Ancient Wizards Return to Hogwarts...

Chapter 109 Don't you have a compound decoction? (Bonus Chapter!)
Somehow, news of what happened to Harry, Meghan, and Harry in the dungeon spread like wildfire throughout the school, causing a huge sensation. Everyone knew that two extraordinary new students had joined the school this year, successfully thwarting Professor Quirrell's plot to steal Dumbledore's treasure.
For a time, the school was abuzz with discussion, but many people were also puzzled as to why a Slytherin would go on an adventure with two Gryffindors.
Then, further news emerged: before the operation, the young wizards were unaware of who was truly after the treasure; Daphne had voluntarily entered the dungeon to prove Professor Snape's innocence. Ultimately, she obtained the ownership of an ancient wizard's treasure from a mirror, using it to defeat the villain Quirrell.
This instantly boosted Daphne's reputation within Slytherin: noble birth, mastery of mysterious magic, courage to face danger to defend the honor of the house, and ultimately, recognition from an extremely rare magical creature—this was exactly the kind of person Slytherin students admired.
In no time, Daphne's reputation rivaled that of Harry Potter, who had just entered the school and had not yet been "demystified."
To be honest, even if you let the Slytherin students choose between Quirrell and Snape as the villain, they would choose Professor Snape. Quirrell just doesn't have the qualities a villain should have; he's too ordinary.
The adventures of Daphne and her friends in the dungeon dispelled the gloom that had been hanging over the school called "final exams," but they ultimately could not stop the final exams from coming.
After the initial excitement, the students had to return to their tedious notes to prepare for the exam. However, this time, during their breaks from reviewing, they finally had something to talk about to console themselves.
While the young wizards at Hogwarts were studying for their exams, Rice wasn't idle either. On the surface, he remained unconscious in the hospital ward, while Harry and Ron, who had been admitted later, had already recovered and been discharged, and he still showed no signs of waking. In reality, he spent his days immersed in his Chamber of Secrets, studying the Philosopher's Stone he had acquired and concocting various potions—he made over a hundred different potions to treat Ravenclaw and even collected a key ingredient for her.
Rice, who had been lying unconscious in the hospital bed, finally woke up on the morning of the final exams.
Because the timing was too coincidental, Professor McGonagall initially suspected that Rice had staged this trick to avoid the final exam. However, when Rice volunteered to take the make-up exam as soon as possible, all her doubts vanished, leaving only guilt for wrongly accusing a good student.
"Don't be too anxious, the professors will arrange a make-up exam for you—but don't take any more medicine this time." Professor McGonagall spoke to Rice with rare gentleness before leaving the ward.
Shortly after Professor McGonagall left, Daphne came in carrying a box of desserts.
"I brought you your favorite desserts. You're finally awake. Final exams are over." Daphne's suspicion of Rice never stopped.
However, because Rice's acting was so superb, she believed that Rice was indeed unconscious—it was just that at first it was to make an alibi, and later it was because the battle had exhausted her body and she had fallen into a coma.
Clearly, Rice was unwilling to admit that he was the green-robed wizard from that day, so Daphne tacitly stopped bringing it up.
"Thank you!" Rice excitedly took the dessert basket from Daphne and rummaged through it to find his favorite desserts. After waking up, Rice felt that desserts would become his eternal hobby.
After popping a piece of cheesecake into his mouth, Rice showed a satisfied expression.
"Professor McGonagall is organizing a make-up exam; you should attend it."
"Hmm, the exam isn't difficult, you're sure... wait a minute, who did you say would go take it?"
Rice swallowed the Basque cake in his mouth and then pointed at Daphne.
"you."
"I?!"
"There should still be some of the compound decoction I prepared last time, right? You can take the exam for me!" Rice picked up a few strands of hair from the pillow and stuffed them into the hands of the bewildered Daphne.
Daphne: ?
"You take the final exams for me. I have a lot to do, and I need to focus my energy on potion making." Rice looked at Daphne, hoping she could help him deal with this extremely annoying exam.
It's not that he can't take the exam without any preparation, but it's really a waste of time. It might take up the whole day. Why waste that time on an exam?
Daphne pouted—her intuition told her that Rice was plotting something big again, but he wasn't going to take her along, which made the girl quite unhappy.
So she stated decisively: No way! How can a student take an exam for someone else? She's a model student who values honor and follows school rules!
Rice just watched her quietly.
Do you think I don't know what kind of person you are?!
After acting for a few seconds, Daphne, feeling embarrassed herself, stopped her performance and said that helping Rice with the exam was fine, but she would have to take Rice with her on the upcoming adventure.
Now it's Rice's turn to have a headache.
He really didn't want to bring Daphne along when treating Ravenclaw, because it was just too dangerous. Treating Ravenclaw in his current state was like pulling teeth or implanting implants for a tigress without anesthesia.
However, it's not impossible to do it with some preparation beforehand. For Daphne, witnessing this treatment would be an extremely valuable experience.
After carefully analyzing the pros and cons, Rice finally decided to agree to Daphne's request.
"Really?!" Daphne jumped up excitedly, almost knocking over Rice's dessert basket. She knew Rice had been focusing most of her energy on that matter this semester, and now she could finally get involved!
So, when the make-up exam began, "Rice" walked into the make-up exam room that the professors had set up for him on time.
Magic school exams are generally divided into two parts: a written exam and a practical exam.
As Rice stepped into the examination room, the professors smiled and said that he could freely arrange the order and content of the exams.
Then "Rice" completed all the practical exams for the three courses: Spells, Transfiguration, and Potions in one go.
After finishing the exams, he received the exam papers from the professor and sat there for the entire afternoon. Apart from occasionally drinking water from his kettle, he did nothing else, not even leaving his seat to go to the toilet.
Unlike the practical exam, which was a direct copy of the final exam, the written exam questions were changed by the professors to last year's questions, which caused "Rice" considerable trouble, but it still couldn't stop him from getting an extremely high score—after he finished writing a page, the professors would take it over to grade it on the spot, so his score would be available as soon as he finished the exam.
Rice was the last to take the exam, but his results were the first to come out.
