Full-Time Magician: Demon Mage

Chapter 318 Nine-Turn Strategy

Several more minutes passed, and the number of undead continued to increase.

As Sind looked at the swarm of scarlet mummies on the field, he was so happy that he could hardly contain his joy, and the corners of his mouth were almost turned up in a smile.

He suddenly remembered a classic quote circulating on the international internet, a classic quote from a Chinese chef.

A master of cunning and manipulation!

"Mios, the first thing I'll do when I get back after this battle is write two lines in my strategic diary."

The following passage came to Sinde's mind.

You can't eliminate me unless you attack me! If you attack me, you've fallen into my trap! —Sinde

"Stop thinking about your shitty diary, they're dying. Let's summon more Battle Axe Mummies and Death Blade Mummies."

"While they're still suspicious, let's accumulate more high-level undead. Then they won't have a chance to turn the tables!"

Mios's fiery temper immediately shattered Sind's illusions, and seeing that victory was within reach, she couldn't help but get excited as well.

Soon, things changed on the field. The Egyptian team broke the silence first, and commander-level undead began to appear!

During the battle between the Greek and British teams, the intensity of the undead suddenly increased, and their mana consumption began to accelerate.

Not only do they have to deal with the commander-level undead, but they also have to contend with the attacks from groups of lower-ranking undead.

"Zhelu, let's go pressure the Greek team!" Eileen spoke up, her small face showing a determined expression, no longer hesitant.

The British team's strength is in the most awkward position. They missed the opportunity to deal with the Egyptian team at the beginning, and now they have no way out.

Although it's unclear what the Greek team is planning, they need to make a choice.

Egypt started to exert their strength, increasing the intensity of their attack, which was also their only chance to counterattack.

"Duke Eileen, are you saying we're going to cut off the Greek team's retreat?" Hibbert asked, based on his own understanding, after waving his hand and sending several lightning pythons to defeat the charging undead.

"Yes! This is our only option now. That woman, Azharia, is probably planning to stall and eliminate us first!" Eileen said.

"Okay~" Zhelu agreed to the idea. Although it was a bit humiliating, the Egyptian team was indeed the natural counter to his magic.

Rushing in now to cut off Greece's retreat would force them to choose between two options: either the two teams cooperate and eliminate one of them first, or they start fighting and neither can reap the benefits.

Ideally, one side should be eliminated, so that the other two sides will at least receive a minimum reward.

After agreeing on a plan, Zhelu used wind magic to carry everyone away from the undead's pursuit and headed towards the rear of the Greek team.

Close behind were the scarlet mummies, who relentlessly pursued them.

The situation quickly took a sharp turn for the worse, reaching a critical point!

Are you all idiots?

Asha's face was filled with rage. She had been paying close attention to the British team's actions, but she hadn't expected them to pull such a stunt. Could it be that they also knew how to use tactics?

The undead mummies quickly surrounded the two groups.

With undead besieging them from the outside and suspicions running through their ranks from the inside, nothing could be worse than this.

Of course, to prevent their nominal allies from suddenly launching a deadly attack, the British team didn't dare get too close under Asha's angry shouts of warning, since the Greek team was maintaining a very strong fighting spirit.

"Asha'erya, either we play a really open game, in which case you'll basically be saying goodbye to first place, or we team up to eliminate the Egyptian team and then we'll have another match. Now tell me what your plan is?"

Eileen stared intently at her; she was ready to lay her cards on the table, otherwise, if things dragged on any longer, the British team would have no chance of turning the tide.

"Tsk~"

A look of regret crossed Asha's face, but she quickly replaced it with a smile that could charm anyone.

"Eileen, teaming up is fine. Have Zheluo and me break into the Egyptian team's territory. With our full strength, they won't be able to stop us."

"However... you need to release the Shark King's Spirit Shadow to withstand the attacks of all the undead mummies, since they can't hold out without me in the team."

"how?"

Asharuya looked at her with a smile. The other party's magical artifact was a bit troublesome for her. Its defensive performance was too excellent. Unless the attack reached a super-class level, it was basically impossible to break through its defense.

Unless she reveals her trump card, but she also has to be wary of Zhe Luo, she can't use them all at once.

Chaos is a very troublesome element, and Zero's Chaos is one of the best. Without an extremely powerful attack to overload Zero's limits, she will be the one in trouble.

After all, once the Egyptian team was eliminated through cooperation, Zero's summoning ability was freed up. She had to face the fully-formed Zero alone, and if she were to add an almost invincible defense, there would be too many variables.

The Greek team, including her, is still a little bit lacking compared to the two superb combinations of the British team.

As long as Eileen releases the Shark King's Spirit Shadow, she will try to buy some time until the magic tool's duration ends. There won't be time to recharge the magic stone in a short period of time.

"good!"

Eileen immediately agreed. In this three-way battle, they were already at a disadvantage against the Egyptian team, and the other side was almost certain to gain an advantage.

If she doesn't agree, the British team will likely be eliminated; if she agrees, they'll still have a chance to fight back after beating the Egyptian team.

"Great! Let's get started!" Asha's beautiful eyes rose, her attention to Eileen deepening.

"Zheluo~ It's up to you!" Eileen winked at him and said with a smile.

"I understand!" Zheluo scratched his head, understanding Eileen's veiled hint. Whether the team could win depended on him.

Without any unnecessary words, Zhelu quickly connected to the high-level wind constellation, a pair of wind wings appeared behind him, and he flashed into the air.

"The Spirit Shadow of the Mermaid King!"

Eileen immediately activated her trump card: the necklace, a special magical artifact unlike any other.

After the enormous spirit briefly appeared, it quickly transformed into a barrier that enveloped her, a protective layer that could be described as invincible at a high level.

"Let Eileen lead the way; you all be careful!"

Asha'ruya immediately transformed into the Dark Swordswoman, turning into a shadow as she charged towards the Egyptian team's position!

The two teams merged into one place, with Eileen as the tankiest member standing at the front. The scarlet mummies slammed against the barrier, but the barrier didn't even ripple.

Only the Battle Axe Mummy and the Death Blade Mummy, two somewhat significant commander-level undead, caused slight fluctuations when they attacked the barrier.

"This defense is incredible!" Tang Yue watched the stark contrast in the live stream, where a towering undead commander wielded a battle axe, a truly awe-inspiring sight.

However, that barrier, which was about two meters high, seemed to be the hardest object in the world, and no matter how the battle axe cleaved at it, it could not be broken.

Eileen single-handedly drew the hatred of a small circle of undead nearby, demonstrating the effectiveness of her mind-based abilities.

The merged teams, with their mutual trust slightly increased, were still quite powerful and quickly dispatched the commander-level undead.
