Naruto: The Infinite New World

Chapter 31 The Journey

Chapter 31 The Journey

An abandoned training ground.

Jin spotted two figures ahead and quickened his pace to walk towards them.

Under the shade of a tree.

Jiraiya and Minato Namikaze had been waiting for a long time.

"Jin, you're late this time."

Minato Namikaze beckons to Kim.

He was wearing the same white tracksuit with green trim that he never wore before.

The biggest change is in my demeanor; I've become much more composed than before, and it seems my abilities have improved considerably in these four months.

"Hey, Jin, long time no see."

Jiraiya also had a sunny smile on his face, and his clothes were not casual attire, but rather a gray suit of armor, with a headband on his forehead.

They look like soldiers going to battle.

Just looking at their similar smiles.

"I thought it was just a rumor that people would influence each other if they had prolonged contact with each other."

Jin looked at the two of them with a regretful expression.

"I never thought that a fool's smile could be contagious."

Jiraiya's smile froze; he didn't know whether to smile or not.

Who showed that foolish smile?

That's clearly a handsome guy's smile!

Kid, watch out, Jiraiya might sue you for defamation!

Jiraiya roared inwardly.

"King, Jiraiya-sensei's smile isn't that of a fool; it's the smile of a hero."

Minato Namikaze gave him a thumbs up, and Kim seemed to see the same feeling Might Guy in him.

That's just adding fuel to the fire.

"Show me some respect first!"

Jiraiya punched Minato Namikaze on the head.

"bump!"

Minato Namikaze's head quickly developed bumps. Rubbing the bumps, he looked at Jiraiya with a puzzled expression.

"I have great respect for Jiraiya-sensei."

Why should I get beaten?

Minato Namikaze's blank expression made Jiraiya sigh. This student may be a natural airhead, but if you cut him open, he's definitely a dark person inside.

Turning to look at Jin, who was all smiles, like a fox who had stolen a chicken, he was furious.

"You're the culprit!"

Jiraiya appeared beside Ging in an instant, raised his fist and hovered above Ging's head, not bringing it down for a long time.

He thought of the promises made by certain people in the past.

Jin smiled so hard his teeth were showing, as if he was expecting something.

He angrily withdrew his hand, genuinely afraid that Jin had hidden a poison needle in his head.

I still vividly remember what Jin said last time.

This was someone who was going to put poison needles in his head, so he was still a little scared.

Jin had been training with Orochimaru for four months. Although Orochimaru wasn't a powerful poison master, he was still an expert.

They were among the top producers of poisons in the village.

It's quite easy for the church to prepare poison or something similar.

"Are you scared now!"

Seeing that Jiraiya hadn't landed yet, Jin brazenly mocked him.

"Who's afraid!"

Jiraiya unleashed a powerful punch aimed at Gin's head, but instead of hitting the target, he struck nothing but air; the person beneath his fist had vanished.

Turning around, he saw that Kim was facing away from him, so he turned around and gave him a peace sign.

It's so frustrating, who's messing with him?

However, Jiraiya was quite surprised by the opponent's speed.

"That's fast."

He didn't even see when Jin moved; it was practically like a space-time ninjutsu.

In response to Jiraiya's praise, Gin tilted his head and said indifferently.

"Six Styles - Shave - Instant Step".

The upgraded version of Shave, he didn't waste those four months, all his skills have leveled up, he's not comparable to before.

Since the restrictions on his cheat ability were lifted, his strength has begun to improve by leaps and bounds.

So his weakness is all his fault because of his cheat-like abilities.

"Don't get too cocky, kid!"

Jiraiya's hair grew rapidly, winding towards gold.

Faced with the oncoming long hair, Jin simply smiled calmly, his hand already gripping the hilt of his sword without him even noticing.

next moment.

The sword was drawn.

In the blink of an eye, silver hair flew everywhere.

Jiraiya only saw the flash of the blade and couldn't see the shape of the opponent's sword at all.

This high-speed sword-drawing technique is almost on par with Hatake Ukishige's.

He was an expert in ninja swordsmanship; even Jiraiya wouldn't dare face Hatake Sakumo's sword now.

Especially one of the opponent's deadly physical techniques; just thinking about it makes me feel a sharp pain in a certain area.

"Your three months of training really paid off."

Jiraiya looked at Kin with a serious expression.

Given the opponent's movement and attack capabilities, he wouldn't be someone he could easily defeat in a duel.

I can at least fight him for one or two rounds.

"But I have made progress."

Jiraiya reappeared beside Kin in an instant, before Kin could react, having just sheathed his sword.

Without giving Jin any time to react, his fist slammed down.

bump!

Jin crouched down, clutching his head.

"it hurts."

This time, he really didn't stuff anything into his hair, nor did he observe the way the other person moved.

Jin glared at Minato Namikaze with resentment.

Jiraiya used a shave!

Minato Namikaze unconsciously turned his head away.

Actually, it wasn't taught by him; Jiraiya-sensei learned it himself, along with three other techniques.

He didn't learn much ninjutsu from Jiraiya, but Jiraiya gained quite a lot from it.

I don't even know who taught whom anymore.

"Haha." Jiraiya put his hands on his hips and laughed loudly, "Kid, don't underestimate Lord Jiraiya."

