Chapter 707 The Crimson Lord Suffers a Crushing Defeat!

As Chen Hong disappeared from the Abyss, the Abyss Planes began to dim rapidly, one by one, at a speed visible to the naked eye.

Since Chen Hong is now the Lord of the Abyss, his invasion of other abyssal planes has not affected the energy level changes of the abyssal plane group. Therefore, the Crimson Lord, who is currently engaged in a fierce battle with the Asura God King in the Crimson Abyss, is temporarily unable to notice the drastic changes taking place in other abyssal planes. The only beings capable of sensing this plane tremor are the plane lords of those abyssal planes.

However, at this very moment, within the Crimson Abyss, no demon god stood beside the Crimson Lord!

Faced with a top-tier god-king like the Asura God-King, only the Crimson Lord could barely survive against the Asura God-King by relying on the protection of the entire Abyss Plane! As for the other Abyss Demons who came to help the Crimson Lord, they were all blown into blood mist by the Asura God-King's several AOE divine skills, and were all dead beyond any doubt!

The encounters of these abyssal demons all confirm the saying: in battles between god-kings, ants below the god-king level should not meddle.

Currently within the Crimson Abyss, the Crimson Lord, empowered by the power of the Abyss, can barely be considered a pseudo-god-king. As for the Asura God-king, due to his battle outside the realm and the absence of the super artifact Asura Demon Sword, his strength as a top-tier god-king will be significantly weakened, but he is still not someone that the Crimson Lord, a pseudo-god-king, can rival!

Boom!

In the chaotic, crimson battlefield, the Asura God-King stood with his hands behind his back atop a sea of blood. Before him, countless dark abysses were riddled with holes, corroded by the chilling blood sea. *Clang!* A crisp sound rang out, and the Asura God-King produced a small blood-jade sword resembling the Asura Demon Sword. A faint golden divine rune slowly emerged from the smooth, mirror-like blade. Then, with a *bang*, the Asura God-King instantly slashed the blood-jade sword, and in a flash, the endless darkness before him was cleaved in two. A bloodcurdling roar erupted from the turbulent dark currents!

"Ah!!! Asura!!!" The Crimson Lord roared in the dark abyss, his voice filled with unbearable pain and misery!

At this very moment, in the entire Crimson Abyss, apart from the two God-Kings, more than half of the abyss creatures perished under the killing laws of the Asura God-King!

"Tsk, you're not bad off. With the world's protection, it would be really hard to kill you without a super artifact." After slicing through the black mist with a single sword strike, the blood jade sword in the Asura God King's hand began to shatter, turning into countless points of light of laws, which dissipated into the crimson plane.

The Asura God-King was certainly not Thanos, who could wipe out half the life in the Crimson Abyss with a snap of his fingers. He had merely intended to condense the Asura Laws inherent in the Crimson Abyss itself, to create the Asura Sword, and to kill the Crimson Lord through the laws of the Abyss.

Slaughter is a fundamental law. Although the Crimson Abyss exerts some pressure on the Asura God-King, he can also use the slaughter laws within the Crimson Abyss in return. There is no other reason than that he is a God-King.

Unfortunately, if the Crimson Lord were merely a Level One Demon God, the Asura God King could indeed use the Asura Laws of the Crimson Plane to kill him. However, the Crimson Lord is not a Level One Demon God, but a Pseudo-God King.

What is a false god-king?

In the words of the Asura God-King himself, he met the conditions for advancing to the God-King level, but he did not have the qualifications to do so.

"Advancing to God-King requires qualifications, but unfortunately, the Abyss has castrated the world, and the world's origin has flaws. For you, God-King is an unattainable illusion." The Asura God-King dismissed the Asura Magic Sword in his hand. That thing could only be used a few times and could not kill the Crimson Lord. The Asura God-King did not care about it.

If he had the supreme artifact, the Asura Demon Sword, in his hand, the Asura God King could kill this kind of pseudo-god king with his eyes closed.

but

"Alas, as a top-tier divine artifact, the Asura Demon Sword is excellent in every way, except that it cannot be taken out of the God Realm." The Asura God King looked at the Asura Magic Sword in his hand, which was now scattered with light, and couldn't help but sigh in his heart.

Contrary to Chen Hong's expectations, the reason why the Asura God King did not use the Asura Demon Sword was not because the Asura Demon Sword was sealing the God of Wisdom, but because the Asura God King was simply unable to take the Asura Demon Sword out of the God Realm universe.

The Asura Demon Sword carries too much power. If the Asura God King can take the Asura Demon Sword and leave the God Realm universe, it means that the God Realm's divine system is about to perish.

The transmission of divine power is incredibly diverse, but it mostly resides in the divine artifacts of the gods. For example, the trident of the sea god and the angel sword of the angel god both carry divine essence, that is, the power of divine status.

If the Asura God King can take the Asura Demon Sword out of the God Realm universe, then the God Realm will directly lose the power of the Asura God's position. The Asura God King will essentially ascend with the power that originally belonged to the God Realm.

This is why, when the Asura God-King passed on his Asura Godhood, he also passed on the Asura Demon Sword—because the Asura God-King wanted to go beyond the realms, and the Asura Demon Sword could not be taken with him. Conversely, the Kind God-King and the Evil God-King did not give super artifacts when choosing successors, because neither of them would leave the divine universe.

Without the Asura Demon Sword, it wouldn't be entirely impossible for the Asura God King to kill the Crimson Lord, the pseudo-god king, but it would require more effort.

"Asura!!! You have no grudge against me! Why are you slaughtering my people?! You call yourself the God-King of the Divine Realm!! In my eyes, you are the true Demon God of the Demon Realm!!"

Endless black mist instantly condensed, and under the protection of the power of the abyss, the Crimson Lord once again regained his form, standing in the void, looking angrily and fearfully at the Asura God King above the sea of blood.

"While the Abyss may not be committing evil now, that doesn't mean you won't do things to harm the divine realm in the future. So, blame your future self!"

"Don't think that just because I have the world's protection I can't kill you. I can wipe out all life in this world and condense the Soul-Slaying Blood Sword. Let's see if you can still withstand it!" Although he couldn't kill the Crimson Lord for the time being, the Asura God King wasn't in a hurry. Therefore, for him, in this kind of away battle, as long as more lives died in this world, even without the super artifact Asura Demon Sword, he could still use the blood of the life in this world to consecrate a temporary Asura Demon Sword!

"You've gone too far!!!" Faced with the Asura God King's domineering and unreasonable behavior, the Crimson Lord's expression turned ferocious. He glanced at the Fusion Demon Sword in his hand, a struggle flashing in his eyes. However, after hearing the Asura God King's 'declaration,' the Crimson Lord's gaze instantly hardened!

"You forced me to do this!!"

boom! ! !
