Chapter 240 The Bastard Trio

Chapter 240 The Trio of Scoundrels

As expected, a heavyweight model visited the set. Gisele Bündchen flew back to New York from overseas and couldn't wait a moment longer. She went straight to the set and dragged Leonardo into her trailer.

The sound of arguing came from the open window of the trailer.

The constant stream of screams was no less impressive than the filming itself.

Although the others were curious, they kept their distance to avoid being blamed.

There were only two scoundrels who brought over a simple table and chairs, sat in the shade, and argued while drinking iced cola.

Only Martin and Jack Nicholson would do something so shameless and despicable.

"A piece of trash like you, throwing a party with a dozen female models?" Gisele Bündchen wouldn't be furious if it were Leonardo DiCaprio with other women, but he's involved with models from her own agency, and some of those bitches are even bragging about it in the modeling world. How could she tolerate that?

She unleashed a Brazilian roar: "Your thing looks like the Titanic, but it's not even as good as an octopus. Aren't you ashamed?"

Leonardo was so angry his hair was practically standing on end: "Shut up, stop fucking slandering me!"

Not far from the window, Martin picked up an iced Coke and raised it to the old bastard: "Giselle's words are worth a drink."

Nicholson, afraid the people inside wouldn't hear, clinked bottles loudly with Martin: "A toast to Leo's Titanic!"

Martin took a sip of his Coke and said, "Those little bitches sold Leo out."

Nicholson said, "If the opportunity is right, they'll sell you anyway."

Martin scoffed, "I'm a happy bachelor, what am I afraid of them!"

Listening to the argument inside, Nicholson said, "Leo is such a coward. He's all talk and no action. He keeps threatening to break up, but he just drags his feet."

Martin could see clearly that Leonardo had made up his mind to break up, after all, Bonson was 25.

He gestured: "Let's help Leo out, let's shout together."

Nicholson, that wicked fellow who seemed to thrive on chaos, slammed his fist on the table and shouted, "Come on, shout!"

"1, 2, 3!" Martin had already given Nicholson the countdown.

Nicholson shouted, "Leo, good luck with the breakup!"

The loud, hoarse gong sound carried for dozens of meters.

Martin, however, was laughing and didn't shout at all.

Nicholson pointed at Martin, noting down this mess, but wouldn't stop, shouting again, "Break up, go for it!"

He not only shouted, but also opened a parasol, under which a banner automatically unfurled: "Celebrating Leonardo DiCaprio's breakup today!"

With a bang, the trailer door opened from the inside, and Gisele strode out. She immediately gave Martin and the old bastard the middle finger, angrily spreading her legs: "You guys like messing around with supermodels, don't you? Come on! The supermodel's right here! Go ahead and do it!"

Martin and Nicholson immediately backed down.

No matter how shameless the two are, Leonardo still has to consider his reputation.

Giselle snorted and strode away.

Leonardo got out of the car, put his hands on his hips, paced back and forth a few steps, and pointed at Martin and the old bastard: "I must be blind to have made friends with such scoundrels as you."

Martin didn't hesitate to turn the tables: "You were the one who wanted to break up, and you asked us to be your witnesses! And what happened? We were looked down upon by your girlfriend."

Gisele Bündchen left, and he continued: "Leo, you must compensate me and Jack for our emotional distress."

Nicholson, of course, sided with Martin at this point: "If you hadn't invited us, why would we be so bored as to come and watch you two argue?"

As he spoke, he picked up a Coke bottle, clinked it against Martin's, and they drank the Coke together: "Come on, Master, cheers!"

Martin opened the icebox next to him, took out a bottle of Coke, and tossed it to Leonardo: "Either sit down and drink with me, or go get your girlfriend back."

Leonardo opened a Coke and emphasized, "Ex-girlfriend! She's my ex-girlfriend now!" He clinked bottles with Martin and the old jerk: "Celebrating my return to single life and my newfound freedom."

Martin raised his Coke bottle: "Congratulations on your return to happy bachelorhood."

The film crew returned to silence. Despite the media frenzy surrounding Leonardo DiCaprio and Gisele Bündchen's breakup, it didn't cause much of a stir on set.

As long as Martin and his two companions don't cause trouble, the production team will be fine.

This film has only one important female character. Often, having fewer actresses means less trouble for the production team.

Aside from trying to outdo Martin during filming, Matt Damon didn't do anything particularly special.

The outcome cannot be changed, and causing a scene on set would only incur Scorsese's dislike.

Since becoming single again, Leonardo DiCaprio has entered a new phase, and he's in top form during filming, often nailing scenes in just one take.

Even Scorsese believes that Leonardo's acting has improved to some extent.

"Do you know why you can't win an Oscar for Best Actor? Women are holding you back!" During lunch break, Martin, thinking of the vast number of young women in Hollywood, said to Leonardo, "Leo, give up those glamorous, cheap women, stay single forever, or turn to the arms of your fellow men. You can win Best Actor with this film!"

