I, Uchiha Hikaru, have joined the chat group.

Chapter 50 Laser Sword and Protective Clothing (Please continue reading~)

Push open the door, enter the room, and close the door.

The surrounding light immediately went out.

Uchiha Hikaru looked around but didn't see Tanjiro and the others who had just come in. So he started walking forward on his own, opening several doors haphazardly along the way. In one of the rooms, he heard a rustling sound coming from under a cabinet not far away.

A ghost with a very long tongue lay there on all fours, drooling as it looked at her.

call out--

With a whoosh of wind, the demon shot out its tongue, which hurtled toward Uchiha Hikaru's face with a sharp whooshing sound!

At the critical moment, Uchiha Hikaru dodged to the side, and threw a string of shuriken with a clanging sound, pinning the tongue to a wooden board not far away.

With a mighty struggle, the long-tongued demon pulled his tongue back, and as blood dripped down, the wound inflicted by the sword in his hand quickly healed.

the other side.

Uchiha Hikaru reached to his waist with his right hand and pulled out a laser sword that looked like a flashlight from his pocket, then pressed the switch.

Two or three meters long, light purple light blades extended out, slightly illuminating the surrounding space.

then……

brush--!

As the long-tongued demon lunged forward again, Uchiha Hikaru flicked his wrist, and a purple laser drew a huge arc in mid-air before returning to its original position.

"...It didn't work?"

Uchiha Hikaru frowned slightly.

Available in the next second.

Suddenly, the long-tongued demon opposite them rolled on the ground and howled in agony. The tongue that had been hanging out of its mouth broke in half. No blood flowed from the cut, but instead a ring of charred black marks appeared. A smell like roasted meat wafted into the surrounding air, causing Uchiha Hikaru to unconsciously twitch his nose twice.

"So there was a delay..."

"Judging from the condition of the incision, the laser sword seems to be inhibiting wound healing?"

Given a demon's regenerative abilities, losing a tongue isn't a serious injury; it will grow back quickly.

However, the healing speed of the ghost's wound seemed to be delayed by that slash. Not only did the burn marks around its tongue fail to fade, but the small piece of flesh growing on both sides also looked a bit off in color.

"You brat, what did you do to me...?"

The long-tongued demon roared in pain and pounced on the enemy like a gecko, using all four limbs.

This time, Uchiha Hikaru chose to meet the attack head-on. In the instant their figures crossed, three or four arcs of light lit up almost simultaneously!

"hiss……"

As the pale purple arc of light faded, Uchiha Hikari appeared a few meters away in the corner of the room, holding a laser sword in each hand. After a flourish of her swords, she turned around. If one ignored the surroundings, she looked like a modern girl holding a glow stick, about to attend a party.

And behind her.

The long-tongued demon let out another wail as its head, arms, and left leg fell off, making several thuds on the ground. The remaining half of its headless and limbless body was still trying to turn and lunge, but was casually kicked away by Uchiha Hikaru, rolling into a heap.

At this moment, the long-tongued ghost found himself in a very awkward situation.

He did not die.

However, those wounds showed no signs of healing.

The body, cleaved into several pieces by the laser sword, now moved in different directions. The hands crawled towards the door, the left leg ran towards the window, while the head and body rolled around in the room, emitting a painful scream.

"Just like before, the wounds severed by the laser sword will be charred after about a second, and the healing speed will almost stop..."

This effect is somewhat similar to "Sun Breathing," which causes demons intense pain and temporarily disables their ability to recover. Perhaps because it lacks the special rays found in the Demon Slayer world, it cannot kill instantly like a Nichirin Blade?

Uchiha Hikaru carefully observed the long-tongued demon's condition, then with a few more swift strokes, he sliced the demon into even smaller pieces. Only after its head was also divided into five or six pieces did the creature finally let out a mournful cry and begin to slowly turn into ashes.

Seeing this, Uchiha Hikaru extinguished the laser sword and stuffed it back into his pocket.

If it really is a lack of light components, it shouldn't be difficult for Bulma to solve. It's simply a matter of adding those different types of rays to the laser sword from the Dragon Ball world to create a Demon Slayer version. Technically, it shouldn't be a problem; it just needs some time.

"Let's try Solar Flare again..."

At that moment, Uchiha Hikaru carefully put on his goggles and then pressed the switch on his protective suit.

In an instant.

A burst of dazzling light, like the sun, transformed her into a tiny radiant being, sweeping away all the darkness in the room.

Too lazy to wander around this maze-like house, she simply activated the first state of Susanoo, and with the dark red skeleton, she charged straight to the end of the corridor and crashed into the ceiling above!

"Ah! My eyes!"

"What's glowing? It's so bright..."

"I'm going blind..."

On the upper floor, several voices rang out in succession.

Under this intense light, neither people nor ghosts could open their eyes.

Only Uchiha Hikaru, protected by his goggles, could vaguely make out his surroundings. Taking advantage of this opportunity, he approached the demon with several drums growing from his body and gently patted his back with his hand seal: "Seal of Self-Karma!"

This demon, who is known for his fierce fighting, is actually quite powerful. He was once the Lower Moon Six and the last seat of the Twelve Demon Moons.

However, because he was blinded by the bright light as soon as he arrived, his movements became extremely slow. Just as he was about to dodge, he was firmly bound by the cursed seal.

Then, Uchiha Hikaru successfully sealed him into the scroll as well.

Unlike laser swords, protective clothing is mostly composed of visible light, with only a small proportion of ultraviolet and infrared radiation.

—That's for sure. Ultraviolet rays, gamma rays, X-rays... these are all sources of intense radiation that can cause damage to the human body. When the intensity reaches a certain limit, they can kill a large number of cells in the body in a very short time. If the protective suit is made of the same material as the laser sword, then even Uchiha Kō, who wore it, would not be spared and it would be impossible to use it properly.

Based on the current results...

"Simply strong light doesn't do much real damage to ghosts, but it seems to slow them down, which can buy you time to attack or escape. The downside is that it wastes your teammates?"

It was only then that Uchiha Hikaru noticed that among the people who had screamed earlier were Tanjiro and Zenitsu, as well as several human boys who had been captured.

It took her less than a minute from smashing through the ceiling to sealing Xiang Kai.

However, it took Tanjiro and the others more than ten minutes to gradually regain their vision.

"Huh, Ms. Hikari, when did you get here? That demon just now..." Tanjiro rubbed his eyes and looked around nervously.

"It's been resolved."
