Chapter 255 Rebuilding Krypton

"Splash!"

The sea pushed its surging waves to crash against the gray-black reefs.

"boom!"

A blur of motion swept across the sea, its tall, imposing body splitting the ocean in two like a sharp sword, revealing the seabed made of mud and sand beneath the surface.

"Whoosh!"

Clark jumped down and stepped into the mud and gravel. He walked towards the spaceship that had sunk into the seabed and gently grabbed the hull.

"Bang!"

Clark easily lifted the heavy Kryptonian spaceship, and carrying it on his shoulder, he walked step by step out of the sea.

Gently release the charred surface of the spacecraft, which had been rubbed black by the atmosphere.

"Gino, mission accomplished!"

Diana looked up at the sky, and in the next instant, the sea, which seemed to have been divided by an invisible hand, suddenly closed and reconnected.

Everything seemed as if nothing had happened, when a figure descended from the sky, bringing with it the fishy smell of the ocean.

"This is the thing that fell from the sky."

Gino stared at the spaceship, raising an eyebrow slightly.

Gino sighed as his gaze swept over the faintly visible Kryptonian script on the spaceship. The boy looked at Clark with increasing pity in his eyes: "My friend, perhaps I should tell you this unfortunate news."

"I know what you're trying to say, Gino."

Like his friend, Clark, who possessed terrifying observational skills, also noticed the Kryptonian script engraved on the spaceship's hull.

This means that the one who broke into Earth was likely also a Kryptonian. In the past, Clark might have been very happy because he would finally have someone of his own kind.

However, after experiencing what happened with General Zod, the young man realized that his own kind did not treat Earthlings well; in fact, they treated them horribly.

Therefore, upon hearing the news that Kryptonians had visited Earth again, both Clark and Batman's first reaction was to prepare for battle.

Old Coin Batman is hiding behind a harbor utility pole, seemingly lost in thought, but judging from his squinting eyes, he is likely plotting a major scheme against the Kryptonians.

"Gino, what do we do now?"

Spending so much time together had changed Diana as well. The dashing woman tossed her long hair, gripped her sword hilt, and said, "Don't you have a singer? Have her find the intruders, and we'll take our swords and kill the enemy!"

Well, Diana has come up with a solution.

"The Singer's current abilities are not sufficient to capture objects moving at the speed of light, Diana."

Gino sighed and shook his head helplessly: "If a Kryptonian is running at full speed, finding him is by no means an easy task."

The boy rubbed his head in annoyance. You could never guess how many Kryptonians actually escaped when that damned Krypton exploded.

"So what do we do now?" The female warrior tilted her head, having also developed the habit of asking Gino when in doubt.

"Let's search. There are four of us. If we search in four directions, we're sure to find it."

Gino's plan is somewhat rigid, but it is the only feasible direction so far.

Since the watchtower has not yet been built, the operation can only be carried out manually at present.

Hearing the boy's command, the group nodded and left, each exploring in a different direction.

....

At the same time that the Justice League was searching for the Kryptonians who had invaded Earth.

Smallville town.

Since the Krypton incident, the town has become a famous tourist attraction.

A raging fire broke out inside the Luther factory.

The firefighters, kept in the factory by Luther, stared in terror at the distance.

The fire engine was easily lifted by a figure, who then swung his arm and threw it out.

The huge fire truck roared into the sky and crashed heavily to the ground, igniting scorching flames.

"Get out of here, all of you!"

A hoarse roar shook the mind, and no one dared to stay any longer. They fled in a panic, leaving only the burning factory slowly burning in the red light.

"Crackling sound."

Flames strong enough to burn human skin swept across Hale's slightly thin skin, but could not budge it in the slightest.

The man twisted his neck, and his right arm emitted a deep blue light.

The next second, the surrounding scenery changed.

The man stepped out with one foot, landing on the cold tile floor.

This is the underground experimental base of Project Luther.

The sudden appearance of Haier really startled many of its researchers.

"How...how did he appear?!"

"Police! Guards!"

"Call the Justice League right now!"

People were shouting.

"Buzz!"

A flash of red light, like a beam of light slicing a watermelon, killed a man in a white coat.

His body was like a watermelon that had been ripped open, with "juice splattering everywhere".

Intestines and other organs were scattered all over the ground.

This horrific scene immediately triggered a burst of sharp, piercing screams from the crowd.

"what!"

The fear of death exploded in the crowd, and people swung their legs, running around like headless rats.

He ignored these mortals whom he looked down upon; killing them would not bring him any pleasure.

The man strode confidently toward the neatly arranged nutrient tanks.

His gaze swept over the emerald green color of the jar, and his brown eyes seemed to be able to see through the jar to the scene inside.

He didn't stop and kept walking.

"Snapped!"

My shoes touched the cold floor.

"clatter!"

Until it stopped in front of a metal can.

Haer extended her scarred right hand and gently placed it on the surface of the iron can.

He stared at the iron can with a complicated expression. With his X-ray vision, he could clearly see that the nutrient solution inside was soaking a pale face.

His slightly puffy cheeks still hinted at a resolute expression.

Hale paused, a hint of regret on his face: "What a pity, Zod."

"The once renowned and great general who made great contributions to Krypton now lies in this cold nutrient tank, a plaything of humanity."

"Did you ever imagine that you would end up like this?"

Haier patted the jar with a hint of regret: "But don't worry, your death was meaningful."

"You've shown me that even these insects have their strengths."

"I must be careful and cautious, defeat them, and then establish this place as a second Krypton."

"However, as a former colleague, I hope you can still help me out now."

The man clenched his fist.

"boom!"

He slammed his fist against the barrier.

The whistling iron fist easily smashed through the thick barrier, and the hand, as sharp and ruthless as a withered branch, gripped the corpse's neck.

Glass that can easily cut through human skin cannot harm a person in the slightest.

Hale stared at the corpse, which was only wearing a pair of black shorts.

Holding the corpse, frozen stiff by the extreme cold, Hale uttered the unfinished words: "I need to use your corpse to create a weapon for the most powerful superheroes on this planet."

"This can be considered revenge for you."
