But since the Human Emperor has chosen you, you must have extraordinary abilities. However, to become a pilgrim, you must be reincarnated as a human.

Only through trials and tribulations can you achieve enlightenment. At that time, immeasurable merit will be bestowed upon you, and you will awaken your past life memories. Are you willing?

A hint of excitement inevitably appeared on Sanzang's face. How could he not be excited when such a tremendous opportunity had fallen into his lap?

As for whether to agree or not? Only a fool would miss such a tremendous opportunity! Putting aside everything else, just the immeasurable merit bestowed upon him would surely lead to a rapid advancement in his cultivation.

"No matter what hardships I have to endure, I am willing to bear them!" Sanzang said firmly, barely managing to suppress his excitement.

"Very good. Make your preparations. In three days, I will arrange everything and personally send you to the Six Paths of Reincarnation!" said the Great Sun Tathagata.

The selection of the person to undertake the pilgrimage is still a subject of debate in Mahayana Buddhism today, with Vairocana Buddha merely holding the upper hand.
