America achieves both fame and fortune

Chapter 352 Let's get started!

Chapter 352 Let's get started!

A black, extended Lincoln drove along Coty Road toward the south hillside, with three bastards inside.

The eldest asked, "Leo, what gift have you prepared?"

Leonardo pointed at Martin and said, "Giving him to the star of today's party is the best gift I could give him."

Nicholson retorted, "This is my gift; go find someone else."

Martin interrupted, "You two bastards, you want to give me away, did you even ask my opinion?"

"Because you're the most hypocritical person," Leonardo scoffed. "You say no, but you're secretly overjoyed."

Nicholson agreed: "Leo, we've finally reached an agreement."

Martin coldly replied, "How could someone as principled as me do something as despicable as you?"

A bastard knows a bastard best. Leonardo DiCaprio once heard Martin say this after he was drunk, and he still remembers it: "You certainly have principles: no initiative, no rejection, no responsibility!"

Martin's mouth was as hard as his extra bone: "This is also a principle and a bottom line, so I'm a good person, and you two are unprincipled bastards."

As the car climbed the southern slope, colorful lights could be seen lit up in front of Olson's house from a distance.

The driver presented an invitation, and the Lincoln entered the mansion without incident.

Martin and his two companions got out of the car and entered the villa, where they saw the Olsen sisters, accompanied by Elizabeth Olsen, greeting guests in the foyer.

Elizabeth was overjoyed to see Martin and walked over without thinking.

Martin offered a gift, saying, "Happy birthday."

Elizabeth quickly took it, wanting to open it but holding back, and said, "Thank you."

Martin introduced the two bastards behind him: "Jack and Leo, you should know them."

Leonardo and Nicholson each presented their gifts, saying, "Happy Birthday."

Elizabeth accepted the gift with great excitement: "I'm so happy you could come."

Nicholson said, "I heard that you and Martin went through the Burbank incident together and helped some people. That's amazing. You and Martin are friends who have been through life and death together. We are best friends with Martin. We definitely have to come to your birthday party."

The Olsen sisters also came over to express their gratitude.

The other guests, mainly Elizabeth's classmates, were incredibly excited to see the trio of scoundrels appear in the hall at the same time, and they swarmed around them.

Elizabeth was surrounded by envious voices.

"Elizabeth, Leonardo and Martin Davis actually came to celebrate your birthday!"

"That's Nicholson, the Oscar-winning actor, my God!"

"Your birthday party will become a legend at school."

Girls around eighteen years old are at the age when they are most obsessed with celebrities. They look at Martin and Leonardo DiCaprio with stars in their eyes.

Elizabeth didn't have much vanity in this regard, yet she was satisfied to the greatest extent.

Which girl doesn't want to be the most popular person in the whole school?

Martin and his two companions fulfilled the children's request for a group photo, and then went with the Olsen sisters to the area where the adults were.

Most of the people here are friends of the Olsen twins. When the trio of jerks are serious, they can absolutely portray themselves as the most cultured and polite gentlemen.

Like the gentlemen of the British Empire, they have one set of outward appearances and another set of inner thoughts.

The party was nothing special: blessings, cake, wishes, and then a wild party.

Although some girls who were having a good time tried to seduce Martin and his two companions, the three of them weren't stupid and automatically kept their distance from those they didn't know.

There are countless examples in Los Angeles of people being forced to spend large sums of money to settle disputes.

After cutting the cake, Elizabeth quietly found Martin and spoke to him in a corner.

"Do you have any other plans tonight?" she asked.

Martin told the truth: "No, I'm going home after your party."

Elizabeth looked at Martin, and images of her time at Burbank High School flashed before her eyes.

From that moment on, Martin was her only hero.

Elizabeth said, "Go home and wait for my call, okay?"

Martin has always been a man of principle: "You can call me anytime."

Elizabeth smiled especially sweetly: "I've always remembered your number."

On the other side, Leonardo finished his chat and found Nicholson, quietly pointing at Martin and Elizabeth Olsen: "Something's not right."

"There's something going on." Nicholson, a man of experience, pondered and said, "A young girl in the prime of her life was rescued by a handsome Hollywood star. She's secretly in love with him. How will she repay this life-saving grace?"

Leonardo DiCaprio quipped, "It's a waste of your talent that you're not a screenwriter for cheesy romance movies."

Nicholson, however, was quite confident: "I've been through thick and thin for sixty years, what kind of lousy love stories haven't I seen? I can tell what a scoundrel like Martin is thinking the moment he stands in front of a woman."

Leonardo said, "Keep a close eye on him and wait for your chance. I feel like something's going to happen tonight."

Nicholson cautioned, "Idiot, stop with your stupid three-hit combo. Show me your acting skills. Don't tell me you haven't improved at all after all this time."

Leonardo wasn't sure, and the three-hit combo had almost become instinctive, so he simply said, "I'll try to talk as little as possible and pretend I'm tired."

The two had been secretly observing Martin.

Following Elizabeth's advice, the Olsen sisters ended the party before it went too late.

When Martin said goodbye and left, he was quite surprised that Nicholson and Leonardo, those two scoundrels, hadn't caused any trouble.

Once inside the Lincoln, Martin asked, "You two, no other plans?"

Leonardo closed his eyes, leaned back in his seat, and ignored Martin.

Nicholson said, "It's just to support your friend's birthday party, isn't it?"

Martin glanced at Leonardo, who was swaying and ignoring him, and then looked at Nicholson more closely, but didn't find anything unusual.