His strength is already extraordinary.

That basic internal skill allowed him to improve at an extremely fast pace.

Just then.

The three of them looked up at the sky at the same time.

A figure gradually descended from the sky, getting closer and closer.

"Is that Kushina?"

Jin was somewhat puzzled; the red hair was just too eye-catching.

"How did you get down from the sky?"

Minato Namikaze also looked worried, thinking that someone falling from such a height would surely die.

Kushina's figure fell to the ground.

"boom!!"

The ground was instantly torn apart by the powerful force, and dirt and stones flew in all directions, raising a cloud of dust.

A figure leaped out of the dust, flipped in mid-air, and landed between the three.

"Kushina Uzumaki! Come on!"

Kushina slowly stood up from her half-lying position on the ground, shaking the headband on her forehead with her hand.

Jin was speechless. This kind of entrance was like an enemy attack; anyone who didn't know better would think it was an enemy attack.

Jiraiya/Minato Namikaze, his eyes sparkling: "So cool."

Kim: "That's enough!!"

Jin looked utterly dejected, feeling like he wasn't stupid enough and therefore didn't fit in with them.

The two's reactions made Kushina even more smug; this was an entrance she had painstakingly devised and begged Tsunade to make.

Jiraiya and Minato Namikaze eagerly approached Kushina to ask how she should make her entrance.

"That's enough!! You guys!!"

Jin quickly called a halt, explaining that they were a team gathering, not a fan meeting.

"It's gold!" Kushina exclaimed, her head practically bobbing up to the sky when she saw gold.

"It's been so long, how's your progress?"

She acted like a bossy older sister facing her younger brother.

Jin hesitated for a moment.

"I probably haven't improved as much as you, since you've already learned to look down on people."

He really doesn't know how to do that.

"Go to hell!"

Kushina threw a punch, and Jin's figure flashed to the other side, the wooden stake behind him slamming into it solidly.

With a loud "boom!", the entire wooden stake turned into dust.

"Superhuman strength punch!"

Jiraiya looked nostalgic, as if he hadn't experienced this in a long time.

Looking at the chasing figure in front of them, one's powerful punch caused destruction wherever it went, while the other was like a phantom that could not be touched at all.

There are differences between this and Jiraiya's past; at least Orochimaru wouldn't be so sarcastic and mocking towards Tsunade.

As for him, he was instantly killed by Tsunade with a single blow, and there was no chase involved.

"Ahem!"

Jiraiya cleared his throat twice, and the two of them stopped and walked over.

"Hmph!" Kushina snorted and turned her head away.

Jiraiya then told the three of them about the mission.

"This time we're heading to the border between the Land of Grass and the Land of Fire, mainly to guard against surprise attacks from Iwagakure. It'll mostly be reconnaissance."

"Is there a problem?"

"No." All three shook their heads in unison.

They didn't really have any objections to this, after all, it was their first time going abroad.

"So, Class 7 has rendezvoused! Let's go!"

The lingering chill of winter had not yet dissipated, and a cold front still lingered in the air.

The melting snow and ice revealed the barren land beneath, and the water from the melting snow and ice made the land muddy.

The seventh spot walked on a desolate road.

Konoha behind them had vanished without a trace.

"Minato, Kin, I obtained the summoning beast that the First Hokage possessed."

Kushina, who was walking ahead, turned around with a smug look on her face.

Jiraiya, who was leading the way, simply smiled knowingly.

Minato Namikaze hesitated for a moment.

"I also got a very good summoned beast."

It is a summoning beast just like Jiraiya's.

"Let's summon them and see which of our summoned beasts is the strongest."

Kushina, with her strong competitive spirit, wanted to see for herself on the spot, and had already completed the hand seals before Minato Namikaze could refute her.

"Spiritual communication techniques."

"Peng".

A slug over two meters tall appeared, and Kushina stood on its enormous form.

"Kushina, do you need to fight?"

"No, let my teammates see it!" Kushina proudly raised her head.

This is a summoning beast that only the first generation of masters possessed.

Slug: ? ? ?

Minato Namikaze scratched his head and finished forming the summoning hand seals.

"Bang!"

A toad more than two meters tall appeared at their feet.

Originally, due to his age, Jin, who had not yet grown taller, looked up at the two enormous figures with a blank expression.

"Hey! Jin! Doesn't Lord Orochimaru also have a powerful summoning beast? You don't have a contract with him, do you?!"

Kushina never missed an opportunity to mock Kim.

"A contract has been formed."

Jin quickly stepped past the two people who were standing on summoned beasts, giving Kushina no chance to make a move.

A cloud of white smoke billowed up behind them as Kushina and Minato Namikaze quickly caught up.

"If you don't, just say so, and I'll definitely make fun of you."

Kushina followed behind, making sarcastic remarks.

Jin suddenly stopped, and Kushina almost bumped into his back.

Before Kushina could even ask a question.

Jin gave the order.

"Little White, bite her!"

A white shadow suddenly emerged from the collar of the gold shirt and bit Kushina's nose.

"Oh no! My nose is going to fall off! It's going to fall off!"

Kushina clung tightly to Shiro's body, running back and forth in a panic, and before she knew it, she bumped her head into a tree.

"Hmph." Jin snorted coldly.

"This is my summoned beast!"
