Chapter 202 On the Moon

When Otsutsuki Toneri regained consciousness, he was no longer the original Otsutsuki, but had become a clone of Uchiha Touya.

Clenching his fist, the newly formed Otsutsuki Toneri clone sensed his own power and couldn't help but shake his head:

"His talent is not bad... but that's about it. He's probably close to the talent level of Hashirama Senju and Madara Uchiha."

"But considering that this guy is blind, in some ways, his bloodline power might be stronger than that of the reincarnations of the Sage of Six Paths' two sons."

After Otsutsuki Toneri acquired the Byakugan, he immediately awakened the Tenseigan. Although the large Tenseigan may have contributed to this, his bloodline was undoubtedly close to that of a true Otsutsuki from beyond the heavens.

Otherwise, if it were an ordinary Hyuga ninja, they would definitely perform a demonstration of what it means to be drained into a dried-up human body, or be directly burst by the chakra of a large Tenseigan.

Of course, this strength and talent meant nothing to Uchiha Touyu. He stood up, casually left a Flying Thunder God seal on the ground, and then, using his own chakra as a resonance, summoned his true form with a bang.

After being refined into clones, Toneri Otsutsuki was able to use most of Touu Uchiha's abilities. When using the Flying Thunder God Technique on both sides at the same time, even if the moon and the ninja world were far apart, he could summon Touu Uchiha instantly.

Otherwise, Uchiha Tou alone wouldn't be able to teleport directly to the moon.

Uchiha Touyu, who appeared in the alternate dimension inside the moon, slightly raised his head, glanced at the false sun in the sky, which was the giant Tenseigan, and then gently reached out a hand.

A strange crimson light shone in his hand, instantly transforming into a blood-red cloud. Initially, it was just a wisp of cloud, but as it flew higher and higher, it grew larger and larger, eventually covering the sky like a crimson curtain, directly engulfing the "sun" in the sky.

A moment later, the light in this lunar space completely disappeared, and the sun in the sky fell into Uchiha Hiyu's hands, turning into a giant Byakugan five meters in diameter.

A soft light enveloped the enormous white eye, making it look like a pure white jade plate. However, upon closer inspection, one would discover that this enormous white eye was actually composed of countless tiny white eyes.

Just looking at its shape, which resembles a giant bunch of grapes, would probably make anyone with trypophobia shudder. Especially those pale white eyes; even Uchiha Touyu would have his sanity shaken up.

"I'll practice making a Thousand-Eyed Glazed Bead later. At least in appearance, that thing is much better than this giant Tenseigan."

The magical artifacts that Uchiha Touyu inherited were basically at two extremes: one type looked like skulls, human skin drums, and white bone banners, full of horror; the other type looked colorful, gorgeous and mysterious, as if they were some kind of extraordinary treasure.

The Thousand-Eyed Glazed Bead belongs to the latter category. The bead produced is glazed in color, as large as a fist, and dazzling. If only ordinary eyeballs are used for refining, then at least a thousand eyeballs are needed to refine one Thousand-Eyed Glazed Bead.

The Thousand-Eyed Glass Bead, crafted from ordinary eyeballs, possesses two abilities: clairvoyance and visual illusion. The more eyes incorporated into it, the better its effects become.

The Byakugan, being a unique type of eye, naturally has even more powerful effects. Putting aside everything else, the Thousand Eyes Glazed Beads created from the Byakugan could easily scan the entire ninja world, and it probably wouldn't be a problem to use it as an astronomical telescope.

He stored the eyeball that was driving people with trypophobia to death into another dimension. Then, Uchiha Touyu's divine sense scanned the entire moon and quickly sensed the enormous yet deathly still chakra hidden in the very center of the moon.

"There's a small problem..."

Sensing that completely silent and closed mind, Uchiha Touyu had a headache. The effects of the Heavenly Demon Secret were not omnipotent, or rather, at least Uchiha Touyu's current cultivation level was still far from that of a true extraterrestrial demon, and he could not truly corrupt all things with demonic power.

