Mystery: My Encounters with the Celestial God

Chapter 100 I'm reporting this!
"Mr. Fool doesn't seem to deny Mr. Hanged Man's question..."
"No, Audrey, you can't think about it anymore, or Mr. Fool will be unhappy."
Sitting in a bronze high-backed chair, Audrey, who had witnessed everything, pursed her lips and discovered the hidden message in Mr. Fool's words.
However, she didn't speculate too much, because the atmosphere above the gray fog was so quiet.
That's all for today's gathering!
Feeling his spiritual energy dwindling, Klein decisively announced the end of the gathering.
"As you wish."
Justice and the Hanged Man immediately stood up and bowed respectfully.
Mr. Fool nodded in satisfaction, glanced at the oblivious Fate, and said nothing more.
Because he was still at Sequence Nine, he couldn't beat this kid who seemed to be a nightmare.
The crimson light receded like a tide, leaving only Klein above the gray mist.
Without lingering, he immediately enveloped himself with his spirituality to simulate the feeling of falling, leaving the mysterious space above the gray fog.
Opening his eyes and stretching his wrists, Mr. Fool pressed the flush button on the toilet and left the restaurant's restroom.
He didn't buy anything there, and shamelessly walked out of the shop and went to the public carriage stop.
It's not even 4 p.m. yet, so he has plenty of time. He's going to the professional squad to act as a good citizen and expose wrongdoings.
Zotland Street.
Inside Blackthorn Security Company.
"Klein, aren't you off today?"
Upon seeing the familiar figure behind the reception desk, Luo Shan put down the women's aesthetic magazine in her hand and greeted him warmly.
"Rosanne, actually, I'm not simply on holiday today."
The young night watchman removed his hat and bowed, responding with a double entendre.
"Klein, there's always a hint of boasting in your words. Little Ron is so cute and well-behaved. If he weren't an Extraordinary, I would definitely try to take care of him."
The enthusiastic girl understood what Klein meant and rattled off a whole bunch of things before he could speak again.
Cute! Well-behaved!? What's so well-behaved about that guy!?
Klein's lips twitched slightly as he mentally scoffed, but he didn't chat with Rosanne again. Instead, he smiled, nodded, and pointed to the captain's office.
The night watch clerk immediately understood his meaning and made an OK sign, invented by Emperor Roselle, to indicate that the captain was in the office.
Klein nodded slightly in thanks, then walked past the reception desk and knocked on the door of the captain's office.
"Enter."
Dunn Smith was holding the pipe that Daly had given him, inhaling the scent of the unlit tobacco.
He raised his head slightly, his gray eyes sweeping over Klein who had just entered. He paused in his act of sniffing tobacco, a familiar premonition rising in his heart.
"What happened to you this time?"
Instead of waiting for his teammates to report the situation, he spoke first, hesitatingly asking his own question.
"Captain, don't be so direct," Klein muttered awkwardly to himself.
"Captain, I've discovered an Extraordinary!"
"Um."
Dunn nodded slightly, already somewhat used to such things. His calm demeanor left Klein speechless for a moment, unsure of where to begin.
"Well, it's like this. This morning, when Ron and I were buying necessities, I met a lady who called herself Sharon Hoy..."
Clearing his throat, Klein organized his thoughts and recounted to Dunn Smith the events of the morning, his divination findings, and his own deductions, omitting, of course, the parts concerning the gray fog.
Dunn Smith listened intently, but the more he listened, the more uneasy he felt. Only when Klein stopped speaking did he raise an eyebrow and slightly curl the corners of his mouth.
"Klein, you mean a beautiful lady has taken a liking to you and wants to invite you to her ball?"
"Uh, yes, Captain."
"That's not the point. The point is that that lady is very likely an extraordinary being!"
Dunn's words were flawless, which made Klein nod awkwardly and then emphasize a key point, feeling a little guilty.
Seeing his teammate's embarrassing situation, the Night Watch captain didn't make too many jokes. He quietly repeated the name Sharon Hoy, and then gently placed the pipe in his hand on the table.
"Klein, have Leonard go to the police station and find out who this Sharon Hoy is."
"Yes, Captain!"
Seeing that Dunn Smith was so reliable, Klein breathed a sigh of relief and immediately went to the door to inform Leonard, who was playing cards in the lounge.
"Wait a minute, there's one more thing."
"Klein, you need to keep the invitation letter they sent to the company safe, because current intelligence indicates that although Mrs. Sharon has a lot of problems, the specifics still need to be investigated."
"So, you'll likely have to attend their party as usual."
Klein paused in his steps, and behind him came a Dunn Smith-esque "Wait a minute."
After listening to the captain's analysis, the fortune teller suddenly remembered Mrs. Sharon's eyes that seemed to want to "devour him alive".
As a man, he felt a little bit of anticipation, but as a cautious person, he forced a smile and said:
"Captain, this task is still a bit too difficult for me to do alone."
"Actually, Leonard is a good candidate. After all, he is so good-looking that he can definitely gather a lot of information."
"Especially for ladies and young women like these."
Klein's mind raced, and he promptly dragged the unsuspecting Leonard into the mess.
His slanderous words made Dunn Smith think they made a lot of sense. He frowned and pondered for a few seconds, then nodded slightly.
"Yes, you make a lot of sense."
"In that case, once Leonard finds out Mrs. Sharon's identity, I'll find a high-ranking police officer I know so that he can also sneak into the ball."
The veteran captain gave his answer and reassured the team members in front of him.
"Captain, what about you? Actually, I feel you'd be more suited for this kind of dance."
Upon receiving Dunn's reply, the fortune teller breathed a sigh of relief, then smiled and looked up, making a presumptuous joke about Dunn.
But Dunn Smith remained unmoved by the teasing. He looked at his teammates with a completely different gaze than we do, and with a slight smile, he offered a brief explanation.
"I need to hire a security company to protect against unexpected incidents."
"Besides, this is just a survey task, so it doesn't require too many people. Generally speaking, only single men like you can better fit into these kinds of parties."
"It's not really suitable for an older man like me."
Klein's smile froze on his face. He rushed out the door in a somewhat embarrassed manner, heading to find his equally single poet classmate for comfort.
