Chapter 102 Love Came Too Fast

Chapter 102 Love Came Too Fast

The film crew finished shooting on Friday, and the convoy returned to the Hilton Hotel. As many cast and crew members got out of the cars, all eyes were on a couple.

Having just suffered a heartbreak, Paris crossed her arms and caught sight of Martin and Eliza getting out of the same van, their fingers intertwined—a sight that irritated her greatly. She couldn't help but mutter, "You two are such a pair of scumbags!"

Before even entering the hotel, the two were already embracing and kissing passionately, oblivious to everyone else around them.

Menne came over to Bruce: "Your boss is quick on the uptake. He's got the prettiest girl on set."

Judd glanced at it, then lowered his head and walked towards the hotel. His agent had called him from Los Angeles to tell him that the film crew was a bit complicated and that he should keep a low profile, observe more and talk less outside of his regular work.

The crew had already figured it out: the guy was sexy and the girl was beautiful; they were bound to get together sooner or later.

Martin took Eliza's hand and entered the hotel, while Bruce, carrying his bag, prepared to go back as well.

His phone rang, and he answered it. Martin called: "Go book a hotel room, a long-term one. You probably won't be back anytime soon."

"Okay." Bruce went to the hotel reception, booked a new room, and couldn't help but curse, "You two are such a jerk."

The crew adapted quickly.

There are so many examples of male and female leads getting together while filming, and it's not uncommon for them to be single or married.

Couples on set are a common sight in Hollywood.

Upstairs, in Martin's suite, Eliza finally witnessed the zombie machine gun dance.

The petite blonde beauty was on the verge of death amidst a hail of bullets.

Once everything calmed down, Eliza took a shower, called Martin back to her suite, packed all her luggage, and dragged it to Martin's place.

Eliza straightened her clothes, and Martin, preparing to order dinner, asked, "Honey, are you hungry? I'll order something to eat."

"I'm a vegetarian," Eliza reminded her.

Martin called and specifically requested a vegetarian dinner.

Eliza left the bedroom and came over to kiss Martin, saying, "Thank you."

Martin pulled her over and wrapped his arms around her lap: "You have amazing talent."

"I think so too," Eliza said confidently. "I'm a very good actress; I'm a natural."

Martin is good at highlighting strengths: "I'm talking about this, the vegetarianism is on an astonishing scale."

Eliza felt uncomfortable and shifted her position, asking curiously, "How did you learn your zombie machine gun dance?"

Martin said, "It's also a kind of talent; maybe God or something like that likes me."

Eliza found it increasingly uncomfortable and quickly jumped off Martin's lap. Her back and legs were sore, and if she didn't rest, how could the target withstand the machine gun?

She held Martin down: "Don't do anything reckless. You promised to dote on your sister."

Martin said very seriously, "Haven't I given my sister enough love?"

Eliza thought she had said too much, so she quickly took out her phone to distract Martin: "Let's take a picture together, I'll post it on my blog."

Martin tidied himself up a bit, especially toning down his lewd manner, so as not to look like an old lecher.

He has a thousand faces, and in an instant, he becomes a sunny and handsome man.

Eliza moved closer to him, and their heads touched.

Modern smartphones don't have front-facing cameras, making it difficult to take pictures.

Martin suggested, "Let's use a laptop."

Eliza took out her laptop, placed it on the computer desk, and turned on the computer's built-in webcam.

Martin leaned in and put his arm around Eliza. Eliza rested her head on Martin's shoulder and pressed the mouse.

She nudged Martin, saying, "Give me your seat, I'm going to post on my blog."

Martin picked her up and put her on his lap.

Eliza was petite, really like a little sister, and sat on Martin's lap, opening her blog.

She turned back and kissed Martin deeply again before going to write her blog post.

"The most beautiful sister and the most handsome brother are together."

Eliza uploaded the photos she had just taken, then turned and leaned on Martin's shoulder: "Quick, think of something to write?"

Martin racked his brains, but couldn't come up with any creative ideas. He could only recall the old lecher's saying: "Eliza and Martin finally found each other, the perfect match for starting a fire, and from then on, their lives were ignited!"

"That's so dirty!" Eliza understood immediately, but her hands were already pounding on the keyboard. "But I like it!"

The blog post was published, and Eliza's phone rang within two minutes.

The agent called: "Tell me you're not joking!"

Eliza went to the other side of the living room: "I'm very serious."

The agent questioned, "Why didn't you tell me beforehand?"

"How can I know when love will come? How can I control when love comes!" Eliza said. "I only really decided to be with him a few hours ago."

She emphasized, "We get along very well, and I'm very happy."

There was a knock on the door. Martin went to get dinner, gave a tip, and placed the dishes on the table.

He looked towards Elizabeth.

Eliza shook her head slightly to indicate that everything was fine, and quickly hung up the phone.

Martin went over, put his arm around her, and asked, "Have I caused you any trouble?"

Eliza laughed: "It's okay, you're an actress too, you should know how troublesome agents are."

Martin held her close as they walked towards the dining table: "Agents consider things more comprehensively; it won't hurt to listen to their advice."

