Ancient Wizards Return to Hogwarts...

Chapter 351 Rice, my scars are hurting, do you have any clue?
If Rowena knew Helga's plan, she would stare wide-eyed, and Rice would exclaim insane: to actually let a child who has just come into contact with the flow of magic open a domain is just too fanciful.
But that's exactly what Hufflepuff did.
After sitting down opposite Cedric, the ground beneath Helga soon began to pulsate. At first, the pulsations of the two interfered with each other, creating a lot of "noise." Cedric frowned and even showed signs of waking up, but Helga quickly adjusted and changed her state, making herself follow Cedric.
Harmony was restored between the two, the fluctuations beneath Helga and Cedric merged into one, and Cedric returned to calm.
After successfully synchronizing with Cedric, Hufflepuff began to try to guide him little by little, and this time it was his turn to follow Helga's pace.
Each of the four founders had their own strengths, but Hufflepuff was the most skilled at teaching. If Rice and Rowena were here, they would be amazed and would practice on their own students when they got back.
After guiding Cedric onto the right path, Helga stopped guiding him and began to focus on Cedric's changes.
The two of them acted like a signal transmitter, causing the entire underground city's surface to tremble. Wherever the soil covered the ground, it began to slowly undulate.
The dungeon seemed to have come to life.
After a while, Helga noticed that the part of Cedric's body that was in contact with the ground had turned into mud, and she was overjoyed: Great, increase the force!
Guided by Helga, the soil beneath Cedric gradually climbed onto his body, turning him into a clay figure. If Helga were to close the domain at this moment, this transformation would be irreversible, and Cedric would become a clay sculpture. But how could she possibly do that?
Several hours later, Cedric was restored to his physical form, with only a thin layer of dirt covering his body.
Sensing his physical condition, Helga slowly closed her domain and finally shut it down.
Cedric jolted awake. Somewhat confused, he shook off the dirt and saw Hufflepuff sitting directly opposite him.
He then immediately recalled the dream he had just had, and he had a strong urge to share it with his teacher.
"Teacher, that's amazing! I had a truly incredible dream!" Cedric's eyes were filled with joy, and his voice was brimming with excitement. "I just dreamt that I turned into a piece of land. It sounds strange, but I really did merge into the soil and become a part of the earth!"
"Oh?" A flame of joy flickered deep in Helga's eyes. "What a wonderful dream! Can you share what you saw and heard in your dream with your teacher?"
Cedric, of course, did not hold back. He described in detail to Helga what it felt like to become the earth: every detail on the surface and underground could not escape his eyes. He could feel insects crawling in the soil and could also perceive the process of plants taking root, sprouting, and absorbing nutrients in the soil.
"That's why you've established a connection with the earth," Helga explained to Cedric why he had that dream, but she omitted the part where she had chimed in.
"How amazing..." Cedric felt as if he were experiencing magic for the first time. Helga Hufflepuff had opened a door to a new world for him.
He stood up and patted the dust off his clothes.
"By the way, why don't you try making a little clay figure?" Helga said casually to Cedric.
"Oh, okay." Cedric instinctively reached for his wand in his pocket, but Helga stopped him.
"Don't use magic, just stare at the ground and try to move the soil in the field."
Cedric: ?
This request is utterly absurd. Does he think that just because he looks at the soil, it will move on its own... and actually it did?!
Cedric looked at the ground and imagined the clay being molded into a clay figure. As a result, a chubby little clay figure actually popped out of the ground.
Cedric: ? ? ?
Next, he was surprised to find that he seemed to have established a special connection with the soil here—he could freely manipulate the soil to do all sorts of things, including but not limited to making the soil into various shapes, obtaining all sorts of information through the soil, and letting the soil carry him forward.
"Professor, this..."
"That's normal. The connection you've established with this place has created a resonance. However, it's limited to the soil here. Once you leave, your control over the land will weaken considerably," Helga continued, explaining to Cedric everything that had just happened and part of the reasons behind it.
She still hasn't revealed the most crucial part.
Cedric did not awaken the Domain as Helga had imagined, which was unrealistic, but he did successfully meet the prerequisite for awakening the Domain with Helga's help: resonating with something. He resonated with the soil in the Hufflepuff dungeons.
If this was something he realized on his own, then once he left the dungeon and returned to the surface, he could still apply this understanding to other places, resonating with the soil of other regions. Helga was like that; whether it was the soil of the Scottish Highlands, the permafrost of Northern Europe, or even the divine soil of Asgard, she could resonate with it. Cedric, however, couldn't. The more influence left by others in the soil, the harder it was for him to control. For example, the soil from when Ras and Helga sealed the Dementors together was completely beyond his control.
Cedric currently possesses authority over a small portion of the domain, but the gap between his so-called "domain" and the Helga Domain is as large as that between an observer state and a permanent member state.
Within Helga's underground city, he could be said to possess half a domain, but outside of it, he could only be described as skilled at manipulating soil.
Even so, it was still an astonishing improvement, making Helga extremely pleased.
"Come on, we've practiced enough for today, let's go upstairs for dinner!" She leisurely led Cedric away from there—no one remembered that their initial goal was simply to use magic to levitate themselves.
While Helga was giving Cedric special lessons, Rice wasn't idle either—a pale-faced Harry found him and wanted to talk to him alone.
Rice was somewhat curious, so he agreed to Harry's request, sincerely praying that it wouldn't be emotional counseling.
However, after he and Harry found an empty classroom and spent a short time alone with Harry, Rice noticed something unusual about Harry: his soul seemed somewhat unstable.
