Chapter 209 Female Version of Cao Cao

Chapter 209 Female Version of Cao Cao

In late April, after Louise led the remaining crew to Atlanta, filming for "Wanted" officially began at the Gray Studios.

Martin's first scene was a fight scene, a fight scene.

In the film set, which was set up like an office, all departments were preparing for filming.

The actor who co-starred with Martin was a fat man with a big face and a big belly.

Facing Martin, he wore a fawning smile: "Hello, Martin, I'm Chris Pratt, a fan of yours."

This phrase sounds very familiar; Hollywood aspiring actors are all fans when they meet celebrities. Martin took the keyboard from the prop master, smiled and nodded: "Hello."

Then, he realized that the fat man looked very familiar. Upon closer inspection, he realized that it was a younger and fatter version of Star-Lord.

The prop master then said to Martin, "Be careful when you pick it up; most of the keys are loose, and they can fly off with the slightest vibration."

Martin understood and replied, "No problem, I know how to use it."

After the prop master left, Chris Pratt's chubby face came closer and said, "Don't worry about it, just type as much as you want on the keyboard. I'm thick-skinned and can take it."

Martin saw a reflection of his shameless self from two years ago in him and casually replied, "Film as usual."

"Don't worry, there won't be any problems on my end." Pratt knew that if he could be beaten by the male lead Martin, the character would have a chance to appear on screen and might even leave a deep impression on the audience.

Upon hearing the assistant director tell the actors to take their positions, he quickly said, "I'm going to get ready. Call me anytime if you need anything."

Director Leterrier looked in Martin's direction, and Martin gave him a thumbs up.

The script supervisor plays cards; filming begins.

Martin left his workstation, picked up his keyboard, and strode towards the door.

Parat got up from his workstation near the door, blocked Martin's way, and loudly recited his lines.

Martin swung the keyboard and smashed it down.

Parat leaned back in coordination, and the buttons flew everywhere.

That wasn't all. Martin picked up the keyboard and started smashing it all over the place.

Just like Chang Wei hitting Lai Fu.

Then, he threw down the keyboard, and before leaving, he gave the fat boss behind him the middle finger, offering a standard American greeting that started with the letter F.

"Great, this one's passed!" Having passed the first test smoothly, Leterrier was in a good mood and called out, "Continue with the preparations."

Parat, who was squatting, got up from the ground and shook his big belly vigorously, causing some number keys to fall out of his shirt.

The following scenes are all set in an office.

Pratt was even more of a sycophant than Blake Lively around Martin; he was practically ready to pull down his pants and ask Martin if he wanted his fat ass.

In the rest area, Menez, who had just shaved his head, said to Bruce, "I feel a lot of pressure from him doing this."

Bruce grabbed his shoulder and said, "When did we meet? What have you done for Martin, and what has Martin done for you? You can't compare to this idiot."

Menez was much more confident than before: "Yes, we are a team!"

Martin was in great shape on the first day of filming, and the crew took a break around 10 a.m.

He arrived at the rest area, took the phone Bruce handed him, glanced at the text message, and saw that Louise and Kelly had invited him to dinner together at noon.

An extra who was supposed to be a female clerk came to us.

This person has long blonde hair and is quite beautiful.

Bruce, worried that Martin might have forgotten, reminded him, "Your old partner from the zombie dancers."

Catherine hesitated for a moment, but still forced herself to come over and greeted him, "Hi, Martin, long time no see."

Martin remembered her; after all, they had worked together on a movie about horse riding and a zombie male dancer.

He asked in surprise, "Catherine, what are you doing here?"

I remember she left with a senior executive from Lionsgate.

"I...I'm a fool, stupid and dumb." Catherine looked at Martin, who was radiant and seemed to be the core of the entire crew, and couldn't describe the feeling in her heart: "The Lionsgate people stirred up trouble between us and lied to me that there was a project, but in reality there was nothing."

She looked annoyed: "I was too trusting. It's all my fault for letting people sow discord between you and Benjamin."

Martin didn't speak. It might be true that the Lionsgate people were lying to her, but were they trying to sow discord?

Catherine felt that if she hadn't made that wrong step, she might have made a name for herself in Hollywood, since Martin, who came around at the same time, had become a big star.

An opportunity, just one opportunity, and she could take off: "I was wrong about what happened back then, and I apologize to you."

Martin had long since stopped paying attention to such trivial matters, and waved his hand, saying, "What's past is past."

Catherine was secretly delighted and continued, "I also apologized to Benjamin, who recommended me to Marietta's agency, which got me the role in this production. Martin..."

Bruce reached into his pocket, found his phone, and dialed a number.

"Just do your job, that's all." Martin understood what she meant, of course.

Catherine paused for a moment, then said, "For the sake of our past, give me a chance."

Martin's phone rang. He glanced down at it and said, "Sorry, I have an emergency call."

Catherine could only watch helplessly as Martin walked away.

Seeing people walk further and further away, I felt very unwilling, but also helpless.

