Chapter 267 Conflict with Pete
Chapter 267 Conflict with Pete
Not far from Martin's table, Bruce sat alone at a bar drinking beer. When he saw Pete and his two companions enter, he immediately beckoned to the waiter next to him.
When the waiter came over, he pointed to Martin's table and said, "Send over a dozen Coca-Cola bottles."
Bruce then took out his phone and called his two bodyguards. The two immediately went into the bar and found an empty table not far from Martin.
In case of any unexpected situation, the three of them can rush over immediately.
Bruce positioned himself behind Martin.
The glass bottle of Coke was placed on the table by the waiter. Martin turned his head to look at Old Brooks and nodded slightly.
Nicholson grabbed a bottle of Coke, opened it, took a huge gulp, and said, "Cola Cult, Forever! The cult leader is a bastard!"
Leonardo, not one to shy away from stirring things up, grabbed a bottle, clinked it against Martin's, and said, "Master, what do you want to do? Just say the word, we'll cover for you and cheer you on! If things get out of hand, we'll call the police for you."
Nicholson grinned maliciously: "Want me to call them over for you?"
Martin, holding a can of cola in one hand and pointing at the two bastards with the other, said, "How did I end up having friends like you?!"
That's what he said, but his mind was already working.
As the three were talking, Matt Damon nudged Pete and nodded his chin toward the hall.
Pete turned his head and immediately saw Martin. The man was sitting under the light, so dazzling that he seemed to have his own halo. The overweight Leonardo DiCaprio couldn't overshadow him at all.
"That son of a bitch!" Pete walked over first, his head feeling extremely heavy.
As members of the foot gang, Damon and Ben Affleck automatically followed.
Nicholson was quite excited: "Don't be afraid of them. If they dare to act recklessly, just do it! We have the double advantage of the Face Gang and the Cola Cult!"
Martin watched Pete approach, picked up the glass bottle of Coke, and took a leisurely sip.
Damon paused, thinking of something unpleasant, and quietly distanced himself from Petra.
The two just didn't like each other because they were vying for a role; Martin didn't do anything to his girlfriend or wife.
Keep your distance so that if any liquid splashes out, it won't get on you.
Pete showed no sign of stopping. He chose an empty table next to him and sat down, looking at Martin across the aisle: "You've crossed the line."
Martin looked confused. "Are you talking about me?" He looked around. "I didn't cross the line."
Damon and Ben Affleck then sat opposite Pete.
There are three people on each side.
"Who else but you?" Pete, thinking of Jolie and Aniston, was seething with anger and shouted a stern warning: "Stay away from her!"
The other person was being rude, and Martin wasn't going to play the nice guy either, so he deliberately asked, "Are you talking about Julie, or Aniston? Or... both of them?"
As soon as those two names were uttered, Peter jumped to his feet.
Martin, not daring to be presumptuous, also stood up.
Many people in the bar were looking in their direction.
Nicholson, that old bastard, had witnessed Martin's methods before and wasn't afraid of losing out, so he kept fanning the flames: "Guys, let's have a man's duel! Whoever backs down doesn't have a thing down there!"
Leonardo looked at Damon and Ben Affleck: "A one-on-one duel, the most manly way!"
Pete was in his forties, not a hot-blooded, impulsive young man. He really wanted to take action, but when he saw the glass bottle of Coke on Martin's table, he slowly sat down again.
A chorus of mocking, rabid whistles rose from the surrounding area.
Martin said casually, "If you're going to be a coward, just shut up. They don't like cowards!"
The moment Pete's butt touched the chair, he sprang up like a golden lion, lunging at Martin across the aisle, his slap resembling that of a husband abusing his wife.
Even the most mature man has a temper and a fiery temper.
Martin was prepared. He grabbed Pete's arm and pulled him forward, then kicked him in the shin with his big foot, while pressing down on Pete's neck with his other hand.
With a thud, Pete's face landed on the table.
Martin grabbed a glass bottle of Coke and pressed it against Pete's forehead: "I'm very sensitive to attacks. I might smash a Coke bottle over someone's head. You'd better not move."
The cold glass bottle pressed against his forehead, extinguishing the surge of heat in Pete's head and forcing him to recall the images of Burbank High School he had seen.
Bloody! Cruel!
Pete dared not move, because the gunman who had been shot in the head with a Coke bottle by Martin had died from his injuries!
He's dead!
Ben and Damon both stood up, only to find a man standing next to Martin.
Bruce stood guard beside Martin, holding a Coca-Cola in each hand.
The Grand Protector of the Cola Cult is no pushover!
Damon recognized the man; he'd seen him in a video from Burbank High School. Like Martin, he was a tough guy who dared to fight armed robbers head-on!
"Don't do anything rash." Damon pulled Ben back, giving himself a way out: "Who are we? Who is he? He's not worth it."
When Ben Affleck helped Harvey subdue the actress, he was an absolute powerhouse, using all sorts of coercion and enticement. Now, facing two men who had confronted armed thugs, he wholeheartedly agreed with Damon's words: "You're right!"
The person who was pinned down was Pete, not one of the uncle and nephew.
