Ancient Wizards Return to Hogwarts...

Chapter 487 Loki: Why is the dead Ravenk still chasing me?!

The smoke was mixed with the white fog, making it almost undetectable to anyone.

The young wizards who inhaled the smoke felt a blur before their eyes, then their heads slumped, and they drifted off to sleep.

Soon, the mass coma began to spread from several corners of the stadium.

A large number of young wizards fell into a sweet sleep, and only those wearing masks were temporarily protected from the effects of the smoke.

However, not everyone will quickly fall unconscious after inhaling the smoke; some young wizards are clearly more resistant.

They would raise their heads blankly, puzzled as to why they were suddenly so tired. They might fall asleep before they even noticed anything amiss, while others might realize something was wrong, but it would be too late to react.

In a few seconds or two, or even more than ten seconds, the little wizards would fall asleep.

Smoke mixed with white fog engulfed the students' stands and swirled toward the teachers' stands.

Now the problem has finally been exposed.

Snape jumped to his feet and shouted, "Everyone, hold your breath!"

The professors and principals around him cast bewildered glances at him.

Snape didn't bother explaining to them much, but simply told them that the fog was poisonous, and tore a piece of cloth from his sleeve to make a makeshift mask and put it on.

He had just put on his mask when he suddenly stopped and covered his left arm with his hand.

Karkaroff, his face filled with alarm, stood up from his seat, clutching his left arm, and shouted to Snape, "It's on fire—!"

A commotion arose among the professors and principals.

What had just happened was enough to put them on their guard. Dumbledore also stood up from his seat and drew his wand. His eyes, behind his half-moon spectacles, were filled with rage.

Whoever comes to Hogwarts to cause trouble today will pay the price!

The minor incident in the stands did not interrupt the duel in the arena.

boom!

Astoria used a spell to dispel all the mist around her.

"If you're hoping this fog will bring you victory, then I can only disappoint you," Astoria said coldly. "Now I'm going to get serious."

Hideaki Yamashita burst out laughing.

"Miss Greengrass, haven't you realized yet? I don't actually care about the outcome of this duel at all. If you insist, then it's no big deal for me to concede; after all, my mission has been accomplished."

"Mission?" A hint of confusion flashed in Astoria's eyes. She raised her head slightly, and what came into view was a thick white fog covering the entire stadium.

Astoria's pupils constricted sharply: Something's wrong! Even if the entire area is shrouded in thick fog, it shouldn't be this quiet, right? There's something fishy about this fog!

Recalling Yamashita Hide's words that he didn't care about winning or losing and that his mission was accomplished, she immediately had a general idea.

"How dare you cause trouble at Hogwarts! Professor Dumbledore is watching from the stands!"

Yamashita Hide laughed heartily: "You do have a good brain, but it's too late—"

Before he could finish speaking, he felt a sweet taste in his throat and suddenly spat out a cloud of blood.

It turned out that Astoria was chatting with him casually on the surface, but in reality, she had not relaxed her pseudo-domain at all. Finally, when he was smug and relaxed, she struck him hard, instantly breaking through his defenses and successfully disrupting his blood flow.

Yamashita Hide was severely injured, and the mist released from his sword could no longer cover such a large area. Within a few seconds, most of the mist in the stands dissipated, leaving only a considerable amount of white mist on the dueling platform.

Now, the events that had transpired in the stands could no longer be concealed, and the attack was officially launched.

Whoosh whoosh—

Dozens of spells attacked from all directions, landing on the faculty and staff stands and causing chaos.

"Avada Kedavra!"

Among the spells were many ordinary malevolent curses, as well as a few murderous curses filled with malice, one of which shot straight at Karkaroff's face.

Seeing the familiar green light and shadow, Karkaroff was terrified. He hurriedly rolled to the side, and was then hit on the head by a stun spell, instantly losing consciousness.

Snape looked sharply toward a spot from which the Killing Curse that had just terrified Karkaroff had been fired.

There stood a magic student, who, seeing Snape staring at him, grinned and gave him a creepy smile.

Then he stood up, his hair gradually disappeared, his nose collapsed, and his nostrils and eyes gradually became long and thin, and his whole face quickly turned into a snake shape.

