Naruto Online: Hyuga Branch Family? Let's go all out!

Chapter 103 Curse Seal - Synesthesia

Far Infrared Records, Backyard.

Kurenai Yuhi and the wise-looking Shiroichi were face to face, both looking completely bewildered.

She had initially thought the white leopard was quite pretty, until Ning Yuan reminded her to look at it from the front...

How to put it? From the side, Bai Zhi looks like a phoenix spreading its wings and soaring high, with an elegant beauty.

But when viewed from the front, all elegance disappears, leaving only wisdom.

This isn't just a problem with white-haired birds; many birds are like that—beautiful from the side but comical from the front.

"How do you train this thing into a ninja beast?" Kurenai Yuhi asked. "I've heard it's very difficult!"

"It's indeed very difficult!" Ning Yuan nodded. "Birds have small brains, which are insufficient to understand complex commands, so it's very difficult to teach them chakra extraction techniques. If they can't learn it, the birds can't evolve into ninja birds!"

Yuhi Kurenai looked at Ning Yuan with astonishment: "You know about this too?"

Ning Yuan smiled. His understanding was not based on this single issue, but rather on a comprehensive conclusion drawn from his vast amount of information.

It is known that, apart from the three sacred lands, monkeys, dogs, cats, and turtles, the only other ninja beasts appearing in Naruto are the insects of the Aburame clan and the spider summoned by Kidomaru.

These spirit beasts either possess extremely high intelligence, such as cats and dogs, which are very clever animals, or they have very long lifespans, such as the immortals and turtles of the three holy lands.

They are either insects, or extremely small ones.

It is also known that the core element of ninja beasts lies in chakra.

Therefore, whether an animal possesses chakra is the key to whether it can become a summoning beast.

The three examples above can be summarized as three methods to give summoned beasts chakra.

The first type: those with high intelligence who can learn, such as cats, dogs, and monkeys.

The second type: long lifespan, where physical and mental energy spontaneously accumulates and merges into chakra, which is then passed down through generations, such as the three sacred lands and the tortoise.

The third type: small in size, capable of using the master's chakra, such as spiders and parasites.

Birds are not very intelligent, have short lifespans, and are quite large, which perfectly excludes them from the three conditions. Therefore, it is extremely difficult to breed birds into ninja beasts. Only extremely special individuals in a group can succeed.

"So we can't train it into a ninja beast?" Kurenai Yuhi asked again.

Ning Yuan smiled and said, "Nothing is impossible for a willing heart. I'll give it a try!"

Birds are difficult to breed into ninja beasts, but it's not like no one in the ninja world has succeeded.

For example, the ninja hawks of Konoha, Sasuke's ninja hawks, Itachi's crows, and Pain's bird summoning beasts.

The Ninja Hawks of Konoha are selected from the best of the best and are not representative of other teams.

Sasuke's choice, however, was based on an individual that mutated under the selection of nature, and therefore is not a reliable reference.

Pain's summoning beasts are a special ability of the Rinnegan, so they cannot be used as a reference.

The only remaining reference point is Itachi.

How did Itachi train the crow to become a summoning beast?

According to Ning Yuan, there are three possibilities.

First, crows are among the few intelligent species of birds, and the story of crows drinking water is even recorded in elementary school textbooks, so it is possible that crows have learned chakra extraction techniques.

Secondly, Itachi's genjutsu was very strong. It's possible that he used genjutsu to hypnotize the crow, teaching it how to extract chakra.

Third, crows are small in size, and Itachi used his own chakra to flow within the crows, giving them chakra.

Ning Yuan prefers a combination of the first and second methods: Itachi uses genjutsu to hypnotize the crow, and the crow then uses its own intelligence to learn the chakra extraction technique.

Although there is no genjutsu like Tsukuyomi that directly targets the soul, it's not that complicated to teach a ninja bird the Chakra Extraction Technique.

"Spell Seal: Synesthesia!" Ning Yuan directly inscribed a spell seal shaped like an octopus, with a bright red head and ten tentacles growing from the bottom, and then inserted it into Bai Zhi's brow.

Of course, Ning Yuan didn't do nothing during those two weeks; he spent every day in a relationship.

While deepening his abilities, Ning Yuan also conducted a lot of research, and this curse seal is based on the results of the Caged Bird Seal.