Damon said, "Martin, is it really necessary to make such a fuss? It's not a big deal. Let Pete go first."
The commotion in the bar had alerted the security personnel, and the manager was rushing over with his men.
Martin still pinned Pete down: "He attacked me!"
Pete roared, "You fucking messed with my wife!"
That bastard Nicholson didn't forget to loudly correct him: "Ex-wife, Aniston is your ex-wife!"
The onlookers were stunned. What's going on? And it involves America's number one sweetheart, Jennifer Aniston?
The manager hadn't arrived yet, but his voice had already spoken: "Everyone, everyone, don't fight! If you have a conflict, please resolve it outside!"
Martin looked at the manager: "I've been attacked." He looked around: "If anyone calls the police, please be my witnesses."
Nicholson, that shameless old man, waved his phone: "It's the latest model phone with a camera. I took a picture of it. The evidence is irrefutable. We can take it all the way to the federal court!"
Martin released Pete and shoved him out.
Several security guards quickly stepped forward and stood between the two groups.
Pete touched his cold forehead and flushed face, glared at Martin, and turned to walk out of the bar.
Damon and Ben followed.
Once outside the bar, Damon advised, "You were too impulsive. Don't confront him directly."
To be honest, Ben said, "You're no match for him."
Pete was nearly driven mad with anger by his own men, and he said fiercely, "This isn't over!"
Big Ben realized he had misspoke and quickly corrected himself: "It's best to do this to him quietly."
Pete rubbed his face hard, trying to calm himself down as quickly as possible: "I need to think of a good way to deal with him properly and make him lose everything."
Damon pointed to the cars parked on the side of the road: "Come to my place, let's talk it over together."
Inside the bar, Martin and his two companions also came out and got into the Cadillac that Bruce had driven.
Leonardo DiCaprio said, "I thought you were going to smash Pete's head with a Coke."
Martin shrugged: "A lot of people would come after me and fight me, and I'm not stupid."
Nicholson was still watching the video on his phone, saying, "I'm a pretty good photographer. The wide shots and close-ups were just right. The only downside is that the phone camera isn't very good; it's not very clear, but you and Pete are still recognizable."
He exclaimed, "Wow, you shot so fast, just like Leo's 11 seconds!"
"Shut up, you bastard!" Leonardo roared first, then asked Martin with considerable curiosity, "You didn't sleep with Jolie, and then you slept with Aniston, did you?" He gave Martin a thumbs up: "So you're a heartbreaker!"
"Your morals are truly appalling. First, you interfered in Jolie and Pitt's relationship, forcing them to break up. Then, when Pitt wanted to win back his ex-wife, you stabbed him in the back. You're a complete scumbag!" Nicholson had seen too much in his decades of life, and his guesswork, though seemingly unrelated, was remarkably accurate: "As the leader of this trio of bastards, I hereby officially announce the removal of your traitor title, because you are a true scumbag and a pervert!"
Martin gave him the middle finger: "I'm so damn grateful!"
Leonardo DiCaprio said, "If you want to sincerely express your gratitude, throw a party! Get a bunch of supermodels, no ones below Victoria's Secret Angel level, and if you don't have enough money, take out a mortgage!"
Martin had originally planned to remind them before leaving tonight to let their female companions try the Tiger Balm first, and then apply it to themselves.
Hearing what those two bastards said, he decided to shut up.
It's just a contest of who's the worst and who's the most twisted. We're all from the Face Gang, all members of the bastard trio, so who's afraid of who!
Martin warned the two men, "This isn't over yet. You'd better watch out."
Leonardo laughed: "It's been a long time since I've done anything exciting."
Nicholson grinned in a particularly sinister and twisted way: "I hate being bored. How could you let me miss something this interesting?"
Martin had an idea: "You old bastard, let me introduce you to a business opportunity. Your videos can sell for a lot of money."
Nicholson pointed at Martin: "You're a really bad guy, bullying people and then selling them out."
Leonardo DiCaprio elaborated on this using his own experience: "I imagine Martin Davis hadn't even won over Aniston yet, but he was already planning to cast her as the lead in his new film. Then news broke that Martin Davis was fighting with Pitt over Aniston, and the public outcry was immediate!"
Nicholson sized Martin up with a malicious glint in his eyes: "You even schemed against me!" Then a thought struck him: "Wait a minute! Martin, when you provoked Pete to make his move, you already considered what Leo said!"
Leonardo said, "Dude, thank goodness you're on our side."
Martin neither confirmed nor denied it, only saying, "It'll fetch a lot of money, Jack. Are you going to sell it or not? If you don't, I'll rob you tonight and steal your phone."
Nicholson, being the kind of person he was, wasn't about to miss out on such a good show. He said, "Find a seller!"
"No problem!" Martin shouted from the driver's seat, "Old Bu!"
Bruce picked up his phone, made a call, and quickly hung up, saying, "Half an hour from now, at the west gate of Bel-Air Bay."
Leonardo excitedly shouted, "Let's go! Let's go! I've never seen a deal like this before!"
Nicholson put on his sunglasses: "I'll make the deal myself. None of you are allowed to compete with me."
