Chapter 469 World Assimilation! The Flawed True Form of the Demon Whale! [Please Subscribe! Please Vote!]

The Demon Whale King was not a born soul beast; rather, he was gradually transformed into a soul beast by the laws of this world after entering it.

He wasn't the only one to be assimilated like this; on the Sun and Moon side, there was another soul beast who wasn't a soul beast.

As an acquired soul beast, the Demon Whale King's true form is even closer to a soul master's martial soul true form. He can be considered a soul master, but in terms of martial soul true form, he is a half-soul beast and half-soul master who is completely consistent with the Demon Whale's true form.

As for why the Douluo Realm possesses the power to assimilate other species into soul beasts, this is related to the formation of the Douluo Realm.

Moreover, creatures like the Demon Whale King were not the first to be assimilated. There were other creatures in this world that were assimilated even earlier, such as insects.

The insects in the Douluo Continent are very special. How so?

In the Douluo Continent, insects are divided into two vastly different categories. Ordinary insects cannot cultivate into soul beasts, while certain insects with specific bloodlines are born as soul beasts. This is quite different from the Douluo Continent, where any animal can cultivate into a soul beast and then have its soul rings destroyed by a soul master.

In other words, if you step on a nest of ants, a bunch of white spirit rings won't appear, but some ants are born spirit beasts.

This illustrates a point: the original soul beasts in the Douluo Realm must have been at least beasts; insects could only have been introduced from elsewhere. Whether it was from a planar war or a planetary war, insect soul beasts were all acquired soul beasts from outside, and their evolutionary time might have been longer than the existence of the five great god-kings of the God Realm. At least, that fusion was completed during the era of the rise of the Dragon God.

There are only two people in this world who can sense this kind of soul beast transformation.

One is the Deep Sea Demon Whale King, and the other is the Evil Eye Tyrant Ruler.

Both of them could clearly sense that if they said nothing, their offspring would instinctively believe that they were born as soul beasts.

There were no Deep-Sea Demon Whales in the world originally, but the Demon Whale King arrived, and thus the Deep-Sea Demon Whale race came into being. One might wonder how a single spirit beast could be called a race? The Demon Whale King was powerful enough to assimilate other whale-type spirit beasts, just as dragons assimilate other spirit beasts. Ultimately, the Demon Whale King's wife, a 500,000-year-old ferocious beast, the Demon Emperor, was born. (I still can't figure out how this guy reached level 100 in just 20,000 years? Thinking about it, let's say 700,000 levels to reach level 100. The Demon Emperor is currently 500,000 years old, so a tenfold cultivation speed is just right.)

Then came Lan Fuzi.

On the path of assimilation, the Demon Whale King was relatively detached from worldly desires. The Evil Eye Tyrant, who ruled over the Sun Moon Continent, forcibly created a group of eye-popping soul beasts in the Douluo Realm that were unlike anything that could evolve naturally.

Therefore, the Demon Whale King realized that Chen Hong wanted to condense his own Martial Soul True Body. So, hoping to prolong his life, the Demon Whale King chose to reveal his half-soul beast, the Demon Whale True Body. Only two soul beasts in this world can do this, and Chen Hong has now encountered one. How much he can glean from it, how many principles he can comprehend, depends entirely on his own destiny.

In the silent depths of the sea, Chen Hong's eyes gleamed with black lotuses. His entire body was stiff, like a piece of wood, as he slowly floated towards the surface, supported by his mental power. Simple buoyancy couldn't support him; without the support of his mental power, he would either sink to the bottom of the sea or remain suspended in the deep ocean.

A thousand kilometers away from the Black Whale Fleet, a dark shadow emerged from the water and floated on the surface, drifting with the current. It was a starry night, with countless stars twinkling in the sky and a vast galaxy.

Chen Hong lay on the sea, the black lotus in his eyes slowly fading. He stared blankly at the vast and boundless Milky Way for three days.

"That is... the imperfect true form of the Demon Whale, flawed in every way, and bound by the laws everywhere." The sea breeze stirred the seawater, and Chen Hong's body swayed with the seawater.

Even the Demon Whale King himself probably didn't know that his impromptu act of showing Chen Hong almost burned out Chen Hong's CPU.

Chen Hong has always used the Black Lotus Soul Eye in a limited way, only on a small scale. If he wants to see something, he will only use the Black Lotus Soul Eye to search for that thing. Therefore, the Black Lotus Soul Eye has always been known as the Black Lotus Search Engine by Chen Hong.

When Chen Hong first misused the Black Lotus Soul Eye to look directly at the sky, he almost blinded himself. He only recovered after returning to the Ice and Fire Yin-Yang Eye and consuming a large amount of Lesser Autumn Water Dew.

Later, Chen Hong got smarter. He added restrictions to the Black Lotus Soul Eye. For example, if he wanted to see fire elements, he could only see fire elements in the air. If he wanted to see a certain Soul Master, then only the energy fluctuations of that Soul Master would appear in his field of vision.

So when the Demon Whale King said he would show him something and let him watch and learn, Chen Hong subconsciously set the qualifier for the Black Lotus Soul Eye to "Demon Whale King". Setting it to anything else might not allow him to see the full picture, but only by setting it to Demon Whale King could he see the changes the Demon Whale King wanted to demonstrate.

Moreover, the Demon Whale King, who has reached the ten thousandth level of Qi Refining, is not a god after all, and his power cannot contain anything beyond Chen Hong's understanding and tolerance.

Then, the Yin-Yang Whale Pearl? Yin-Yang dual soul cores... Hmm, I can understand. Little Kiss... Hmm? Whose soul beast's true form is leaking electricity?!

If normal soul beasts and soul masters' perfect martial soul true bodies are both wrapped in soul power on the outside and the law lines are hidden inside, just like mecha, it is impossible to expose the lines on the outside, right?

But the Demon Whale King's true form is that damn electric mech that's crackling with sparks and lightning all over! The moment those crackling electric lights appeared in Chen Hong's Black Lotus Soul Eyes, his brain felt like a cheap computer in a computer mall playing Minecraft. Everything was fine until you suddenly unleash a TNT combo. His brain was stunned, then froze, stuttered, and crashed.

Chen Hong had seen Martial Soul True Forms and Soul Beast True Forms before, but this was the first time he had ever seen a flawed Soul Beast True Form!

"If my soul hadn't advanced to the Divine Soul Demon Whale King level, I'd probably be blinded by this attack." Floating on the sea, Chen Hong sighed inwardly. Thanks to his powerful soul and even more resilient spirit, he hadn't gone blind. However, there was one downside: all his spiritual energy was depleted, and his soul was exhausted. If it weren't for his psychic martial soul, which, along with his cultivation level, grew and advanced to the divine level, barely retaining some power to pull him to the surface, he probably would have suffocated in the long, oxygen-deprived environment. Not to mention dying from suffocation; Chen Hong's resilient physique, enhanced by Ye Lengleng, allowed him to survive for three to five days in an oxygen-deprived environment. During that time, he would have already awakened and used his soul power to propel himself out of the sea.