Soon, a tall, thin wizard with a snake-like face appeared in Snape's sight.

"The compound decoction is a good thing, Severus." His voice was deep and cold, and as soon as he spoke, everyone present understood his identity.

Voldemort!

He disguised himself as a student of the School of Magic and infiltrated Hogwarts!

Voldemort's appearance surprised everyone.

Just then, Yuan Danxi, who was in the teacher's seat, also drew his wand, but the tip of his wand was pointed at Mrs. Maxim, who was standing not far in front of him.

A spell was released from the tip of the staff—

"Watch out!" Hagrid roared, lunging at Madam Maxim and knocking her to the ground. Yuan Danxi's spell grazed past them.

The two giants fell onto the stands, causing the wooden stands to tremble twice.

"Are you crazy?" Serafina shouted angrily after witnessing what had just happened, but Yuan Danxi did not respond. He just kept waving his wand with a straight face and also drew a katana. The combination of magical and physical attacks forced Serafina to retreat repeatedly.

At this moment, the masked wizards also rushed over from other stands, engaging the still-conscious professors and principals in a fierce battle. Spells flew everywhere, and the scene was completely out of control.

Dumbledore looked at the chaotic scene before him without making any reaction. He simply stood there quietly, staring at Voldemort across a dozen rows of seats.

Professor Enduru, the principal of the Vagado Magic School, stood beside him, his dark face filled with a solemn expression.

"Using white mist to mask the white smoke from incense is a clever idea. Was this part of your plan?"

Voldemort shook his head, not to deny it, but to indicate that he didn't know either.

All of this was planned by the Secret Order. He was simply given a bottle of Polyjuice Potion this morning and disguised as a junior wizard from the Magic Institute to blend into the crowd of spectators.

To be honest, if it weren't for Polaris's strict orders, he would have made his move long ago, instead of waiting until now.

"This tobacco uses Vagabond spices..." Dumbledore turned to Nduru. "Professor Nduru, do you have anything to explain?"

"Huh? This... I don't know—" Professor Enduru raised his arm halfway through his sentence, but before his magic could take effect, he was sent flying backward, rolling all the way from the audience seats to the dueling platform below, unconscious.

Dumbledore's expression remained calm and composed. Killing a magic school headmaster who was theoretically his equal in status seemed like a trivial matter.

The next second, all the dozen or so incense burners hidden in the Quidditch pitch exploded, scattering their spices all over the ground, and could no longer emit the soporific white smoke.

When Dumbledore was dealing with these "trivial matters," Voldemort made no attempt to stop him.

Just as Dumbledore finished what he was doing, a muffled thud came from the dueling arena below—Astoria slammed Yamashita Hide to the ground like trash.

Defeating her opponent wasn't the end of it; she clenched her fist tightly, and a large cloud of red mist burst out from Yamashita Hide's body, causing him to deflate instantly.

Astoria actually drew all the blood out of his body!

She raised her head, her beautiful eyes filled with coldness.

She felt she could no longer control her murderous intent.

These reckless fools actually dared to cause trouble at such a grand ceremony! Today, we'll show them the prowess of Hogwarts' younger generation!

"Miss Greengrass—" Professor Flitwick was stunned.

He hadn't expected this Slytherin girl to be so murderous. Facing an enemy who was already incapacitated, she killed him without the slightest hesitation.

"Professor Flitwick, Hogwarts is being invaded. Are you going to stand idly by?" Astoria turned to Professor Flitwick.

Professor Flitwick paused for a moment.

"I--"

"Please go and support Professor McGonagall. I also want to contribute to protecting the school as a member of Hogwarts." Astoria gathered Yamashita Hide's blood in front of her, forming a blood-red shield. Then she raised her head, stomped her feet on the ground, and flew directly towards the faculty seating area where the battle was most intense.

Professor Flitwick felt his head spinning. After a two-second silence, he looked at the mummified corpse of Yamashita Hideki on the ground and sighed.

"At least clean up the mess..." He pulled out his wand and chanted at Yamashita Hide's corpse, "Shatter to pieces!"

