Chapter 194 Li Chuan VS Dumbledore (First Update)

"Mysterious man, you're under arrest!"

Before Li Chuan could answer, the agitated Aurors had already stood up, raising their wands and aiming them at Li Chuan. The vice-captain, in particular, cleanly and efficiently cast a Rope Charm at Li Chuan.

"Immediately imprison them!"

A thick hemp rope, like a snake, bound Li Chuan tightly.

The famous and mysterious man who rescued Grindelwald from the Magical Congress of the United States and subsequently displayed his powerful magical abilities on numerous occasions, is Grindelwald's strongest wizard.

Although they never knew the mysterious man's name, his appearance had long been known to the wizarding world through major newspapers.

Li Chuan glanced at the ropes binding him, but didn't seem to care. He continued speaking to Dumbledore:

"Yes, but I don't like sneak attacks and assassinations. I want to have a fair wizard duel with you, right here at the Quidditch pitch."

"A duel? I think you should be thinking about how you're going to survive in Azkaban first!"

Seeing that Li Chuan was already bound by his rope spell, yet still dared to challenge Dumbledore to a duel, the Auror lieutenant immediately stepped forward and said in a cold voice.

Li Chuan completely ignored him and simply smiled.

"I hope you're quick, otherwise I might attack Hogwarts Castle directly, and it wouldn't be good if those little wizards got hurt."

After saying that, he immediately dispelled his shadow clone and disappeared from the spot.

The Auror vice-captain, who was about to grab Li Chuan and escort him back to the Ministry of Magic for interrogation, was stunned when he saw Li Chuan simply disappear.

He didn't see the other person take out a wand, nor did he see the other person chant a spell. Even if it was a silent and wandless Apparition, it shouldn't have been able to break free from his ropes.

When Dumbledore heard that Li Chuan was going to attack Hogwarts Castle and his lovely students, he immediately took out his wand and Apparated, disappearing from the pub as well.

"Vice-captain, what do we do now?"

The Aurors behind them were somewhat at a loss when they saw that both Mystic and Dumbledore had disappeared.

The vice-captain gritted his teeth, suppressing his anger, and ordered:

"What to do? Go to the Quidditch pitch and capture the Mysterio, of course!"

He then used Apparition and disappeared on the spot, and the other Aurors followed suit, waving their wands and using Apparition as well.

Inside the Quidditch pitch, Li Chuan looked at Dumbledore and smiled:

"Very well, today I'll see just how powerful you really are, this wizard who's on par with Grindelwald!"

"I've heard that although you've helped Grindelwald, you've never killed a wizard or a Muggle. Have you considered that perhaps you're not suited to follow him?"

Dumbledore looked at Li Chuan with a very serious expression.

Even he dared not be too careless towards this mysterious person with strange magic, especially since Hogwarts Castle was right next to him.

Li Chuan shook his head:

"I don't actually hate Muggles, I just don't like being bound by secrecy laws, so although Grindelwald's approach was a bit cruel, the result was ultimately good."

"It's better than the current corrupt Ministry of Magic, isn't it!"

"Let's take him down together!"

Just then, the Auror vice-captain and his men appeared on the Quidditch pitch. Upon seeing Li Chuan, they immediately waved their wands and unleashed a series of powerful spells at him.

Upon seeing this, Li Chuan simply raised his hand, and the ten rings in his arm flew out instantly, directly blocking all the spells.

"You small fry can just stay out of the way and watch!"

With a thought, the ten rings that were floating in front of him immediately turned from defense to offense, shooting towards the Aurors like ten shooting stars. Before the Aurors could cast their next attack spell, they were all knocked back and sent flying.

"In that case, I have no choice but to take you down first."

However, just as Li Chuan knocked away those dozen or so Aurors, a voice suddenly rang out behind him. It was Dumbledore who had Apparated behind him and pressed his wand against the back of his head.

"So fast!"

Li Chuan's pupils contracted. Before he could recall his tenth-ring defense, he was struck on the back of the head by Dumbledore's spell.

Normal apparition cannot achieve true teleportation because it not only involves pauses but also produces sounds like firecrackers, and because of traversing space, the body feels very uncomfortable.

Even a top-tier wizard like Newt has significant weaknesses when using Apparition.

When Dumbledore used Apparition, he didn't make any casting motions or chant any spells. He was so silent and stealthy, like a ghost, that Dumbledore didn't even have time to react.

It can only be said that some magic has undergone a qualitative change in the hands of someone of Dumbledore's caliber.

If it weren't for the Magical Congress of the United States having an anti-Apparition spell that prevented Grindelwald from using Apparition, then given his skills at the time, he probably wouldn't have been able to cause Grindelwald any trouble.

After all, no matter how agile he is, he can't outpace someone of that level of Phantom Shift. They can silently appear behind you and strike you, and you might get killed instantly.

The commotion at Quidditch had clearly attracted the attention of the young wizards at Hogwarts Castle.

It's midday, and many young wizards are resting in the common room. The dormitories and common rooms of Gryffindor and Ravenclaw are located on the upper floors of the castle, and the Quidditch pitch can be easily seen through the windows.

Whether they were in lower or higher grades, almost all the young wizards were pressed against the windows. Some of them, who were skilled in transfiguration, immediately turned what they were holding into telescopes in an attempt to see more clearly.

"Oh, Merlin's beard... that's Professor Dumbledore fighting with Mysterio!"

Soon, the young wizards all exclaimed in surprise.

Although they were in school, these young wizards kept up with the news, including international affairs and gossip. Some pure-blood wizards even subscribed to the Daily Prophet.

Every morning at breakfast time, a large number of owls would deliver food to the Great Hall where the young wizards ate, many of which were newspapers subscribed to by the young wizards.

Therefore, they were certainly aware of the famous and mysterious person.

Some of the young wizards also recognized the Aurors lying on the other side, who had been knocked to the ground and coughed up blood by Li Chuan's ten-ring shot, because their fathers, uncles, and brothers were there.

The two college deans, realizing the seriousness of the situation, immediately notified the male and female student chairpersons, who in turn notified the professors and the principal.

Therefore, it wasn't long before all the professors and young wizards in the school knew about the battle that had taken place at the Quidditch pitch.

Armando Dippert, who had been in charge of the school for less than a year, did not send the school's professors to the Quidditch pitch to help with the battle. Instead, he ordered them all to stay at the school to protect the students.

And to prevent curious and daring young wizards, especially those from Gryffindor, from getting involved.
