Mystery: My Encounters with the Celestial God

Chapter 103 How Should I Please You?

Chapter 103 How Should I Please You?

"Old man, did you see anything?"

Seeing that Klein was chatting with the target, Leonard Mitchell tilted his head and quietly called out to his grandfather.

"How many times have I told you, don't call me near that brat!"

After a while, a furtive, aged voice whispered into Leonard's ear.

The voice was very faint; if Leonard, with his dark hair and blue eyes, hadn't listened carefully, the aged voice would have been drowned out by the melodious tune.

Leonard was about to speak, but quickly shut his mouth, then put down the cup in his hand and went to the restroom.

"Old man, didn't you say that little Ron was fine? Then why are you being so careful, even telling me to avoid him?"

You know the shit!

Palez Zoroaster inwardly scoffed, quite annoyed by this good-for-nothing.

"Hmph, kid, let me tell you, I'm only saying this for our own good, so don't be ungrateful."

The aged voice rang out again, silencing Leonard's further questions.

"Alright, old man, Mrs. Sharon, did you notice anything wrong?"

Leonard consciously changed the subject and repeated his previous question.

"Pfft, kid, that Mrs. Sharon is an extraordinary being, and most likely a witch. Your colleague is quite the ladies' man!"

The aged voice chuckled upon hearing Leonard's question. Instead of explaining the witch's mysteries to Leonard, it marveled at Klein's "luck with women."

"The witch... is she a member of the witch cult?"

The poet Leonard, however, did not understand what the old man was laughing at. He frowned slightly, recalling the detailed information about the secret organization recorded in the Night Watchers' files.

"Haha, I'm not sure, I have reservations. After all, there are plenty of beautiful women out there, and certain sealed objects can also change a person's appearance and figure."

Palez Zoroaster chuckled again, then quickly went offline and stopped replying.

The midnight poet wanted to ask more, but seeing this, he shook his head. Then he stretched his body, which was constrained by wearing a formal suit, and walked out of the restroom with a calm expression.

Instead of returning to his original spot, he went upstairs to the second floor like one of those sneaky men, as if he had made an appointment with a lady.

No one noticed him as the music played.

The light footsteps stopped, and Leonard stepped aside to let a beautiful lady coming down from upstairs pass.

He glanced at her quickly, marveling at her beauty, before swiftly entering the second floor and disappearing around the corner.

When Aria saw the black-haired, blue-eyed man beside her, her eyes lit up for a moment. She was about to call out to him, but then stopped abruptly. Then, as if nothing had happened, she went to the ball that was in progress on the first floor.

Palez Zoroaster, having just completed a theft, twitched his face but remained silent, once again watching the drama unfold through the eyes of his poet classmate.

After all, that blond brat is still downstairs, so it's a good opportunity to use this demigod witch to test him out.

The slow, rhythmic patter of footsteps echoed as Aria, wearing black high heels and a matching evening gown, descended to the first floor.

The demigod's gaze swept across the center of the ball, but she did not find any men of her type.

"Sigh~ Where is the little cutie Sharon was talking about?"

Aria lowered her eyes and sighed.

Her voice was clear and melodious, like a bird in the forest. Her skin was fair and her appearance was exceptional, possessing an irresistible charm. Her dark eyes were bright and lively, like those of a young girl who had just come of age.

The haughty witch wore a faint smile, surveying everyone at the ball with an air of superiority.

His smug gaze swept over Mrs. Sharon, over the young historian who was chatting with her with a fake smile, over the golden dumpling who was eating a small cake with his head down, and over the waiter who passed by.

and many more! ?

Something seems off!

Before Aria could realize that something was wrong, the blond boy eating cake instantly noticed her gaze and turned to look at her.

Their eyes met, and time seemed to stand still.

This scene is just like a gathering in the ocean of the collective unconscious.

Aria's confident smile froze on her face. In that instant, she recognized the boy eating the cake.

Golden hair, golden eyes, delicate features, and a height of just over 1.5 meters; most importantly...

The gold monocle worn above the right eye.

King of Angels!!!

"Grass!"

The beautiful witch was inwardly furious and, disregarding elegance, directly used a Rune-style exclamation of support.

Arya turned around instantly, intending to break through the window and escape from this extremely dangerous place.

But at that moment, a gaze from an infinite height, or perhaps from her own past, was fixed on her, causing her to freeze instantly and her body to break out in a cold sweat.

The drops of sweat soaked her evening gown, sliding down her neck, arms, and inner thighs, splashing onto the ground.

"You'll die!"

The thought flashed through her mind.

If she dares to move again, she will die here for unknown reasons, in an extremely tragic and utterly helpless manner!

This is a spiritual intuition from a demigod!

In this silent atmosphere, time slowly passed, and no one knew how much time had gone by.

Just as the witch's sweat soaked the ground beneath her, the cold, dangerous gaze vanished, leaving Aria slumped to the ground, gasping for breath.

Her face was deathly pale, her lips were bloodless, and her body was stiff and trembling, on the verge of losing control.

A single glance from her nearly cost her half her life, which made her no longer dare to harbor any illusions, and she swallowed the name of the Primordial Witch that was on her lips.

After a while, her strength gradually returned, and the witch slowly stood up, glancing at the ballroom below out of the corner of her eye.

The music was still the same music, and the ball was still the same ball, but the blond boy's figure had disappeared.

"Hello!"

Suddenly, there was a tug at the hem of her evening gown. The witch looked down and saw that the terrifying angel king had appeared beside her at some point.

Arya was startled and stumbled backward, stepping on her right foot with her left and falling to the ground again.

"Have you eaten? No, no, I, I mean..."

"Your Highness, thank you for your kindness. We praise your presence."

The witch demigod was so frightened that she was speechless, but after a few seconds, seeing that Ron did not make any further moves, she immediately breathed a sigh of relief and gave him a small compliment.

"Hmph ╯^╰."

The blond boy scoffed at the flattery and gave a haughty snort.

"There were discordant signs in your destiny. If I hadn't stopped in time, you probably wouldn't be seeing the sun tomorrow!"

His eyes swept over the witch opposite him, and he spoke a warning to her.

However, the witch was perceptive and immediately understood what this terrifying being meant. She prostrated herself on the ground, adopting a very humble posture.

"Your Highness, what can I do to please you?"

Arya asked hesitantly.