Instantly, Yamashita Hide's body was blown to smithereens, leaving no trace of his remains.

Now there's no evidence left, making it foolproof.

Professor Flitwick smiled with satisfaction: even if the Ministry of Magic investigated after the war, as long as Astoria kept quiet, no one could prove that she killed Yamashita Hide.

If Astoria knew what Professor Flitwick was thinking, she would only smile dismissively: "Anyone who dares to invade Hogwarts, which is guarded by Dumbledore, is no ordinary dark wizard. We must strike hard! Such a person should be killed without explanation."

After she and Flitwick left, the dueling arena became empty.

Dumbledore glanced at the empty dueling arena, then leaped off the faculty stands and landed lightly on the arena.

Voldemort followed closely behind, flying through the air like a giant bat and also into the dueling arena.

For him, the Secret Order's plans were out of the question; all he wanted was to defeat Dumbledore here, in front of countless witnesses.

In the past, he had never been confident of defeating Dumbledore. But now he was terrifyingly strong, and Dumbledore was certainly no match for him.

Voldemort seems to have forgotten the pain of being brutally killed and stripped of his spellcasting abilities by the mysterious powerful being.

Anyway, that person definitely wasn't Dumbledore. He'd deal with Dumbledore first, and then find a way to get revenge on that person.

"Tom, it's quite a surprise to see you here today." On the dueling platform, Dumbledore didn't rush to fight Voldemort, but chatted with him like an old friend.

"You've encountered plenty of unexpected things," Voldemort said with a sarcastic smile. "This 'Grand Ceremony' today was also unexpected, wasn't it?"

"Indeed," Dumbledore nodded. "I have indeed become a bit complacent."

He glanced around and didn't see Professor White or Professor Arius, nor was Godric.

Clearly, the battleground isn't just the Quidditch pitch.

"You're just old." Voldemort pointed out Dumbledore's biggest problem without any mercy.

He was too old, and his energy had declined drastically. Even though his magical abilities remained, he could no longer be as attentive to everything as he had been in his youth.

"If I were you, I wouldn't let so many suspicious people into Hogwarts." Voldemort tried to shake Dumbledore's mind and make him reveal a weakness.

However, he miscalculated.

"You don't understand at all, Tom. Whether these people come in or not makes no difference. Your plot was doomed from the start." Dumbledore gripped the handle of his wand. "It's time to settle things between you and me."

call!

The dueling arena was engulfed in flames, and Dumbledore used a wall of fire to separate the battlefield, determined to finish off Tom Riddle here.

This was an obligation he had been belated for many years.

"Just what I wanted!" Voldemort's lips curled into a cruel smile, and the shadow beneath his feet grew darker and deeper, its range expanding rapidly.

"Professor Dumbledore, it's time to experience what death is!" Voldemort launched an attack on Dumbledore.

……

Loki had reached the depths of Hogwarts' dungeons when a wall blocked his way.

After facing the wall for a while, the stone wall gradually disappeared.

He successfully broke the seal on the stone wall.

"Thank goodness I used that guy's body, otherwise I would have wasted even more time." Loki congratulated himself on his choice back then as he strode quickly toward the depths of the dungeon.

After walking a few hundred steps, he suddenly stopped, because he saw a female corpse sitting at the foot of the stone wall in front of him, dressed in a sky-blue robe.

After carefully examining the woman's face for a moment, Loki was overjoyed: This person looks a lot like that Ravenclaw!

So she actually died under this seal?

Loki felt a sense of relief.

It's certain that three of the four people are dead, and although the body of the remaining Hufflepuff has not been found, it's highly likely that he's also dead.

Now absolutely no one can stop his plan!

Just then, the dried-up corpse on the ground suddenly twisted its neck and looked in Loki's direction.

Loki: ?

The next second, several incredibly powerful wind blades swept towards him.

Loki: !!!

The painful memories of that year resurfaced in his mind, and without any hesitation, he immediately dashed into the depths of the dungeon.

Ravenclaw's body followed closely behind, prompting him to unleash a torrent of curses.

"Damn it, why is that dead Ravenclaw still chasing me?"
