. You didn't actually think I was being polite to you before because I admired you, did you? Heh, don't dream about it. Does someone like you deserve that?"

"Raphael, what's wrong with you? Stop talking..." His roommate felt that Raphael was acting very strangely today, so he grabbed his arm and tried to pull him away.

Lynn nodded silently, as if he had no objection to Raphael, as if he wanted to weakly accept everything.

Raphael gave him a mocking look, and without resisting, he was about to be dragged away by his roommates.

Raphael lost the ability to speak, but Lynn gave him no chance to resist, quickly stepping forward and kicking the wand out of his hand.

He grabbed Raphael by the collar with one hand and shoved him to the ground, while his other hand clenched into a fist and punched Raphael in the face without hesitation!

"Do you know why I didn't petrify you? Because then you wouldn't be able to move, and even if I beat you up really badly, I wouldn't get excited if you couldn't struggle."

Lynn is a perfectionist. He felt that Raphael's face looked disproportionate with only half of it swollen, so while he was talking, he punched the other half of Raphael's face!

Raphael's legs were bound, and he could only use his upper body to exert force, but Lynn was surprisingly strong, and he could not resist even the slightest bit despite his desperate efforts.

"Yes, that's right, you have noble blood! So what? You want to hit me? Come on! Can you fight back now?"

Raphael's face was swollen like a pig's head from taking two punches from Lynn, and bright red blood was flowing from his nose and the corners of his mouth, making him look extremely miserable.

Lynn squinted at Raphael, who was groaning in pain.

"I may be of lowly blood in your eyes, I may be a vermin, but right now I'm a first-grader and you're a sixth-grader. You've studied magic for five years longer than me, yet I can only pin you to the ground and beat you up. Don't you feel frustrated? Don't you feel so frustrated that you want to cry?"

After saying that, Lynn raised his wand again, smiling as he declared that he had come up with a good idea.

"How about we play a game? From now on, I'll give you five seconds each time. I'll count down from five. If you don't cry within those five seconds, I'll randomly reward you with a dark spell. Just so you know, I've mastered about seventeen dark spells in total. That means if you can last two minutes, I'll consider it a failure and let you go. How about that? Isn't it a great game?"

Raphael gritted his teeth and glared fiercely at Lynn.

He didn't believe Lynn's words at all. A Mudblood who had only been in school for half a semester, no matter how talented he was, couldn't possibly have learned so many dark spells.

And even if he has the ability to learn, who can teach him?

Raphael took Lynn's words as a way to scare him, and even now he didn't think Lynn could do anything to him.

Raphael's resolve began to waver as he despairingly discovered that Lynn didn't seem to be lying to him.

Five seconds later.

"It has horns on its head."

A pair of curved ram horns sprouted from Raphael's head.

He dared not confront Lynn head-on any longer, and even his eyes revealed a pleading look.

Another five seconds

"Don't cry yet. I, Lynn, will call you the strongest, so I'll reward you with a shaving curse."

With another spell cast, Raphael's hair disappeared, leaving only two lonely horns on his gleaming head.

Raphael finally couldn't take it anymore. He broke down and sobbed uncontrollably, tears streaming from his eyes, mixed with snot and blood, making him look extremely pitiful.

Lynn clicked his tongue in amazement and shook his head.

"I thought you were a man, but I didn't expect you to cry so quickly. How boring."

He kept his promise, let Raphael go, stood up, and sincerely apologized to Raphael's two roommates.

"I'm sorry, I can't break the spell for you right now. I'm really sorry to have involved you two this time. I hope you can understand."

Raphael's two roommates didn't even have the courage to look Lynn in the eye; they were terrified by his earlier performance.

Lynn ignored Raphael, who was lying on the ground like a dead dog. His anger had subsided, and now he could go to the auditorium for dinner.