An actress who was originally on the same starting line has now run so fast that you can't even see her back anymore.

Martin hung up the phone call from Old Brooks as he walked down the street, then came out of the studio and stood in the shade to get some fresh air.

Bruce and Menez followed from behind.

A scooter stopped nearby, and a black man got off. He was bald, and his head was pointed like a cone, which looked very comical.

This person was clearly after Martin.

Bruce doesn't know him.

Menne recognized him: "He is Tyler Perry, a celebrity in the Black film industry, whose spring comedy 'Diary of a Mad Woman' grossed over $500 million at the North American box office on a production cost of $5000 million."

Taylor spotted Martin from a distance and came over. Before he even got close, he extended his hand and said, "Are you Martin Davis? I'm Taylor Perry."

Martin shook hands with him: "Hello, I'm Martin."

"I came here for a visit today and didn't expect to run into you." Taylor was quite polite. "I'm a fan of yours. I really like the Zombie Dancer and even visited the House of the Beasts. I was very impressed."

Martin, unaware of his purpose, politely remarked, "The Diaries of a Madwoman, a comedic masterpiece."

Taylor laughed sheepishly, "You've made a fool of yourself. It's just showing off my black talk skills, nothing special, far inferior to yours. Martin, you're the hottest star in Atlanta right now."

Martin mumbled, "I just got lucky and stumbled upon an opportunity." He then asked, "Are you from Atlanta too?"

Taylor said, "I moved to Atlanta from Louisiana when I was 12 and grew up in the South Side of the city."

South Atlanta is a predominantly Black area.

Martin laughed and said, "Amazing."

He had virtually no contact with the people in the South City. The only person he actually connected with was Boyet, the owner of the black bar across from the House of the Beasts, whose buttocks he had blown off with a shotgun and who was currently serving time in state prison.

Taylor was a very confident man. After a brief test with Martin, he handed him a business card: "We are both from Atlanta. Let's help each other in the future. I hope we will have the opportunity to cooperate."

Martin exchanged business cards with him: "I hope so."

Taylor got on the electric scooter, waved, and drove off.

Martin asked Bruce, "People from the South Side?"

Bruce shook his head. "I've never heard of him." He took out his phone and dialed Robert's number. "Let me ask."

After the call connected, they talked for a while before Old Bu hung up and said, "He used to not be involved in the acting circle in Atlanta. He wrote, directed, and starred in his own stage plays. Later, he went to New York to develop his career. Last year, he brought a group of people back to Atlanta and filmed 'The Diary of a Madwoman'."

Martin's sensitivity to Southtown far exceeded what normal people imagined. People who have done too many bad things are afraid that others will use bad things to get back at them: "Have someone keep an eye on him and see if he has any contact with Boyet."

Bruce called Jerome and Ivan, who was with Vincent.

Martin went back to filming; today's scenes were all focused on him, with no scenes featuring the female lead, Fox. Julie simply didn't come here.

After getting off work in the afternoon and removing her makeup, Parat was waiting at the tow truck door.

Upon seeing Martin, he immediately smiled and said, "Martin, do you have time? How about we go out for a drink tonight? It's on me."

Martin shook his head: "Not tonight, I have plans."

Parat's chubby face broke into a smile: "It's okay, we'll go again when you have time."

Martin nodded and gently patted him on the shoulder.

Parat's smile grew even brighter; at least Martin hadn't rejected his offer.

Martin made a phone call on the way back to his hotel. When he got to the elevator, he ran into Julie coming downstairs.

The latter leaned closer: "Teacher, I have a few questions I'd like to ask you."

Martin was too busy to be in two places at once, so he could only say, "Let's talk about it another day, I have something to do tonight."

Julie was very curious, but she didn't want to ask directly.

When Martin arrived in the elevator, she simply followed him in.

Julie casually made up an excuse: "I forgot my phone."

Upon arriving at the floor where the luxury suites were located, she deliberately walked behind Martin.

Turning into the corridor, the door to the innermost suite opened, and Kelly came out smiling at Martin, giving him a few meaningful glances.

Martin quietly gave a thumbs-up, indicating that he was ready.

Julie stopped in front of her suite. As she swiped her card to open the door, she glanced over there. The woman with chestnut-brown medium-length hair at the door looked a little unfamiliar, but she had been to that room before—the suite where Louise Meyer stayed.

The door opened, and Julie went back to her room. The last thing she saw was the woman passionately kissing Martin before they went into Louise's room together.

Julie leaned against the wall by the door, touched her chest with her hand, let out a breath, and her chest heaved violently.

At that moment, she felt that Martin was incredibly charming!

After Martin broke up with Anne Hathaway and became a bachelor, in Jolie's eyes, his masculine charm dropped by more than half. Later, he took on the roles of teacher and student, and his charm increased again.

Now, Martin has two female companions, one of whom is her old friend Louise!

Julie's legs started trembling with excitement.

Bachelors are nothing to her; she prefers to steal married men or men with steady female companions.
