Douluo Continent, Huo Yuhao who returned from Sekiro

Chapter 60 The Lord's Judgment Will Come Imminent (Daily 35)

Qian Daoliu's words were indeed true. Huo Yuhao had only consumed one Xuan Shui Pill in the entire year, and that was all. But even so, at the age of ten, his soul power level had already reached level sixteen.

Even if Huo Yuhao takes one of the remaining two Xuan Shui Pills every six months to ensure he can fully absorb the medicinal power within the pills, he will still be able to raise his soul power level to level 20 before the start of the new school year next year.

Looking at the Sea God Lake, which had returned to calm in the distance, Huo Yuhao patted the dirt off his backside.

He has more important things to do now, and many senior students are eagerly waiting for him. He can't let them down.

We must protect what we cherish, and eliminate pests that threaten it with swift and decisive action.

On the fourth day of the new student enrollment season, a secret rumor spread at an alarming rate among many students and parents.

Zhou Yi, the teacher who was originally supposed to continue teaching Class 1 of Grade 3, was boycotted by the students of Class 1 after expelling half of them in just two years. Now it seems that she will be assigned to teach the freshmen class.

Half of the students in the class were expelled in just two years!

This news swept through almost all the new students and their parents who brought them to school like a tsunami.

Perhaps when these new students and their parents hear the first part of this rumor, they might at most sigh at how strict the teacher is, and secretly rejoice that their child was not assigned to study under this teacher.

However, when the new students and their parents heard that the teacher was being boycotted by the students and was to be assigned to a new student class, with the specific class yet to be determined, almost all the new students and their parents were furious.

"How dare this kind of teacher, who's worse than a pig or a dog, stay at Shrek Academy? Other teachers might not even expel one student a year, but Zhou Yi is an exception. She's expelled half the students in her class in two years. What a show of power!"

"I sent my kids to Shrek Academy to learn, not to be expelled by your teachers for fun!"

"Son, your old man asked my old roommate from Shrek Academy, and he stayed on as a teacher. I asked about Zhou Yi, and it made your old man so angry he almost farted."

"Damn it, this old woman hasn't taught students at Shrek Academy for many years, but she's expelled a lot of students. All those veteran teachers who have taught for twenty or thirty years combined don't even have as many students expelled as this old woman alone."

"After ruining the upperclassmen, now they're ruining the freshmen? What kind of idiot is this? Shrek Academy treats someone like this as a treasure?"

Various rumors spread rapidly within a single day, and the topic could be heard almost everywhere, from the streets to the alleys.

As the situation escalated further, and with many older students sharing their experiences, things became even more uncontrollable, with all sorts of rumors, both true and false, flying around.

Zhou Yi, the number one witch in Shrek Academy's outer courtyard, enjoys tormenting people. She once forced a female student who was menstruating to continue training, simply because she didn't like the girl. She then repeatedly harassed her over the next few weeks, eventually leading to her expulsion.

[A teacher with considerable influence; many students have tried to report him, but all attempts have been unsuccessful.]

[Most students didn't even dare to try reporting the other person before being expelled, because a student had reported this person while still in school, but Zhou Yi got away scot-free, while that student was expelled by Zhou Yi for "improper academic attitude."]

[Zhou Yi's teaching quality is ranked first? Don't be ridiculous! That's because the teachers in other classes are reluctant to expel students who have worked hard to get in. Slightly lower grades don't mean they aren't trying. What can you do if someone's innate soul power is a little lower? What's the point of Zhou Yi getting first place by expelling bad students?]

"Zhou Yi? I've heard of this teacher. Anyway, I've already been recommended for admission to the inner court, so it might be good to chat with her. Her teaching achievements are really nothing to brag about. Our class's top three students have innate soul power of level nine and level eight respectively. Just keeping those top three, I guarantee our class will be number one from first to sixth grade. What's the point?"