Kaguya Otsutsuki, who was sealed in the center of the moon, was not simply imprisoned like Sun Wukong. At the very innermost part of the seal was a space that was almost completely lifeless, where not only could chakra not flow, but even personal consciousness ceased to exist.

Saying she ceases to exist might be an exaggeration, but it's clear that Kaguya Otsutsuki's self-awareness was also frozen while she was sealed away—in fact, upon closer examination, this is quite normal.

Otherwise, if Kaguya Otsutsuki had maintained her self-awareness and been trapped on the moon for a thousand years, the final result would have been either like some ultimate creature drifting in outer space, ceasing to think, or she would have gone insane and transformed into a complete chakra beast.

Normal people would develop a mental breakdown after being trapped in a dark room with no means of communication for three days. As intelligent beings, Uchiha Touyu didn't think the Otsutsuki clan's resistance was much higher than that of normal people in this respect.

With such a completely frozen mind, there would be no fluctuations, so the demonic thoughts transformed by Uchiha Touyu would naturally have no way to attack.

If he had truly mastered the Heavenly Demon Secret Technique and transformed himself into the Heavenly Demon form, then Uchiha Touyu would be confident in forcibly corrupting Kaguya Otsutsuki with demonic energy. However, his current half-baked Nascent Soul stage cultivation is still far from sufficient.

"Forget it, it seems there's no way to turn Kaguya into a ninja weapon in the short term. Releasing her now and then trying to subdue her later would be a bit troublesome."

Uchiha Touyu is still quite confident in himself. He wouldn't dare say he could easily crush Kaguya, but he would definitely be able to gain a significant advantage.

However, at Kaguya's level, she has reached the so-called power to "cleanse the earth," an absolute catastrophe capable of completely destroying modern civilization. If he were to fight Kaguya for even a little longer, just a day and a night, he could reduce the current population of the ninja world by 90%.

The current population of the ninja world is all Uchiha Touyu's leeks. Instead of risking fighting Kaguya, it would be better to explore other planes. At worst, it would take ten years for the leeks to mature again. By then, Uchiha Touyu's strength would have improved considerably, making it much easier to suppress Otsutsuki Kaguya.

He created a pure-blooded Otsutsuki clone and had it stationed on the moon to protect him. Uchiha Touyu then added several more layers of seals to the outside of this artificial planet, making it ten times more difficult for Otsutsuki Kaguya to escape.

Then, he sealed off the communication channel to the moon, had his Otsutsuki clone open the Kamui dimension, hid inside the dimension, and then activated the power of Yoru no Kamihara.

In the vast and ethereal void, Uchiha Touyu slowly opened his eyes. The moment he opened his eyes, the void seemed to slowly recede like a curtain, and the sound of ocean waves came from all around.

"This time... I wonder where they've gone?"

"I hope I can dream about someone! Otherwise, I'll just waste another period of time."

To put it simply, the Night God's technique is almost like traveling through the world in a dream. However, Uchiha Touyu's luck wasn't very good in the previous times. He would appear in some desolate worlds or simply in the cold and desolate void of the universe. Even when he appeared in some habitable worlds, he didn't encounter any people.

As long as he doesn't encounter anyone, Uchiha Touyu's Demon Invasion techniques are meaningless, and he can't stay in the Night God Plain for too long. Each time he dreams, Uchiha Touyu usually only has five to ten minutes to check his surroundings.

The world, or planet, is very large. A planet suitable for human or carbon-based life to survive must have at least 50% of its surface covered by oceans. In addition, there are many wildernesses on land that have never been visited by humans. This means that even on a planet with humans, the chances of Uchiha Touyu encountering humans are only one or two out of ten.

In this situation, although Uchiha Touyu had dreamed hundreds of times, he still couldn't pinpoint any particular world.

"The ocean again... I hate this damn ocean!"

