Chapter 406 We are villains, not idiots

Chapter 406 We are villains, not idiots

Not only Martin and his two companions on the trailer roof, but also the others who had been paying attention to Leonardo and Nicholson gradually shifted their gaze to the oddly dressed person who had walked over alone.

Some familiar people recognized him as Shia LaBeouf.

Leonardo looked over there too: "Is this the surprise Martin was talking about?"

Nicholson adjusted his sunglasses and said with a laugh, "Haha, that's interesting."

On the roof of the trailer, Saoirse set up a tripod and stood behind it, operating the camera. She said, "He's doing performance art again."

Martin realized the phone camera wasn't taking good pictures, so he stopped and focused on watching the spectacle: "The man who stole the show from the whole crew has finally arrived."

Shia LaBeouf wore a supermarket paper bag over his head, with three holes torn in the bag to expose his eyes, mouth, and nose, while the rest of the bag was covered with crookedly written words: "I am the normal one."

The clothes he wore were made of several leather belts wrapped around his chest and legs, with metal rivets embedded in the belts in the opposite direction. The long spikes stood up, like a porcupine with some of its spikes removed.

A whip hung from his belt, dragging on the ground like a demon's tail.

Shia walked forward in silence, and the crowd of onlookers surrounding Nicholson and Leonardo automatically parted to make way for him.

"Coming for us?" Leonardo asked curiously. "Some new activity Martin came up with?"

Nicholson couldn't understand: "Martin isn't that freakish, is he?"

Shia approached Nicholson and knelt down on one knee with a thud. The long spikes on his knee were stuck into the muddy ground, making his posture look particularly strange.

He took the long whip from his waist and held it high: "Jack, let me join the trio of bastards!"

Nicholson did not react.

Leonardo dismissed it with disdain.

Shia shouted, "Please whip me hard as a testament to my joining!"

Nicholson didn't touch the whip; he just smiled happily.

Despite wearing a paper bag over his head, Shia could clearly see that, as an artist, he was prepared to undergo the most brutal test: "To prove my determination and confidence in joining the bastards, I will kneel here for a long time without making a sound or responding. You can whip me or test me in any other way. I will absolutely prioritize artistic integrity and will never dodge or resist."

The people around were in an uproar.

Even in Hollywood, where people are used to all sorts of abnormalities and have seen many celebrities' crazy words and actions, they were still stunned by Shia LaBeouf's incredible actions.

Even Johnny Depp, that weirdo, isn't this bad!

Nicholson found it amusing and chuckled.

Leonardo also found it very fun.

But neither of them touched the whip.

Leonardo pointed to a trailer behind him: "I see Martin."

Nicholson looked back and said, "Let's go, let's go over there and continue watching the show."

The two turned around and left.

Shia LaBeouf remained kneeling there, seemingly oblivious to the fact that his target had already disappeared into the distance.

Nicholson turned around and couldn't help but burst into laughter: "Where did Martin find such a gem? This is fucking hilarious!"

Leonardo said, "What a big surprise!"

When they arrived at the trailer, Martin and Bruce had already gotten out of the vehicle.

Saoirse glanced at Leonardo and decided to stay up there: "I'll take some more pictures."

She wanted to see if anyone had made a move against Shia LaBeouf.

Martin called Nicholson and Leonardo to get into the trailer together, and they sat by the window where they could see over there and chatted.

"Did you hire a performance artist?" Leonardo DiCaprio has always been very interested in art.

Nicholson asked, "These kinds of silly sculptures aren't easy to find, are they?"

"It has nothing to do with me," Martin retorted. "Didn't you recognize me?"

"The man's head was completely covered by a paper bag; he was harder to spot than Batman," Nicholson said. "How are we supposed to spot him?"

Martin stated directly, "Where can I find such a high-caliber talent as Spielberg's godson, Shia LaBeouf, the male lead in the live-action Transformers movies? He idolizes Jack because of Blanchett and wanted to be Jack's underling."

He briefly recounted what had happened to Shia LaBeouf in the past few days.

Leonardo seemed quite interested: "What a talent! He should be sent to the San Fernando Valley."

Nicholson asked, "Do you think Spielberg would be willing to send his godson to a place like that?"

Martin casually replied, "It's not a big deal if they're not biologically related."

Seeing the sand sculpture still kneeling there, Leonardo asked, "What do you two think?"

"We, the trio of bastards, are notorious villains, elites skilled at causing trouble and messing with people, not a haven for the mentally ill!" Nicholson exuded the aura of a leader, daring to cause trouble and capable of taking responsibility.

He pointed at Shia LaBeouf, the paper bag man, and said, "If we let him join our trio of bastards, do you think people will think we're anything but elites, villains, idiots!"

