Barrett quickly calmed down and said indifferently, "I don't care to know. Anyway, if the boss knows, then I know too."

"Hey! Why are you like this?" Beta asked, still annoyed and unwilling to give up.

Barrett calmly shook his head, expressionless.

"How boring!" Beta said with a disappointed look, then took out the Devil Fruit to show him.

Barrett grinned; he knew this impatient jerk wouldn't be able to resist showing off, and now he'd fallen right into his trap.

This Devil Fruit looks a bit strange, unlike anything I've seen before. Barrett didn't think much of it, since Devil Fruits have always been strange anyway.

After taking one look, he lost interest. He couldn't use it anyway, and there was nothing to be curious about.

It tastes absolutely awful!