【Don't let me hear that old woman's name. It makes me sick. My brother graduated smoothly because he was her student, but his ankle hurts every time it's rainy. It hurts even when he's not walking. My brother said that old woman doesn't know anything. All she knows is to make her students run, and she makes them run like crazy.】

In a sense, Huo Yuhao's plan did succeed. All he did was spread a rumor at the right time—that Zhou Yi was going to lead a freshman class again, and it was uncertain which freshman class it would be.

It's human nature to remain indifferent to things that don't concern us, but what Huo Yuhao did was to forcibly link this matter with every new student and their parents, putting all the parents and new students under Zhou Yi's intimidation.

On the fifth day of the new student enrollment season, many parents contacted their old classmates who worked at the school and began to inquire about Zhou Yi.

On the seventh day of the freshman enrollment season, a large number of parents angrily knocked on the door of the freshman reception office. The director in charge of this matter looked at the room full of angry senior students and silently wiped the cold sweat from his forehead.

On the ninth day of the new student enrollment season, a statement was posted on the school's bulletin board, stating that the rumor that Teacher Zhou Yi had been transferred to teach the new student class was false. However, the focus of the matter had shifted to the public's questioning of Teacher Zhou Yi's professional ethics and teaching quality.

On the eleventh day of the new student enrollment season, a joint letter bearing the handprints of all the students in Class 1 of the third grade, along with a stack of evidence proving that Zhou Yi's teaching ability was questionable and that she was morally corrupt, was sent to the Sea God Pavilion.

On the thirteenth day of the freshman enrollment season, Zhou Yi slumped in the faculty dormitory. The mask that originally resembled an old woman had been thrown aside, and her eyes were filled with fear. Fan Yu, a teacher sitting next to her, wanted to raise his hand to slap her several times, but in the end, only a look of sadness appeared in his eyes, as if he was repenting for his poor judgment of people.

On the fifteenth and final day of the new student enrollment season, the verdict from the Sea God Pavilion was finally delivered.

[An investigation revealed that Zhou Yi, a faculty member, completely betrayed her ideals and beliefs, never truly remained loyal to the cause of education, utterly abandoned teacher principles, and had no professional ethics whatsoever. Her teaching conduct was extremely despicable; she was opportunistic, cunning, and ruthless, resorting to any means to achieve her personal goals.]

[During the teaching process, Zhou Yi showed no respect for the authority jointly granted to teachers by the school and parents. She abused her power, bullied the weak and feared the strong, acted arbitrarily and recklessly, causing serious negative impacts. She disregarded the school's efforts to build teachers' ethics and conduct, and failed to truthfully explain the issues during the investigation, stubbornly resisting.]

During her time teaching at the school, Zhou Yi expelled a total of 87 students. One-third of these expelled students suffered irreversible damage to their knees and ankles, more than half suffered psychological trauma, and the remaining students who were not expelled also suffered varying degrees of physical and psychological harm, severely damaging the ecology of the teaching staff.

[The court ruled that faculty member Zhou Yi seriously violated the college's rules and regulations, as well as teacher and lifestyle regulations, constituting a serious violation of duty. Furthermore, after being investigated, she showed no remorse, refused to cooperate, and even attempted to threaten the entire third-year class into remaining silent. Her actions were extremely egregious and the circumstances were extremely serious, warranting severe punishment.]

[Regarding staff member Zhou Yi and other staff members who provided assistance to her, the specific handling results will be jointly determined by the Sea God Pavilion and the Parents' Committee. All students expelled by Zhou Yi will be provided with compensation and a second chance for enrollment. Furthermore, a high-level healing-type Soul Master will be assigned to treat the injuries caused by Zhou Yi.]

[Regarding this serious teaching incident, all faculty and staff of the Shrek College of Internal and External Education will take this as a warning, learn from the lessons, further strengthen education on teachers' ethics and conduct, further strengthen the supervision and management of the teaching staff, guide teachers to earnestly fulfill their responsibilities of teaching and educating students, and ensure that similar incidents are prevented from occurring.]
