Chapter 249 With Dumbledore

After the Quidditch pitch classes ended, Saturday at Hogwarts was filled with tension.

Meanwhile, details about that lesson have also spread widely.

Can they fight freely?

And you don't have to worry about getting hurt?

To be honest, more and more young wizards are starting to look forward to taking Professor Luther's classes.

Why are many young wizards unwilling to learn? Because they cannot understand the importance of learning spells.

But Gino's new teaching methods were a revelation for the young wizards.

When you get brutally beaten by your opponent with spells, you'll hate that lazy bum who didn't take magic seriously.

So, after this lesson, the young wizards all underwent a strange transformation.

More and more young wizards were heading toward the library and Professor Flitwick's office for Charms.

Everyone was eager to learn more spells to defeat their opponents, and their transformation amazed the professors.

Even more outrageous was that a young wizard actually went to ask Snape how to concoct a potion that would make enemies have diarrhea from the smell. Naturally, he was severely scolded by Snape and had points deducted from his house.

However, this lesson also made the already strained relationships between many young wizards even worse.

Philch, who was in charge of maintaining order in the castle, was so busy arresting people that he was almost overwhelmed.

Meanwhile, many of the young wizards who had won the duels frequently visited Professor Luther's office to ask him questions about magic.

"Therefore, you must concentrate and focus your attention."

After instructing Harry, who had come to seek his advice, Gino smiled and saw him off.

Pushing open the wooden door to his office, he found Dumbledore standing outside.

"Headmaster Dumbledore."

Upon seeing this kind and amiable old man, Gino smiled.

"What brings you here?" The boy stepped aside, and the two acted like old friends who hadn't seen each other for years, without any formality. Dumbledore smiled and nodded, then walked into Gino's office.

The boy's office was simple and economical.

A glass of milk sits on the large desk.

The bookshelves behind him were empty, and in the other corner there was a metal bed.

This is Gino's office. Anyone who sees it will think that the owner of this house is an extremely simple and honest person.

"Headmaster Dumbledore, please have a seat."

Gino smiled and pulled out his chair to sit down.

He snapped his fingers lightly, and another chair landed opposite the desk.

"Professor Luther." Dumbledore sat opposite the boy, leaning back in his chair with some difficulty, and gave Gino an awkward but polite smile: "I'm old and useless."

"In my opinion, Headmaster Dumbledore is still going strong for his age."

Gino rested his chin on his hand, showing no sign of restraint towards this being hailed as the strongest magician of the century.

"What would you like to drink?"

Gino asked a question, which left Dumbledore speechless.

I'm used to asking others this question, but I never expected to be asked it by someone else today.

"Black tea bar."

Dumbledore smiled helplessly, and then he saw steaming cups of black tea appear out of thin air on the originally spacious table.

The old man picked up his cup and took a sip, his eyes slightly narrowed behind his fogged-up glasses.

He had never tasted this kind of tea before.

The doubts in my heart grew stronger.

"Headmaster Dumbledore," Gino said, taking a sip of his milk, his bright blue eyes gleaming. "What do you want with me?"

He disliked beating around the bush, and Dumbledore's visit to him clearly indicated ill intent.

Therefore, Gino chose to confront them directly.

"Is that so?" Dumbledore also noticed the impatience in Gino's tone.

He smiled and said, "I came to find you for the morning magic class."

"Practical lessons on the playground?" Gino smiled and clasped his hands together. "So? Is there anything the principal can advise me on?"

"This course can indeed enhance students' practical experience, but the consequences it may have on students, such as fostering a competitive and aggressive attitude, should also be a cause for concern."

Dumbledore carefully chose his words: "They're just children."

"Headmaster Dumbledore," Gino interrupted the old man, smiling as he said, "I know what you're worried about."

"You're worried they'll be seduced by power, and someone will become the next Voldemort, right?"

Upon hearing this, even the temperature in the room seemed to drop a few degrees.

Voldemort, a name that troubled Dumbledore in his later years.

A ghost that has haunted England for years, a name that terrifies those in the know.

"You don't seem afraid of him."

Seemingly prepared, the headmaster did not panic when he heard about Voldemort. He smiled and said, "I do have that concern, but what I'm more curious about is..."

With the same azure eyes as Gino, Dumbledore stared intently at Gino, trying to glean some clue from the boy's face: "Others panic at the mere mention of the name 'Rounders'."

"But you seem completely unafraid of him."

Dumbledore pressed Gino in an almost confrontational tone: "Furthermore, I have checked the World Wizarding Archives and found no record of yours."

"Including your name and your fabricated identity as a bard."

Dumbledore leaned forward, and as he moved, the surrounding air seemed to freeze.

A vast, invisible magical energy filled the room, causing the bookshelves to tremble and the red tea in the glass to spill.

"so what?"

Gino smiled and held up one finger.

The next second, a power far more terrifying and immense than Dumbledore's filled the entire room.

"Click click click!"

The bookshelves behind him seemed unable to withstand the immense force and crumbled into pieces.

Scattered wood chips floated and swayed in the air.

Dumbledore, sitting in the chair, stiffened.

He hadn't expected that Gino's strength was far greater than he had imagined.

The vast, ocean-like magic struck the old man like a heavy hammer on his back, making him frown and his expression grow increasingly grim.

"Headmaster Dumbledore," Gino held up one finger, "First of all, I hate being threatened."

"Because no one in this world can threaten me."

"Secondly, what is Voldemort anyway?"

"As long as I'm willing."

Gino snapped his fingers lightly, his expression relaxed: "He could die at any moment."

Hearing the boy's slightly arrogant words, Dumbledore gave a bitter smile: "No, you don't understand."

"No, I understand." Gino crossed his legs, one hand supporting his chin. "You mean Horcruxes, right?"

"You know about Horcruxes!?"

Upon hearing Gino's words, Dumbledore's expression grew increasingly grave; he realized he could no longer discern the boy's true identity.

Where did he come from, and how did he know about Horcruxes?
