Ancient Wizards Return to Hogwarts...

Chapter 337 1 Forgetting All is Emptiness

Chapter 337 All is Oblivion

The Three Broomsticks bar was packed, but luckily Daphne came in early and saved them a table.

Rice struggled to push through the crowd, with Harry cautiously following behind, afraid of accidentally stepping on someone or having his invisibility cloak torn off. Sirius, taking advantage of his size, crawled under the table and rushed to Daphne's table.

It took a lot of effort for Rice to squeeze through. Harry went around behind Rice, and seeing that no one around was paying attention to them, he took off his invisibility cloak.

Daphne glanced at him, her expression somewhat surprised. She finally understood why Rice had suddenly run away.

"I didn't expect this place to be so lively." Rice glanced at the noisy little tavern and exclaimed from the bottom of his heart.

Was the Hogsmeade tavern always this lively? He'd never been before and wasn't sure. But in his mind, weren't taverns usually only lively after nightfall?

"Four butterbeers, standard amount of foam!" Daphne called out to the bartender at the bar counter, a middle-aged witch with a slender figure and pretty face.

Looking at the still-attractive female owner, and then at the middle-aged male wizards gathered around the bar bragging, Rhys had a sudden realization: it seems there's a reason why business is so good here! Mrs. Rosmerta, she knows all too well how to run a tavern.

While Rice was thinking, Ms. Rosmerta had already taken four beer glasses from under the bar and filled them with golden-yellow butterbeer.

As Daphne requested, she made the standard foamy version. Correspondingly, there are also foamy and non-foamy versions; the former is almost entirely foamy, while the latter has almost no foam. This depends on the drinker's preference, but the price remains the same.

After Ms. Rosmerta poured the beer, she was about to call Daphne over to get it when the glass floated up on its own, steadily drifting towards Daphne's table. At the same time, several silver coins landed on the bar counter.

"Cool!" Ms. Rosmerta whistled, gave Daphne a thumbs up, and then went on to greet the other guests.

Rice and his friends, on the other hand, enjoyed their fresh butterbeer.

Because of the added butter, this beer is more energizing than regular beer. The butter neutralizes the bitterness of the beer, and the beer's flavor makes the butter less greasy. Rice couldn't believe how delicious this drink would be in winter.

Harry and Sirius, who was under the table, each got a beer, and the two of them, one human and one dog, drank together.

Just as the four of them were enjoying their beer, the tavern door was suddenly pushed open. Harry looked down the edge of his beer glass toward the entrance, and what he saw almost made him choke: Hagrid swaggered in through the tavern entrance, with someone seemingly following behind him.

Even though he had a very good relationship with Hagrid, Harry didn't naively think that Hagrid would tolerate him being there. So without hesitation, he took his beer mug, squatted down under the table, and put on his Invisibility Cloak.

Harry was startled, but Sirius was even more panicked because he caught a glimpse of his old friend Lupin following Hagrid!

If others couldn't recognize his big black dog, Lupin would be a miracle if they didn't. So Sirius didn't have time to think about why Lupin was there and quickly slipped into Harry's Invisibility Cloak.

Harry: ? ? ?

But now was clearly not the time to chase the enthusiastic big black dog away, so Harry could only pray that it would keep quiet.

The three brooms were almost full. Hagrid and Lupin, who was following behind him, looked around but couldn't find an empty table, so they had to share a table with the others.

Coincidentally, there happened to be someone they knew there.

As Hagrid walked towards them, Harry and Sirius's hearts jumped into their throats.

After the two of them sat down at the table, Harry could only sigh helplessly and move to the side a little to avoid being accidentally stepped on by the two of them.

"What made you think of coming here?" Daphne's voice came from the desktop.

"We're currently trying to breed a new magical creature and need to buy some things from Hogsmeade," Lupin explained their purpose.

Hagrid recently had a brilliant idea about breeding magical creatures, and after sharing it with Lupin, he received Lupin's support.

However, the project did not go very smoothly. They had run out of the raw materials they had initially prepared and needed to buy a new batch.

As to whether Lupin and Hagrid's actions violated the "Prohibition of Animal Breeding Experimentation" law, all four tacitly refrained from mentioning it.

"Those damn Dementors are finally gone, that's great." After drinking together for a while, the conversation turned to the school's security measures.

"But it will be difficult for Aurors and batters alone to catch Sirius," Lupin continued, picking up where Hagrid left off. "Instead, we need to think carefully about how to explain to them what we're buying today."

Hagrid hiccuped, the name "Sirius" igniting a fire of rage within him: "Filthy, stinking traitor!"

His voice was so loud that everyone in the bar turned to look at him.

"I must have been the last person to see him—besides Peter, he appeared when I rescued Harry from the ruins of James and Lily's house. He was pale and trembling, and then he tried to trick Harry out of my hands with that damned story of him being Harry's godfather—"

"Alright, alright, Hagrid, be quiet!" Lupin's face was grim. "Keep your voices down, everyone's watching us!"

Hagrid let out a heavy breathing sound, then said in a muffled voice, "I bet if I handed Harry over to him, he'd throw him off the motorcycle into the sea halfway there! And if I caught him, I wouldn't use a wand, I'd break his limbs one by one—"

"Enough, Hagrid, you're drunk." Lupin said seriously: there are children at the table, and what Hagrid is saying is really outrageous.

He struggled to lift Hagrid, apologized to Rice and Daphne, and then left.

Listening to Hagrid's conversation with his old friend, Sirius, under the table, slumped his head listlessly, while Harry froze when he heard "Godfather."

After they stepped out of the tavern and were hit by a cold wind, Harry realized that the person who had betrayed his parents and caused their deaths was actually his godfather!

Extremely complex emotions were brewing in his heart, and he walked blankly toward Hogwarts.

Rice tilted his head as he watched Harry's dejected figure disappear into the distance.

The wand slid from his sleeve into his hand, and he raised it, pointing it at Harry's back, and chanted, "Forget everything!"
