Chapter 548 The Final Chapter (The End)

After killing the ancient god who had fallen behind, Rice looked at the empty sky in front of him and could only sigh that these guys had run pretty fast.

"Salazar, Rowena, you two stay here in case they come back. Godric and I will go help the children."

Rice did not object to Helga's proposal.

The two were also very efficient; before lunchtime, they had killed the two monsters, Iphamoni and Busteron, who were causing trouble.

Compared to those evil spirits in their physical form, it is much more difficult for evil spirits with physical bodies to escape into the underworld.

After returning to Hogwarts with the younger generation, Helga gestured for the children to go back to the castle first, as they had some things to discuss.

"I've made a decision," Helga said seriously.

Rice, Godric, and Rowena all looked at her.

"I'm going to enter the Underworld and completely resolve the problem of evil spirits." Helga's eyes hardened. "The Underworld needs to be 'cleaned up'."

"But the evil spirits in the underworld aren't as fragile as they were just now," Godric tried to persuade Helga to be more rational.

The problems in the underworld are very difficult. Given their current state, they are very hard to handle.

"That's easy." Helga gave a bright smile.

A hint of confusion flashed in Godric's eyes, while Rowena and Rice's eyes widened—they had already guessed Helga's thoughts.

Helga extended a finger and gently touched his chest.

A wisp of magic pierced through her chest and struck her heart.

The next second, her breath died down. A few seconds later, her life force had completely disappeared.

Godric was horrified. He instinctively took a step forward, trying to save his old friend and save her life, but Rowena and Rice intervened and stopped him.

"You can't stop her. For people like us, dying isn't difficult enough, is it? Besides, in this day and age, our definition of life and death has probably changed somewhat," Rice sighed and advised.

"What we need to do is find a way to help her," Rowena added.

"Help her..." A thoughtful look flashed in Godric's eyes.

He vaguely knew what he should do.

"Is an hour enough?" Rice asked his two old friends.

"That's enough."

"Fifteen minutes is enough!"

The three of them immediately sprang into action.

An hour later, the three met again on the lawn outside Hogwarts Castle. This time, however, Daphne, Astoria, Hermione, and Cedric also came along.

All four of them wore expressions of unease, and Cedric's eyes were particularly swollen.

"Alright, don't be sad. We're just existing in this world in a different way, which is good for the entire magical world. And in the current situation, it's the same as us settling in a different country—would you really be sad because your friend moved to France to live permanently?" Rice rarely offered the children a few words of comfort, trying to help them think more positively.

"The thought that you don't have to eat British food makes me so envious I could cry," Astoria said, suppressing her surging emotions and forcing a witty remark.

"Haha!" Rice laughed, and Rowena and Godric laughed along with him.

"Take this and keep it safe. Don't lose it." Rowena handed her crown to Hermione, then whispered in her ear, "I've hidden a mirror called Eris in the Hogwarts schoolyard. You can study it when you miss me in the future."

Godric hesitated for a moment, then walked up to Daphne under Rice's gaze and handed her the Sorting Hat.

"Ahem... You can keep this for me. Of course, if you find it troublesome, you can give it to Dumbledore, he'll know what to do with it—by the way, wear it when you're feeling upset or bored."

Rice handed Helga's golden pot to Cedric, secretly thinking that Helga had left in such a hurry that he had to do even this for her.

"In the future... um... I'll find a way to pass on your message, so you don't need to worry too much, Diggory."

Cedric glanced at Rice blankly.

Rice, on the other hand, was busy passing on his "legacy" to his two apprentices.

"Astoria, keep this staff safe."

"This leather bag contains some things I've accumulated. You can keep it and use it as you like; I probably won't need it anymore."

"besides……"

Daphne watched longingly as Astoria received one item after another from Rice, but Rice seemed to have no intention of giving her anything in return.

Finally, Rice finished handing over the reins to Astoria, then walked up to Daphne and handed her a small bag.

"Don't open it yet." He winked at her.

"As for the future... well, I'm different from a few idiots, you'll see when the time comes."

"Alright, I called you all here to tell you some things. Now that I've finished, see you again in a few days."

Before the four juniors could say anything, Rice and his two companions knocked them unconscious.

"So what did you give little Daphne?" Godric asked, extremely curious.

"It's a secret," Rice said, not wanting to elaborate.

……

When Daphne and the others awoke again, Rice and his companions were gone. Only four small mounds remained on the edge of the Forbidden Forest and the shore of the Black Lake.

Daphne and the other three fell silent. They didn't know what to say, and because the three of them had left so gracefully and quickly, they couldn't even feel any negative emotions.

"So what did Rice leave you?" Astoria looked at Daphne, equally curious.

Daphne opened the package and took out a gleaming silver sword.

Astoria, Daphne: ? ? ?

After that Christmas, the founder of Hogwarts, along with two professors and one student, vanished. With very few exceptions, no one knows where they went.

Later, Athena brought news to "a very few people": four extremely powerful beings suddenly appeared in the underworld, successfully unified the underworld, and then divided it into four parts.

The first is someone who reveres courage, even though courage sometimes turns into war and killing.

The second is the existence of praise for wisdom, even though sometimes wisdom can turn into lies and deception;

The third being possesses a heart full of love; He loves everything in the underworld equally, like a loving mother.

The fourth being is the most special. He possesses the courage of the first, the wisdom of the second, and the love of the third. He is omniscient, omnipotent, and yet acts as He pleases, completely unrestrained.

"Even the evil spirits of the underworld find the last being too troublesome," Athena shrugged and said to Daphne and Astoria in front of her.

She deliberately kept the two sisters behind after the Defense Against the Dark Arts lesson, so that she could relay the news of the four beings to their successors as soon as possible.

The Greengrass sisters looked at each other, feeling as if they wanted to say something but couldn't get the words out.

"I'll take this as a compliment for now." A familiar voice rang out at the classroom door.

Daphne and Astoria turned their heads in shock, only to see Rice leaning against the doorframe, looking at them sideways.

"Rice, you're not—"

"Like I said, I'm not like those three idiots. They couldn't even think of it when Professor White's office had so much stock... I just couldn't be bothered to remind them!"

"Slytherin, five points deducted for insulting a professor." A voice rang out behind Rice; it was Godric.

Clearly, he had also received Helga's reminder in the underworld and had come up with an even better idea.

"Deduct twenty points. Five points for insulting his teachers, and the remaining fifteen points for leaking Gryffindor's secrets?" Rowena's voice drifted over, accompanied by Helga's laughter.

"You guys aren't—Holy crap, why are you still deducting points from Slytherin House?!"

"Huh? You can't? Oh, right! Ha! I forgot you're a student..."