"What if he makes me leave you?" Eliza asked.

Martin pulled out a chair for her to sit down: "I'll let him know how perverted Old Brooks is."

…………

In the hotel coffee shop, Kim Kardashian, having finished serving Paris, sat by the window, admiring the Brisbane night view and enjoying a rare moment of leisure.

Bruce, looking all respectable, came over, pulled out a chair, and sat down opposite him: "Sorry to keep you waiting, Kim."

Jin's body showed few signs of artificial enhancement, and his smile was natural: "I'm early."

Bruce asked, "Adrian..."

Jin's smile grew even brighter: "Let's not mention him anymore, okay?"

Others may not know, but the person on the other side will definitely be able to guess.

Bruce nodded slightly and said, "Is Paris feeling better? I heard she's not easy to get along with, unlike Martin, that idiot. Although he does things impulsively and recklessly, he's a very kind person."

Jin didn't want to mention it: "Let's not talk about her, let's talk about your guy, he got the leading lady so quickly."

Bruce said, "Martin's father was Atlanta's most versatile old Jack, who once ran off with eighteen housewives."

Jin laughed again.

Bruce wasn't as subtle as Martin; he spoke directly and abruptly, "King, someone like Paris won't help you. You have no future following her."

Kim desperately wanted to become famous: "Paris promised me she would introduce me to high society."

Bruce asked, "Who was her former assistant, and where did she go afterward?"

Kim was taken aback. Paris had hired several assistants before her, and those people received nothing but a salary.

How many intelligent people, tempted by greed, have been misled by simple and ridiculous tricks, even deceiving themselves? Jin's hands unconsciously gripped the edge of the table: "I, I'm different, Paris..."

Bruce was a rotten person who did rotten things, and when you add Martin, who was even worse, you can imagine how rotten they could be together.

"Do you really trust Paris?" Bruce hadn't experienced the high-end circles, but he had seen enough rotten people and rotten things. The high-end circles might have more sophisticated ways of doing things, but the people's nature wouldn't change.

He shattered Jin's hopes and broke through the protective shell she had built around herself: "When I used to work, my manager always told me that if I worked hard, I would get a promotion and a raise. After waiting for two years, I smashed his front teeth with a keyboard."

Kim fell silent, recalling her interactions with Paris from the beginning. Although Paris held a higher position than her predecessor, she was still essentially still a handbag assistant.

Bruce's responsibility is to protect Martin's escape route, but in reality, he's doing the work of a cleaner, dealing with the mess in the entertainment industry, which requires more complex methods.

Kim felt that although he was an assistant, he came from a good family and was more prestigious than Bruce.

Bruce wasn't just after her butt; he also wanted to use her as practice.

In the style of the entertainment industry.

Bruce, seeing the crack open, said, "I suddenly thought of a way these past two days that can make you famous all over America."

Jin forced a smile: "I've auditioned for many film crews and made a lot of efforts, but this path is much more difficult."

Bruce said, "Not this one."

"What is it?"

"I haven't thought it through yet." Bruce stood up. "I'll come find you when I've thought it through."

Kim watched Bruce leave, unsure whether he was telling the truth or not.

…………

The weekend morning was unusually quiet. Martin, who had been busy until midnight, slept in late until Eliza woke him up with a kiss.

Martin reached out his hand, and Eliza grabbed one hand with both of hers, trying hard to pull him up. After pulling for a while without success, she huffed and puffed, "You're as heavy as a bear!"

"Are there breasts as good-looking as mine?" Martin kicked off the blanket, his strong body shyly emerging. Every muscle line was like an electric current, shooting into Elizabeth's heart, sending shivers down her spine.

Eliza bit her lip, reached for the thickest and longest bolt of lightning, and said, "Are you getting up or not!"

Martin rolled over and ran into the bathroom to wash up.

Eliza said, "Breakfast is here. Come out and eat when you're done."

After a while, Martin came to the restaurant and sat down at the table.

Eliza opened the insulated lid and said, "Try this, it's a completely vegan breakfast that I specifically ordered."

Martin took a few bites and, of course, praised, "It tastes very good."

Eliza smiled happily: "I'm glad you like it. I was worried you wouldn't."

Martin, having gotten used to the nice things, said, "I like anything you give me."

Although there was no meat, eggs, or dairy, the two, consumed by their passionate affair, still enjoyed their meal immensely.

Eliza asked, "It's the weekend, do you have any plans?"

Martin had already planned it out before going to bed last night: "Today we're going to the Gold Coast; I've heard the scenery there is beautiful."

"The two of us?"

"I'll drive, don't worry," Martin said casually. "Old Brooks wants to go feed alligators, the kind where he'd feed himself to them."

Eliza said, "You and Old Brooks don't seem like business partners, nor do you seem like ordinary partners."

Martin simply said, "Old Brooks saved me many times, we're brothers."

After breakfast, Martin asked for the car provided by the film crew, called Bruce, and then took Eliza to the Gold Coast, where they spent the night sightseeing.
