Ancient Wizards Return to Hogwarts...

Chapter 508 Godricon Barton and Helga Sprout

Chapter 508 Godric Longbottom and Helga Sprout

What caught Rice's eye was a young yet familiar face.

The red hair and rugged face instantly caught Rice's eye: Damn, how come this person looks so much like a young Godric?

This face was like glue, firmly attaching Rice's feet to the front of the carriage.

The people in the carriage quickly noticed the uninvited guest standing at the door, and their expressions turned serious, as if the person standing outside was not a person, but a fiery dragon with a fierce look on its face.

Looking at the wary faces in the carriage, Rice clicked his tongue, wanting to complain: Why did he feel like an enemy of Gryffindor? This was really too absurd.

But he still opened the carriage door because he needed to talk to the man who looked exactly like Godric.

He had a strange premonition and a bold guess about the identity of the familiar red-haired youth.

Besides the red-haired youth, the other two people in the box were "old acquaintances": Harry Potter, Ginny Weasley, and Luna Lovegood.

Upon seeing him, Harry spoke first, asking in a defiant tone, "What's wrong? What's the matter?"

"It's none of your business. I just want to talk to him." Harry's tone annoyed Rice, but he managed to suppress his displeasure and maintain a calm demeanor.

He pointed to the red-haired youth, indicating that he had only come here for him.

Upon hearing that Rice wanted to "talk" to his friend, Haliten immediately stood up, like a mother hen protecting her chicks, and stood in front of the red-haired youth, sternly saying to Rice, "Rice Lint, don't even think about it! You have absolutely no chance of getting Godric out of here today!"

"Godric?" Rice's eyebrows shot up. The red-haired youth's name was "Godric"?

what!

He almost burst out laughing. The lingering gloom that had enveloped his heart after he transmigrated to this parallel world dissipated.

Godric is here too; we can just treat it as a vacation.

"Harry, I'm very busy right now and don't have time to beat around the bush with you. I'm telling you this very seriously, get out of the way, I need to talk to Godric about something very important. You can also ask him directly if he'd like to come with me."

Harry felt a surge of anger rising within him, and just as he decided to disregard everything and fight Rice directly, a voice came from behind him.

"Let me talk to him."

"Godric!" Harry called out anxiously after hearing Godric's statement.

Harry believed that Godric was completely coerced by Rice's threats and had no choice but to make such a decision.

"It's nothing, just a quick chat." Godric seemed completely unconcerned, simply pushing Harry aside and leaving the box with Rice.

Harry tried to stop them, but instead felt a tremendous force that pushed him into a chair.

Huh? Harry was stunned: How come he hadn't noticed before that Godric was so strong?

Honestly, Harry thought that if Godric and Rice got into a fight, charging at them with his fists would be much more effective than exchanging wands.

Watching Rice easily subdue Potter and bring Godric out of the box, Pansy couldn't hide her excitement.

She felt that Rice was definitely going to teach the other party a lesson, and she was very interested in that scene.

However, Rice turned to her and said, "Pansy, you continue your patrol."

"Huh?" Pansy was very resistant, but Rice insisted, so Pansy could only walk away with regret.

Rice had hoped to find an empty compartment with Godric to have a proper chat, but he was disappointed to find that because the train had already departed and was now full of students, there was no empty compartment to be found.

He could only talk to Godric in the corridor between the two boxes.

"Name?" Rice asked in a playful tone.

Godric rolled his eyes at him, but still obediently gave his name.

"Goldrick Longbottom."

Rice burst out laughing.

"Goldrick Longbottom... Longbottom, what a nice name, that's an interesting name." Rice's eyes narrowed to slits. "I thought you'd be surnamed Gryffindor."

Godric stared at his friend with a speechless look.

"I'm sorry to disappoint you, but that's not true at all."

Rice nodded.

This was not unexpected for him, because in his own case, he had replaced a character in a parallel world. His own existence "distorted" the character, allowing him to retain his own name and face.

He replaced Malfoy, while Godric clearly replaced Neville.

Neville Longbottom became Godric Longbottom.

"They seem very worried about you." Rice turned his head and saw Harry and Ginny standing in front of the carriage window, watching him and Godric talk nervously.

"They're all good kids, but they seem to have a deep prejudice against you. Never mind that, I'll explain to them later. Salazar, I'm still completely confused, are we going to never be able to go back?"

"First, please call me Rice; second, we can definitely go back, but the specific way is hard to say. It might be after a while, until the wishing stone's magic is completely exhausted—"

Godric frowned.

He didn't really like the feeling of not being able to control his own destiny.

"Are we just going to sit here like idiots? What if its magic never runs out? I think Helga and Rowena have probably been sent in too. What about Hogwarts? Zeus is still there!"

"Zeus doesn't have the guts," Rhys said calmly. "He should have realized after casting the spell that the stone couldn't hold us. To clash with Hogwarts under these circumstances would be suicidal. We're only temporarily exiled, not permanently sealed away."

Godric was much more at ease with his old friend's words.

He muttered that if Zeus hadn't taken the opportunity to attack Hogwarts, they wouldn't have had a good chance to deal with Him when they got back.

"Isn't this a good thing? A new order is bound to be formed." Rice did not feel any regret because of this.

"Let's find Helga and Rowena first. We need to hurry up and meet up so we can figure out how to speed up the consumption of the Wishing Stone's magic."

Godric nodded, but when he was about to patrol the car with Rice, Rice refused his offer.

Rice pointed behind Godric, gesturing for him to look back.

When Godric turned around, Rice walked away quickly.