Martin agreed with his point: "First of all, he would seriously lower our average IQ. Given his behavior patterns, he is a hundred times more likely to be the one being messed with than the one messing with others."

Leonardo said, "Also, he would seriously tarnish our average appearance and reduce our attractiveness to young, beautiful women."

Martin and Nicholson's eyes both fell on his face.

Leonardo was furious: "What do you mean? I'd lower your standards of attractiveness? What a joke!"

Martin tapped the table: "This is a reminder to you, stop expanding horizontally, you're dragging down our average looks, Leo!"

Before Leonardo could retort, Nicholson spoke up, "This Shia LaBeouf doesn't fit our trio at all. He's just a weirdo at best, not a villain. We don't need to consider him."

Martin said, "Just take it as a joke."

Just watching the drama unfold can be quite interesting.

Not only the onlookers, including the trio of jerks, found it interesting, but Shia LaBeouf himself also found it amusing.

Shia appeared to be kneeling on one knee, but the paper bag had trapped him in his own world, making him as happy as a goofball.

People's happiness varies greatly.

While the onlookers were enjoying the gossip about Shia, Shia herself was enjoying the gossip of dozens of people.

Looking at all those silly people pointing and gesturing around him like clowns, he felt that these melons were crisp and sweet.

David Fincher stood alone at the entrance of the studio, looking at DreamWorks' godson, too angry to speak.

He must have lost his mind to agree to let this idiot join the DreamWorks crew.

David Fincher is too lazy to go over there; if the idiot is willing to kneel, then let him continue kneeling.

On the trailer, Martin pointed to the roof: "Shia LaBeouf is so-so, but that girl up there is good, she has potential."

Leonardo's eyes darted around, and he deliberately raised his voice: "Martin, didn't you claim to be faithful? When did you change your tastes?"

"Shut up, Leo!" Martin's voice came through the open window: "Saoirse is my student, and I am Saoirse's teacher. You can't belittle a student in front of a teacher."

Leonardo winked at Martin: "You're right, I misspoke."

Nicholson pointed at the two bastards and said, "Since she has potential, teach her well, not just in acting, but more importantly, how to develop safely in Hollywood."

His next words carried a hint of genuine emotion: "I'm getting old. Who knows, one day I'll close my eyes and kick the bucket and go see God or Satan. Then the bastards will be one less person, and there will be a successor."

Martin laughed and said, "Don't worry, you old bastard, God won't take you, and Satan won't want you. They're both afraid of being messed with by us!"

On the roof of the trailer, Saoirse was still filming. Listening to the occasional words and laughter, she felt that the three of them were not villains as rumored, but rather had a particularly adorable side.

Martin, in particular, acknowledged that her teacher was truly a good teacher.

Saoirse Ronan, the child star, approached Martin to be her teacher, so her intentions were certainly not so simple, but at this moment she felt she shouldn't think too much about it.

With Martin as her teacher, she should have far fewer troubles in the future.

As for trouble that comes to her, Saoirse has never been afraid. She dared to mess with Emma Watson at Pinewood Studios!

In the afternoon, filming continued at the amphitheater, focusing on Martin and Cate Blanchett's scenes together.

Shia LaBeouf, the paper bag man, is still kneeling not far away.

Some of the film studio's security guards found it amusing and came over to pose for photos with him in the background.

A large, overweight female security guard quietly ran over, trying to pull down Shia LaBeouf's pants. If he didn't resist, perhaps she could...

David Fincher left a security guard on set beforehand, which scared the crew away.

Even if David Fincher was very annoyed, he couldn't let Shia LaBeouf actually get into trouble on set.

But taking photos together is no problem.

After a while, two stylists came over, and one of them, acting like a sissy, directed Tina, "Strike a sexy pose, he won't move anyway..."

Tina posed in various ways next to Shia LaBeouf and took many photos.

After her effeminate manner changed, she said with her pinky finger raised, "I never imagined that there would be a sixth gender in this world."

Tina wasn't part of that circle and didn't quite understand: "I know there are three genders, how can there be six?"

In a effeminate manner, she gave examples: "Men, women, gay men, lesbians, transvestites—these were the five categories that existed before."

He gently tapped the paper bag Shia LaBeouf was wearing: "Look, this is the sixth type, the paper bag man!"

Tina suddenly realized.

"Hey, Tina, hurry to the set!" Saoirse shouted. "Blanchett's furious. She said what's so great about this idiot and brainless freak, and she wants you to hurry up and touch up her makeup."

Tina quickly walked back: "Didn't you just touch up your makeup?"

Saoirse walked away nonchalantly, hands in her pockets, whistling.

Back on set, she put aside all her worries and carefully observed her teacher Martin and Blanchett.

Saoirse remembered Martin's words: acting is the foundation of everything; without the foundation, there is no point in talking about the other crucial parts.