A type of spell seal technique that combines sealing techniques, illusion techniques, and curse seal techniques; it can also be called brain-computer curse seal technique.

The outer part is extremely inconspicuous, just a small red dot, and anyone who sees it would think that it is something that Bai Zhi originally had.

Moreover, the moment the red dot appeared, Bai Zhi's face lost some of its wisdom, replaced by a sense of holiness.

Moreover, beneath this red dot, ten sealing lines extended, each touching Bai Zhi's visual, auditory, gustatory, tactile, and olfactory nerves.

From then on, Ning Yuan could use this cursed seal to send Bai Zhi feelings, and even sounds and images, that he wanted Bai Zhi to have.

Ning Yuan can also use this curse seal to synchronize Bai Zhi's five senses. Not only can he use Bai Zhi to conduct remote reconnaissance, but he can also synchronize the sounds it hears and the smells it smells!

This perfect combination of sealing and illusion techniques could only be developed by someone like Ning Yuan, who is proficient in both.

Oh right, he also had to be placed under the Caged Bird Seal before he would have the inspiration for the Brain-Machine Seal.

What's even more remarkable is that after Ning Yuan discovered that the Byakugan could see the caged bird and that the seal of the tongue-cursing root of calamity was cursed, he also made an invisible modification to the seal, that is, he made a part of the chakra belonging to the seal water attribute.

From then on, looking at this cursed seal with the Byakugan was like looking at water, and the brain certainly doesn't lack water.

In other words, the curse mark can be perfectly integrated into the brain without being detected.

As for how powerful this cursed seal is?

The Rinnegan's ability to share vision is amazing, isn't it?

As long as Ning Yuan has given someone his seal, he can do the same.

Moreover, the Rinnegan can only produce six puppets, while Ning Yuan can produce as many as he wants as long as his brain processes information quickly enough.

However, Ning Yuan had only just successfully developed this cursed seal and hadn't yet tested its effects; Bai Zhi was the first one to do so.

After casting the spell, Ning Yuan gently patted Bai Zhi to wake it up.

A moment later, wisps of emotion were transmitted through the incantation seal.

"It's scared and panicked." Ning Yuan sensed Bai Zhi's emotions in front of him, but he didn't pay attention to them. Instead, he sat down cross-legged and began to extract chakra.

At the same time, he simultaneously transmitted the sensation of extracting chakra to Haku.

Because it is a genjutsu that directly affects the nerves, Hakuchi will not be able to sense that it is a genjutsu at all, but will genuinely believe that he is extracting chakra.

It's worth noting that extracting chakra doesn't require chakra meridians. You just need to calm your mind, sense your body's energy and your spirit's energy, and then merge them.

Therefore, whether it's birds or humans, the feeling when extracting chakra should be the same.

Yuhi Hong glanced at Ning Yuan, then at Bai Zhi lying on the ground beside her. After thinking for a moment, she decided to take action and built a nest for Bai Zhi, putting the eight bird eggs inside.

Although neither family was wealthy, they weren't so poor that they had to eat their own spirit beast eggs.

After a while, Ning Yuan opened his eyes and looked at Bai Zhi's abdomen.

No chakra was born.

This is normal; after all, it's an experiment, and success isn't guaranteed.

Moreover, it takes humans seven or eight days, or even more than ten days, to generate chakra, let alone Hakuchi, who is a bird!

However, Ningyuan's Chakra Extraction Technique has been integrated into the Phoenix Genealogy, and its current level is LV5.

A higher level of chakra extraction technique results in better chakra extraction. If even that doesn't work, it can only mean that Haku doesn't have the talent to extract chakra.

"How is it?" Kurenai asked.

"Give it something to eat, then continue!"

Although Bai Zhi was terrified, it did not resist food. Moreover, after eating, Ning Yuan discovered that it no longer showed much fear; instead, it felt a sense of satisfaction.

"Tsk, this bird is too easy to bribe!" Ning Yuan was speechless, but it was fine this way.

With less resistance, it's naturally easier to calm down.

Try again.

From 2 PM to 4 PM.

Two hours later, Ning Yuan finally felt a feeling different from satisfaction and excitement.

It was a mixture of bewilderment and curiosity.

He opened his eyes, and at the same time, opened the whites of his eyes.

A mass of chakra was already lying in Bai Zhi's abdomen!
