Chapter 270 Shazam!
Chapter 270 Shazam!
This is a small town.
Gino and Clark pushed open the door of a tavern.
Even during the day, the tavern is kept dark by heavy curtains to block out the sunlight, creating a uniquely somber atmosphere.
Because this is a pub, in order to make money, it must create a depressing and dull atmosphere. When people are in a bad mood, they will use alcohol to numb themselves.
When Gino and a bewildered Clark walked into the bar.
"I'm here to inquire about someone."
Facing the many burly men present, the young man spoke in a loud voice.
"A thousand dollars will be awarded to anyone who can provide detailed clues about a boy named Billy."
Before anyone could react, Gino pulled his wallet out of his pocket and tossed Franklin off onto the bar as if it were worthless.
"Billy?"
People looked at each other in bewilderment, but soon someone else provided the information.
"I know!"
"He lives in…!"
People rushed to provide Gino with clues about the boy's home address.
...
"so."
Stepping out of the alcohol-smelling pub, Clark looked at his friend with a puzzled expression: "Why did we have to find a boy named Billy?"
"Because he's important," Gino explained, glancing at Clark.
"Our Earth is protected by a magical barrier."
"Together, they constitute the stability of Earth's magical energy; you can think of them as a shield."
Gino tapped his temple, glanced at Clark, and said, "If you were Hecate."
"What should you do?"
Clark raised an eyebrow; this time he understood: "Destroy the shield!?"
"That's right."
Gino nodded and said, "And Billy, this boy, has had some good fortune."
"He possesses a magical dimension called 'Eternal Rock,' which is one of the key nodes supporting Earth's magical shield."
"That's why I wanted to find that boy."
As he spoke, Gino looked up and gazed at the distant western suburbs.
That small house was where Billy lived.
...
What is the boy's room like?
The answer to this question came when Gino and Clark knocked on the door.
Pizza delivery wrappers are scattered haphazardly throughout the living room.
A sleepy-eyed black-haired boy rubbed his eyes, looking at the two uninvited guests who had suddenly appeared in front of his house with a puzzled expression.
Who are you?
Billy yawned. Normally, kids wouldn't open the door for strangers.
But Billy is no ordinary person; he recently received an opportunity from a mysterious old man.
He is now a boy with the wisdom of King Solomon!
No one can fool him!
"us…"
Gino reached out and pressed his cheek, removing the magic that covered their faces and revealing their true faces.
A blond boy with an expressionless face and a black-haired boy with a kind smile on his face.
"Oh, oh, oh!"
Billy's sleepy eyes widened at a speed visible to the naked eye.
He stared blankly at the two of them.
"Kee, Gino Luther, and Clark Kent!"
The boy screamed, "What are you doing in my house?!"
His legs were tense, and his whole body was shaking uncontrollably as if he had been struck by lightning.
Which boy didn't dream of becoming a superhero when he was a child?
Billy had fantasized,
And luckily, he succeeded.
He was pulled away by a mysterious white-bearded old man and inherited his power. He can gain powerful and extraordinary abilities by shouting Shazam.
But Billy still felt something was missing.
Although he possessed extraordinary abilities, people did not seem to recognize him as a superhero.
Because he didn't know how to be a superhero, but luckily the boy did know about superheroes.
That is the world-famous Justice League.
People always like the best member of every group, and Billy's favorite member in the Justice League is Gino.
Strong and outstanding, confident and composed.
This is exactly the kind of demeanor I admire in a superhero.
So the boy started searching online for news about Gino, although most of it was fabricated by unscrupulous tabloids to grab attention.
For example, some people say that Gino will go and rescue women who are being abused by their families.
So Billy also disguised himself as Shazam at night and went to some strange hotels to rescue the poor women who were tied up. But what puzzled him was that the women not only did not thank him, but were also very angry, as if he had ruined something for them.
All of this puzzled Billy greatly, and he wanted to know how he could become a real man, or rather, a real superhero.
And now his idol is standing right in front of him.
"Mr. Gino, I'd like to ask you how to become a superhero?"
"Billy, right?" Gino glanced at the boy, sighed, and said, "You can ask Clark next to me how to become a superhero."
The boy never considered himself a qualified superhero; all he cared about was weighing the pros and cons. To describe him as a superhero would be to call him a businessman.
Anyway, I would never do something like offering free favors in an attempt to persuade an enemy with words.
"I've come to see you today because of something."
Gino stared into the boy's eyes and said, "Do you know about the Rock of Eternity?"
Billy's face stiffened upon hearing Gino's words.
"I don't want to hide it from you, sir, but I know about the Rock of Eternity."
Billy had no intention of deceiving Gino, after all, Gino was the famous captain of the Justice League.
Gino nodded, smiled, and patted Billy's man on the shoulder:
"Then, take us there."
"If you perform well."
The young man didn't forget to paint a rosy picture for the little kid:
"Perhaps I can consider initiating a vote to allow you to join the Justice League."
...
The Rock of Eternity.
Similar to Constantine's Mystery House, it also belongs to the realm of mystery.
Without a guide, finding the Eternal Rock amidst the myriad magical dimensions, as numerous as the stars in the sky, is as difficult as counting the stars in the heavens.
This is a huge island floating in the void of the universe.
The gray, barren rocky ground was empty, with only ancient buildings made of old rocks in the distance.
"Shazam!"
As Billy shouted, a bolt of lightning struck the boy in the night sky. Amidst the electric shocks, the originally thin boy instantly transformed into a tall, muscular man similar in height to Clark.
"How is it!"
Shazam proudly puffed out his chest, revealing the lightning bolt badge engraved on his uniform.
"Pretty good." Clark smiled and applauded, while Gino ignored the two and stepped into the palace.
Inside the ancient hall, rows of strangely shaped and ugly stone statues are arranged on both sides, while seven stone chairs are placed in the center of the hall.
At the center of the stone chair is a gemstone that emits a silvery-blue light.
"This is the magic node."
Gino narrowed his eyes slightly and spoke before Clark could ask a question: "All we need to do now is wait."
