Ancient Wizards Return to Hogwarts...

Chapter 172 Rice, come here and give me a back massage! (Happy New Year's Eve!)

According to research, the tomb's occupant was a descendant of the secret keepers of the ancient Egyptian pharaohs. These secret keepers had protected the pharaohs' tombs for generations, but by the 12th century, the ancient Egyptian magical world had completely declined, and the sorcerer community in Egypt had undergone a complete transformation. This led to the utter corruption of the secret keepers, with many of their descendants making a living by stealing and selling the pharaohs' funerary objects.

Therefore, we can reasonably infer that the tomb owner's grandfather obtained this cup in exchange for information about the tomb of an ancient Egyptian pharaoh.

"The Pharaoh's tomb..." Looking at the Secret Order's analysis, Rice also felt that their analysis made a lot of sense. If it was a Pharaoh's tomb that had never been opened, it could indeed attract the Hufflepuffs to excavate it.

Ancient Egypt is the birthplace of magic and the origin of sorcerers. As the leaders of the first sorcerers, the first pharaohs of ancient Egypt were definitely no less powerful than the Norse gods, which means that their tombs must have contained many good things.

However, it must be a sufficiently ancient pharaoh's tomb. Rice believes that there is basically no need to excavate the tombs of pharaohs from the 20th Dynasty onwards after the Persian conquest, let alone Ptolemaic Egypt, which is a case of deception.

Their relationship with ancient Egypt was too superficial.

"It's ancient enough and has never been looted. Even with these two conditions, it's still shrouded in mystery." Rice couldn't help but sigh.

Reliable intelligence was scarce; all he had found were a few clues about Hufflepuff. Even worse, he couldn't be sure whether Helga had wandered off to other places after "visiting" the Pharaoh's tomb.

However, something is better than nothing. Judging from this information, Hufflepuff is doing quite well after leaving Hogwarts, and his magical skills have also improved.

After calming himself down, Rice put the badger-head bronze cup and the materials compiled by the Secret Order into his pocket, intending to show them to Ravenclaw when he returned to school.

Since the intelligence wasn't clear enough, Rice wasn't in a hurry to go find Hufflepuff; he needed to quickly clear out the secret society outposts on the list.

On the bright side, what if we hit the jackpot and find another clue about Hufflepuff? Wouldn't that be a huge windfall?

With this in mind, Rice set off.

……

While Rice was traveling all over the world turning the Secret Order's "little mice" into drowned mummies, Hogwarts enjoyed another peaceful day.

Daphne rubbed her sleepy eyes as she walked out of the dormitory, and then saw Rice reading a book in that familiar corner of the common room.

"Rice, good morning..." Daphne, still half-asleep, realized halfway through her sentence that the guy in front of her was an imposter, because this Rice was holding the History of Magic.

"Honestly, the programming inside is so shoddy!" Daphne complained. "How could Rice know anything about the history of magic? It's too easy to spot the mistakes!"

As she spoke, she walked over and snatched the book "History of Magic" from Rice's hand.

The interrupted avatar, Rice, did not react angrily. He raised his head and said to Daphne in a gentle voice, "Good morning, Daphne."

Looking at Rice, who sat quietly on the stool, looking at her with friendly eyes, Daphne narrowed her eyes. She suddenly realized that she had control over "Rice," didn't she? Did that mean he could do whatever she wanted, or were there some restrictions?

Once the idea took hold, it grew wildly like weeds. Daphne couldn't resist the urge to manipulate Rice's fake body to do something.

"Rice, could you go and bring me back some breakfast?" Daphne asked tentatively.

"Of course." Rice's fake body stood up and walked towards the auditorium without saying a word.

Daphne: !

It really can!

She immediately became excited; it seemed that Rice had granted her more authority than she had expected.

After sensing that Rice was blocking the hall, Daphne tried to take over his vision and took some of her favorite breakfast from the table in the hall.

A few minutes later, seeing Rice return to the table with a huge pile of breakfast, Daphne couldn't help but chuckle.

She leaned back on the stool, crossed her legs, and opened the Daily Prophet that had just arrived. She flipped through the newspaper a couple of times, then looked at the fake Rice sitting next to her, slowly eating breakfast.

"Rice, I want to read the newspaper, so feed me breakfast."

"Okay." Rice's avatar put down the sandwich in his hand and began preparing breakfast for Daphne.

Daphne: Hehehe~

Rice's avatar made a bacon and egg sandwich, then used a spell to cut it into small pieces and served it to Daphne with a fork.

After swallowing the breakfast "offered" by her fake body, Daphne felt a genuine sense of pleasure: This is so interesting!

She continued to give orders, while the imposter continued to feed her breakfast.

When Astoria appeared in the common room, she was stunned by what she saw: she saw her sister reclining in a chair like a decadent Roman nobleman, with Rice standing beside her, leaning over to feed her with a fork.

Astoria: I'm getting too excited, I'm hallucinating.

"Sister, Rice, what's going on here..." Astoria looked at the two of them with a very complicated expression.

"Ah, it's you, Astoria, wait a moment!" Daphne changed her posture and then ordered "Rice," "Rice, give me a back massage."

"Okay." Without saying much, Rice squatted down next to Daphne and began to massage her back meticulously.

Astoria's pupils dilated in shock: Sister, do you have some kind of leverage over Rice?

After enjoying a massage for a while, Daphne slowly told Astoria that this Rice was fake, a fake body made by Rice, and entrusted to her for safekeeping.

Astoria: "So this is how you keep it?"

Daphne glanced at her: "You won't tell Rice, will you?"

"Of course," Astoria declared resolutely to her sister. Then, she secretly calculated what reward Rice would give her after betraying her sister. Putting everything else aside, she'd been eyeing the Disillusionment Charm for a long time; if she could get a necklace like her sister's, that would be a huge win!

This is her older sister; she should fetch a good price!

However, she certainly wouldn't be foolish enough to report it to her sister in front of her. Instead, she would find an opportunity to tell Rice, and when her sister asked about it later, she would blame the other students in the academy.

Why is my sister so high-profile?

Thinking of this, she began to patch up her own defenses. She took two steps forward and said sincerely, "Sister, isn't it a bit inappropriate to be so high-profile? What if some clueless person sees us? Rice might find out about it in the future."

Daphne thought about it carefully and realized that her sister's words made some sense. She dared to play like this because it was just a fake Rice had made, no different from the plush toy that Rice had given her. How could she dare to boss the real Rice around like that?

If the real Rice finds out...

Daphne shuddered, and just then, a voice rang out that made her frown but delighted Astoria.