Nicholson pulled down the partition and said to the driver, "Take Martin home first, then go to Brentwood to drop Leo off."

The driver drove down Coty Road.

They soon arrived at Martin's house. Nicholson patted Martin on the shoulder and said, "Get out of the car. We're free tomorrow night. Let's go wash our faces together."

"Okay, I'll call you later." Martin got out of the car and went into the house alone.

He was worried about those two bastards, so he waited behind the door for a while and saw the Lincoln drive away and quickly disappear from sight.

As the Lincoln drove out of the Coty neighborhood, someone was already waiting on the side of the road in a regular Volvo.

As he got out of the car, Leonardo said, "How was my performance this time? Pretty good, right?"

Nicholson said to this clueless idiot, "You were really good at sleeping!"

The two got into the car and quickly returned to the Coty community, deliberately stopping at a distance to observe the situation in front of Martin's gate.

Not long after, a Porsche drove down from the south slope and stopped in front of the Aston Martin. The driver honked the horn, the driver's side window rolled down, revealing a head of long hair, and the person seemed to be waving at the security camera at the door.

"There really was an affair!" Leonardo's eyesight was excellent; with the bright light from the doorway, he could clearly see that the driver was Elizabeth Olsen. "That bastard Martin, he cheated on us!"

"The car's in," Nicholson said. He patted Leonardo on the shoulder. "Get out, get ready to get started."

The two got out of the car, opened the trunk, and each carried an RPG firework and an RPG pyrotechnic, like ghosts in the night, and went to the spot they had chosen beforehand.

Nicholson hoisted the RPG and said, "The Martin family's yard is big enough. Even an idiot could make the fireworks land in the Martin's yard if we launched from here."

Leonardo suggested, "Why don't we wait until they get to the crucial moment, and then render Martin impotent? Let's see if he still dares to say 11 seconds!"

"No, police patrols this neighborhood very frequently." That scoundrel Nicholson, with his money and free time, had done his research specifically to get to Martin: "A patrol car will be here in about fifteen minutes."

He grinned menacingly: "Leo, how can righteous people like us, good citizens of Los Angeles, let a bastard like Martin take advantage of a beautiful young girl?"

Leonardo took out a lighter, lit the RPG firework that Nicholson was carrying on his shoulder, and then lit one of his own.

After a puff of white smoke and sparks, two bright lights pierced the night sky with a muffled thud, landing one after the other in Martin's yard with loud bangs.

Leonardo immediately became excited, and in a hoarse voice, he roared, "Fire! Fire on Martin!"

Nicholson could finally get his revenge, fantasizing that Martin would be so scared he'd wet himself.

One after another, flashbangs were launched, causing a series of loud noises in Martin's yard.

In the villa's foyer, Martin pulled Elizabeth behind a stone wall.

Elizabeth was terrified. Remembering the news in the newspaper, she exclaimed, "Is it Russian retaliation?"

She didn't panic because Martin was right beside her: "What do we do?"

Martin looked out the window.

The lightning bolts struck the yard, destroying countless flowers and plants. Several exploded near the surface of the swimming pool, spraying water like the excrement and urine that used to fly out of the outhouse when we were kids, landing everywhere.

He gave his bodyguards, who were following him in the shadows, a two-day break, and those two bastards started causing trouble.

No wonder the party seemed so normal, it turns out this is why!

Water splashed everywhere, grass clippings flew, and flower petals scattered.

On this auspicious occasion, Martin received heartfelt blessings from his eldest and second eldest brothers.

He pressed the intercom on the side: "Old Brooks, have you spotted two bastards?"

By a specially modified window in the annex, Bruce put down his AR rifle and said, "We see them. How do we take them down?"

With another loud bang, a windowpane shattered.

Martin opened the drawer next to him, took out a pistol, and said to Elizabeth, "You wait here and don't move. I'll take care of this."

Elizabeth thought of Martin rescuing Old Brooks in the gym, and how he didn't hold her back; she simply said, "Be careful."

Martin walked out, worried about accidental discharge, so he deliberately removed the magazine halfway to make sure there were no bullets in the gun, and then installed a tactical flashlight.

The outside quieted down temporarily. After using the RPG fireworks, Martin knew very well that the two idiots had burned out a whole body, so he and Bruce immediately rushed outside.

The iron gate opened, and a tactical flashlight was turned on.

Nicholson found the lights too bright and noticed a red dot suddenly appear on Leonardo's face.

He then remembered that the guy he'd messed with tonight was a real ruthless man, the backbone and fighter of the trio of bastards.

It's so unfair that he's going to get shot by his own people.

Nicholson immediately threw away his RPG flare and shouted, "Don't shoot, it's me!"

Leonardo realized what was happening and quickly called out, "Martin, it's me!"

Martin thought to himself that his yard was a complete mess from the bombing, and he was going to teach these two bastards a lesson. Pretending not to recognize their voices, he shouted, "Drop your weapons, put your hands behind your heads, and get down on the ground. Let me see your hands! I'll shoot!"

Before the two bastards could reply, he emphasized again, "I'm going to shoot!"

Leonardo threw down what he was holding and collapsed to the ground with a thud.

Nicholson quickly followed.

Martin quickly approached, shouting as he went, "Don't move! Hands behind your heads! Don't make me shoot! Do as I say, now let me see your asses! Quick, do as I say!"

He wanted to kick those two bastards' asses hard.
