Chapter 525 Godric and Salazar's Fated Battle (Bonus Chapter for Baili Tongyun!)

Dumbledore has been in a coma since returning from Azkaban, and Madam Pomfrey and Professor Snape have been doing their best to treat him. However, Dumbledore is simply too old, and the great battle has taken a heavy toll on him; whether he will ever wake up again remains uncertain.

Godric made the decision.

He headed toward Dumbledore's office, where he was to retrieve two items that rightfully belonged to him.

As a result, he was blocked by two large, ugly stone beasts. He needed a password to enter the principal's office.

"Let me think... Dragon Heart?"

The stone beasts guarding the gate remained unmoved.

Godric sighed: Sure enough, after a thousand years, the password here has long been changed.

But it doesn't matter!

Godric knew that the stone beast had a magical little back door, which he had left himself years ago.

"Make way, I'm here to retrieve something for the great Salazar Slytherin!" Godric glanced around to make sure no one was in the corridor before uttering this magical command.

This is the secret door he left behind; "Salazar Slytherin" can be replaced with the name of any of the founders other than himself.

He had intended to find an opportunity to say the password to Salazar back then, but unfortunately, he never got the chance to do so.

To Godric's surprise, the two stone beasts showed no sign of moving, as if he had just told a boring joke.

Godric: ?

"How is this possible?!" He carefully examined the stone statue, unable to understand why things had turned out this way.

Could it be that the spell secretly left behind a thousand years ago has lost its power?

Just as Godric was puzzled, he heard footsteps. He turned around and saw Professor McGonagall.

"Mr. Longbottom, what are you doing here?" Despite being extremely tired, Professor McGonagall still mustered her energy to question the student in front of her.

Hogwarts is not destroyed and is still functioning normally!

"I need to get into the Headmaster's office. I need the Sorting Hat and the Gryffindor sword inside," Godric answered truthfully, and Professor McGonagall's brow furrowed immediately.

She felt that the young wizard in front of her was being completely unreasonable, or even worse, taking advantage of her misfortune.

Her face darkened, and she was about to reprimand Godric and tell him to leave when Godric said something that shocked her to the extreme.

"Professor, I'm going to fight Salazar to the death. This is our destiny battle, and you can't stop me."
