Chapter 24 Intense Action Scenes

The new film was still shot on the same farm, but the location was changed from the plantation to the breeding area.

The film is currently titled "People from the City".

The script and story were not kept secret; not only the main actors knew about it, but even most of the extras did.

A young couple from downtown Atlanta arrive at the ranch and have a passionate encounter with several other young men and women on the ranch.

Martin plays a supporting character, one of the adulterers on the ranch.

The daily wage is $500, and the character shooting is scheduled for two days.

There were only three male actors in the cast with more screen time than Martin, and Martin shared a small dressing room with the second male supporting actor, Kyle.

Kyle was physically strong, not yet twenty-five years old, with a square face like a stone.

He arrived a little late and, seeing that Martin was a stranger, knocked loudly on the dressing room opposite Martin and said, "Buddy, I like to sit near the door, you go inside."

The fact that the other person was in the same dressing room as him indicated that they were of similar status, and Martin showed no intention of backing down: "First come, first served."

Bullying is all too common in America, especially since Kyle is quite big.

Kyle stared at Martin's head: "Do you know what I used to do? A professional English football player! I could kick a football to pieces!"

Martin learned to be a civilized person from Bruce in order to deal with similar situations.

He pulled his jacket back, revealing a gun holster inside in a civilized manner: "I'm a part-time actor, my full-time job is a street cleaner."

Kyle stepped aside and plopped down on the inner dressing chair, saying hurriedly, "I like to joke around and lighten the mood. See, we've reached an agreement now, the atmosphere is great, right?"

Bruce's theory of civilized people proved effective. Martin pulled up his coat and said, "Don't worry, I'm a civilized person."

Kyle was cursing inwardly. Couldn't they find anyone for the film crew? Were they using gangsters for the movie? But on his face, he put on a bright smile and said sweetly, "You're the boss, just let me know if you need anything."

The makeup crew came in to prepare to do the makeup for the two of them. Martin called Jerome over and asked him to keep the gun for the time being.

Because of Martin's relationship with Andrew, the Marietta Theatre Company got relatively well-paid background roles this time. The news will soon spread among the extras in Atlanta, allowing the company to recruit more new people, and Jerome will naturally receive more membership fees.

For the sake of future earnings, Jerome didn't mind temporarily working as a porter.

After finishing his makeup and changing his clothes, Martin was the first to leave the dressing room and go to the hay drying area, which was to be the second shooting location, to familiarize himself with the positions and prepare for the shoot.

Martin asked curiously, "Why?"

"Because I have a big head, a really big head!" Robert said seriously. "Haven't you noticed? In the entertainment industry, the bigger a man's head, the more promising his future!"

Martin replied earnestly, "Actually, my head is bigger than yours, so I have a brighter future."

Robert ignored him and continued, "Think about it carefully. Stallone has a big head, Bruce Willis has a big head, Russell Crowe has a big head, and Schwarzenegger has a big head too!"

Martin was unable to refute this, so he simply used his special talent: "Could your head smash the Earth?"

Robert muttered, "The Earth didn't do anything to me."

Martin patted him on the shoulder: "Buddy, for your sake, I've decided to stay on Earth."

"Thank you so much." Robert said with a wry smile.

Martin could tell that Robert was a little out of sorts, but it was commendable that he was able to control himself.

Some extras who have suffered together for years will do unbelievable things when they see their fellow actors get good roles.

The assistant director then arrived on set to give Martin and Joanna, the actress who had just arrived, advance guidance on their blocking and rehearsal.

As a pure love story aimed at women, Martin's handsome face and muscular physique are on full display.

For Martin, the play was very simple, with almost no lines.

In this scene, he only needs to lie in the soft hay to sunbathe, while Joanna hides in the distance to spy on him. After he discovers her, she boldly walks over.

The rest is all about the romance.

Director Benjamin Calvin, in his thirties, is a graduate of the Savannah College of Art and sports a large beard, exuding an artistic flair.

He specifically gave Martin and Joanna some instructions.

A large crowd gathered to watch the filming.

Martin was adept at dramatic scenes, but made a series of mistakes when filming action scenes.

In contrast, Joanna, who is weak in dramatic scenes, is very good at action scenes.

After several takes, Martin was adjusting his mindset.

Director Benjamin roared, "Don't fucking tell me you have no experience at all!"

"Don't be nervous, relax." Joanna's eyes held a strange glint, and her tone was unusually gentle: "Imagine me as your girlfriend, put yourself in that role."

As filming progressed, Martin's condition gradually improved, and he even filmed some action scenes with great coolness.
