Ancient Wizards Return to Hogwarts...

Chapter 119 Say more nice things to that old lady

Seeing Ravenclaw's gaze, Rice raised an eyebrow: "She's a Greengrass child, a very talented little witch."

"Oh?" Ravenclaw's interest was piqued. For Salazar to praise her talent meant she was indeed exceptional. Add to that her Greengrass family lineage… so she was the heir Salazar had chosen after his rebirth?

Now she wants to meet the little guy.

"But will you, the heir, outlive me?" she thought to herself.

Regardless of Salazar's bizarre methods of achieving immortality, the fact that his physical age matches that of his disciple is quite intriguing; it's really hard to say who will pass away first.

Ravenclaw wanted to see Daphne, and Rice naturally couldn't stop him. However, before leaving, he still asked, "In what capacity do you want to see her?"

Ravenclaw understood Rice's implication, and after a moment's consideration, she decided to meet her as Ravenclaw.

"I'm already like this, there's no need for me to hide it anymore," she said.

Rice didn't reveal his identity because he didn't want to frighten children and wanted to keep a low profile, while Ravenclaw didn't have these concerns.

"Okay, but please remember, my name is Rice Lint."

"Yes, Slytherin."

Rice: ...

His steps were hesitant and uncertain.

"Is there anything else?" Ravenclaw could tell at a glance that his old friend hadn't finished speaking.

"Could you help me fix this crystal ball? It was broken by that brat." He carefully took out the shards of the crystal ball from his pocket.

Ravenclaw frowned. "The damage is so severe, and the incantation attached to it is extremely sophisticated. Look at my current state—"

"So that's not going to work?"

"Yes, but you have to grant me one request."

"Never mind then." Rice refused her decisively—Ravenclaw's request was not something to be agreed to lightly; doing so would cause big problems.

Ravenclaw: ...

What kind of image did I have in your mind before? The thing I need your help with this time is really simple!

She wanted to say something more, but Rice had already walked into the passageway without looking back.

Ravenclaw couldn't help but laugh: Very well, still the same shrewd and cunning Slytherin, but you're not the only one who can get things done.

She raised her head, her gaze seemingly piercing through the thick stone wall.

……

"Are you alright?" Seeing Rice emerge from the passageway unharmed, Daphne quickly went up to her.

"It's like pulling a lioness's teeth, without anesthesia," Rice shrugged. He was certain that no one in the world but himself could cure Ravenclaw.

Those with medical skills can't get close to her, and those who can... does anyone in the world really have that ability? Without even mastering the domain, it's best not to go to Ravenclaw and throw your life away.

Daphne burst out laughing.

"Fortunately, I've healed her almost completely now, so you can go see her." Les winked at Daphne. "You definitely won't leave empty-handed. Remember to say nice things to that old lady; she won't treat you badly."

Rice believed that Ravenclaw would definitely not be stingy with gifts when facing Daphne, otherwise, where would she put her face? This was an elder meeting a younger person; if she didn't give a thick and big "red envelope," how could Ravenclaw have the nerve?

"Me?" Daphne pointed to herself, looking surprised and uncertain.

She was completely bewildered; the girl couldn't understand why the mysterious woman wanted to see her.

"By the way, the mystery is now revealed. The person we just rescued is Rowena Ravenclaw, one of the founders of Hogwarts."

……

Daphne was still in a daze when she walked through the passageway and arrived at the platform: the news Rice had revealed to her was so explosive that her brain couldn't process it for a while.

Did we save Ravenclaw?

Daphne suddenly felt like she was jumping on the bandwagon. What had she been doing all this time? Her only role was chatting with Rice and wasting his magic potions. Even the live-streaming crystal ball Rice gave her lost its view as soon as the battle started—in other words, she wasn't even a spectator.

Rice, however, said that he and she had saved Ravenclaw together, giving her a feeling of "I teamed up with the boss to score 80 points".

And that's Ravenclaw! It might even be a living Ravenclaw!!! To have the chance to meet the founder of Hogwarts in my lifetime is something I never dared to dream of.

"You seem to have a lot on your mind?" A soft female voice interrupted her thoughts. Daphne hurriedly looked up and saw a ghost standing alone on the platform.

Even as a ghost, Daphne could still tell that the wizard's robes she wore were exquisitely crafted, suggesting that the materials she used in life must have been of the highest quality. Coupled with her well-maintained face and her deep eyes that occasionally flashed with a glimmer of wisdom, Daphne immediately believed that she was Rowena Ravenclaw.

As Daphne looked at Ravenclaw, Ravenclaw was also sizing her up. After exchanging words with Salazar, she knew that the language of this era had changed drastically, so she cast a translation spell on herself: Eternal Knowledge. During the time that Rhys was on the platform, she transformed it back into level ground and concealed her physical body.

In just a few seconds, Ravenclaw had examined Daphne from head to toe, and then she had to admit that, aside from everything else, Salazar's apprentice was quite presentable, but she didn't know if her talent was really as outstanding as Salazar had said.

"Hello." Daphne greeted the ghost opposite her timidly, her tone filled with nervousness.

She couldn't help but be nervous; the person before her was none other than the legendary Ravenclaw witch! She took two deep breaths, her eyes involuntarily glancing to the side, hoping to see if Rice would react in any way, hoping for some mental encouragement. Then she was astonished to find that Rice hadn't followed her in.

At this moment, Rice poked at the light membrane at the entrance of the tunnel and shook his head helplessly. He knew Rowena would do this.

She wanted to see Daphne alone.

"Hello, child, don't be nervous, come closer." Ravenclaw smiled warmly and waved to Daphne.

The smile on her face melted away Daphne's nervousness. She took two steps toward Ravenclaw, and then a table and two chairs appeared out of thin air in front of her.

"Please sit down, we can sit down and talk." Ravenclaw gestured for Daphne to sit down first.

Here's the second update. I'm going back to writing now. The next update might be tonight, or it might be tomorrow morning.

Today I was so angry at the company's incompetent admin that my liver hurts – I've been here for a month and I still can't log into the company's attendance system. I've sent emails and submitted applications, but nobody cares. It's ridiculous!

Then today these people emailed me urging me to do a training session, specifically one I've already done, claiming that I did xxx-2023 but not xxx. However, these two things are completely identical! And this was something I requested before joining the company—what does it have to do with me?!

As a result, no one pays attention to my legitimate needs, but they keep asking me to fill out these nonsensical forms.

I'm so angry I'm going crazy, my heart is aching from anger.