Looking around, Uchiha Touyu's face immediately showed a dejected expression. The ocean was vast and desolate, and being here basically meant that this dream trip was over.

Although there are many creatures in the sea, these creatures are not very intelligent and have not formed self-awareness. Naturally, they cannot generate any inner demons. At least with Uchiha Touyu's current level of Heavenly Demon Secret Cultivation, he has not reached the point where he can even possess fish in the sea.

"Looks like we're going to have to return empty-handed again... Hmm!?"

Just as Uchiha Touyu was feeling somewhat dejected, a strong mental fluctuation in the distance made him raise his head and look into the distance.

"Someone's there... Is it a ship?... That's amazing!!"

After sensing the emotional fluctuations in the distance, Uchiha Tou immediately began to fly towards them. Unfortunately, his movement speed in the dream was not fast, roughly equivalent to the running speed of an ordinary ninja.

"Faster, faster..."

After taking seven or eight minutes, Uchiha Tou arrived at the scene, and then his eyebrows furrowed.

Before him lay a merchant ship adrift at sea, but the bloodstains and thick smoke on board, along with the tiny black shadow of a pirate ship in the distance, indicated that the ship had clearly been attacked by the enemy.

Should he continue searching for the pirate ship over there? Uchiha Touyu pondered for a moment, then abandoned the idea—each time he dreamt of another world, the longest he ever lasted was no more than ten minutes, and the shortest was five minutes. Now, seven or eight minutes had already passed, and the connection with this world could be severed at any moment. He couldn't afford to waste any more time.

Sensing the gradually disappearing mental fluctuations inside the merchant ship, Uchiha Touya did not hesitate and immediately infiltrated it. He quickly found a young man with a stab wound to the abdomen who was bleeding to death.

With everyone else on the merchant ship dead, Uchiha Touyu had no choice but to enter the young man's nearly vanished mind.

When a person is on the verge of death, negative emotions are often very intense, which is the best breeding ground for inner demons. Even though the mental power that Uchiha Hiu projected into this world was very weak, it only took a dozen seconds to completely devour the young man.

Having completely taken over everything of the young man, Uchiha Touyu immediately felt a chill run through his body, his vision went black, and he even felt a strong sense of drowsiness.

"This is bad...this physical condition..."

After taking over the body, the feeling of being detached from the world immediately disappeared. However, the body is now on the verge of death, and if no action is taken, it will be game over.

Fortunately, even though Uchiha Touyu has no way to get support from the main body right now, he can still use some of the ordinary physical control techniques that don't involve energy.

He manipulated the muscles in his body to close up, suppressing the bleeding from the wound, and then barely managed to sit up cross-legged, dragging his collapsing body, and took a long breath.

This is not cultivation. Even so-called demonic arts, if forced to cultivate in this state of physical exhaustion and lack of foundation, will only hasten one's collapse. Therefore, this is merely a method of using breathing to calm the body and accumulate strength.

After taking deep breaths for more than ten minutes, Uchiha Touyu finally opened his eyes, feeling that his body had gathered some strength.

He glanced up at the other dead bodies in the cabin and couldn't help but sigh:

"Is there no one left alive on the entire ship? This is really troublesome. It looks like I'll have to make it through on my own."

You should know that his current physical body has suffered serious injuries that could be fatal. Although his vital organs are not damaged, the blood loss from being cut open is enough to kill a person.

It was fortunate that Uchiha Touyu had trained in the Blood Nerve, so even without any magical power, he could still control blood flow simply by relying on the muscle power of his body; otherwise, he would have been dead by now.

Although he has managed to control his injuries, he is still teetering on the brink of death. With no one else on the ship, he has to take care of his own food and clothing. Whether he can recover or die halfway through his journey is truly unknown.

"Forget it, let's not think about it too much for now... At least this time we did find other worlds, which is a big improvement over before."

"I'd better go find something to eat first to replenish my energy, otherwise I'm probably going to die."