Leonardo could tell the guy had ill intentions: "You want to eliminate a strong competitor? I won't let you succeed." He suddenly realized the trio was missing an important member: "Where's that old bastard Jack?"

Martin didn't know either. He waved and waited for Bruce to come over before asking him a question.

Bruce casually pointed: "Meryl Streep came to visit the set, and Nicholson went into the rest trailer with her."

Leonardo DiCaprio scoffed, "One's over 50, the other over 60, and they're still so horny, shameless!"

Martin, however, had a brilliant idea: "Leo, last time Gisele Bündchen came over, that old bastard dragged me into messing with you, you haven't forgotten that, have you?"

Leonardo remembers Nicholson shouting "Good luck with the breakup!" from outside the window, and asked, "What are your thoughts?"

"Follow me." Martin found the props team and asked the person in charge, "Doug, I remember you prepared some firecrackers?"

Doug replied, "Yes, there are some. They're needed for one scene."

Martin reached out his hand, asking, "Give me a few."

Doug grabbed a handful of food, shoved it into Martin's hand, and warned, "Don't mess around on set."

Martin said, "Am I the kind of person who acts recklessly? Don't worry."

Doug glanced at Leonardo. Leonardo used to be quite reliable, but ever since this movie started filming and he started hanging out with Martin and Nicholson, he's gradually become unreliable.

The crew even gave them a nickname: the bastard trio.

Leaving the film set, Martin led the way towards the rest trailer, throwing a few firecrackers at Leonardo as they went: "Are you going to leave this thing alone?"

Leonardo had already pulled out his lighter: "I've done it a few times, I know how to do it."

Martin also grabbed a lighter, and the two of them tiptoed quickly toward Nicholson's rest trailer.

Twenty meters away, voices could be heard coming from the half-open trailer window: a vulgar Nicholson cursing Jesus, and another woman's voice calling for God.

The trailer appeared to be swaying slightly.

Martin, hidden behind a minivan, said to Leonardo, "Watch your tactics, follow me!"

Leonardo was intrigued and followed Martin closely.

Using the tactical maneuvers taught by Bruce, Martin quickly and quietly made his way to the trailer window.

Leonardo came to stand opposite him.

Martin nodded to him and whispered, "1, 2, 3!"

The two men lit firecrackers at the same time and threw them through the window.

Leonardo even imitated a line from the movie, shouting, "Fire in the hole!"

Bang! Bang—

An explosion was heard inside the trailer.

Although the area by the window was a storage area, the sound of firecrackers immediately startled the two people inside.

"ah--"

Meryl Streep screamed.

Martin turned and ran, and before Leonardo ran, he lit a firecracker and threw it through the window.

"Leo, Martin, you two bastards!" Nicholson knew without a doubt who would do such a disgusting thing. Holding a stick and pulling on his briefs with one hand, he opened the trailer door and charged out: "I'm going to kill you!"

He only saw Leonardo; Martin had long since disappeared.

With all his might, Nicholson threw the stick he was holding at Leonardo. Leonardo dodged it, lit a firecracker, and threw it to Nicholson.

With a bang, the firecracker exploded in the air, sending countless pieces of paper flying down.

Meryl Streep, wrapped in a blanket, appeared at the trailer door, asking curiously, "Leonardo?"

Nicholson added, "And Martin Davis."

Meryl asked in surprise, "You're having an affair with him?"

"I've slept with Martin, everyone on the crew knows." Nicholson pulled up his briefs, the old pervert standing openly in front of the trailer, and said, "I've given you face, from now on it's my business."

Meryl was not happy.

Nicholson bluntly stated, "If you want another Oscar, go ahead and fawn over Harvey Weinstein, I won't interfere, but I don't know that fat guy, why would I mess with that little pervert Martin Davis?"

He tapped his head: "I'm old. This isn't as hard as a Coke bottle. You probably don't know, but the gunman who got his head blown off by Martin Davis' Coke is dead."

"That's a downer, I'm leaving." Meryl went back to get dressed, then asked Nicholson, who followed her in, "Don't you want to win another Oscar?"

Nicholson casually remarked, "One is enough. Why do we need so many?"

Meryl said no more, put on her clothes, and left the set.

After changing his clothes, Nicholson didn't confront Martin and Leonardo. Instead, he sat on the sofa and began to think things through carefully.

In the afternoon, while Martin was on set filming, Nicholson quietly approached Leonardo.

"It has nothing to do with me, it's all Martin's fault." Leonardo betrayed his companion without hesitation: "He came up with the idea, he got the firecrackers from the props department, I was just following behind cheering him on."

Nicholson said, "I believe you." He had sought out Leonardo specifically for Martin's sake: "Leo, have you noticed that since filming started, that bastard Martin has caused a lot of mess, from the yacht bachelor party to your breakup with Gisele, and now Meryl and I almost got cramps and stuck—it's all because of him messing things up behind the scenes."

Leonardo thought for a moment: "He's always the one who makes a fool of himself while we're the ones who embarrass ourselves."

Nicholson clenched his fist and slammed it on the table: "Let's find a chance to take him down together!"
