Chapter 168 Celestial Venerable: First, lure in a "piglet" to be made into a pot (3K)
As the layers of illusory world before him gradually receded, Ron's will returned from the sea of collective subconsciousness to his body.
As soon as he returned, his little face drooped down and his lips pouted upwards, as if Klein Moretti owed him millions of pounds.
"Sigh~"
He sighed deeply, as if for the benefit of everyone else in the room.
However, after a while, the house remained empty, and nothing unusual happened.
"Sigh~~~"
Ron Sothos sighed heavily again, as if trying to release all the pent-up frustration in his heart.
"Fatball, I think you're just a little radish—not long enough. If you don't want to live, just die already!"
After a long while, Ron's "brother" Fusheng Xuanhuang Tianzun finally spoke up with a mocking tone, showing no curiosity whatsoever.
He could tell that this bastard was trying to say something by acting like this.
"Sothos, don't lament like that. I can help you dream of using that little radish head you don't have."
No sooner had the Celestial Venerable's mockery fallen than the Primal Will jumped out. Although His words were sincere, Ron could still hear the mockery in them.
"Heh, don't forget, we were all fused together by the Aggregator Monster; this body contains a part of you to some extent!"
The boy took off his monocle, rubbed his golden eyes which gave him a faint sense of authority, and habitually retorted.
"Gentlemen, I have some very bad news for you. Those guys outside the barrier in the starry sky are about to attack us!"
The boy's childish self-talk echoed in the empty room. The voice, filled with knowledge that would make anyone explode upon hearing it, successfully amused the two great beings.
"Ha, they dare to say they're worthy?"
"That's right, just them?"
A burst of laughter suddenly rang out, followed by the ripping sound of flesh tearing open, which echoed throughout the room. Two more horrifying gashes appeared on the boy's fair face.
One of the fissures was oozing copious amounts of blood, and inside were layers of illusory teeth, each one incredibly sharp like a tiny insect, covered with drops of sticky fluid.
The other one was made of fibrous strands of flesh, and inside, an eyeball was pieced together from flesh and blood. This eyeball looked around through the gaps in the flesh and blood, as if it was trying to find something.
Just then, as the room began to emanate an intense curse and a distorted anomaly from the laughter, the illusory ticking of a clock hand rang out, freezing time and space within the room.
The curse and mutations ceased to spread, obediently submitting to the authority of the Great Ruler.
"Stop bragging, it'll be good for your morale. Last time, I don't know who was it that went after that ugly guy like two rutting stray dogs."
"Shut up!"
"Shut up!"
As this topic came up, Ron Sothos's inner monologue started playing again, and the wills of the three pillars returned to their original state, with none of them able to convince the others.
To be honest, the covenant between the three of them had already broken down irreparably as early as when Ron reclaimed the authority of Sequence One.
However, because Ron's authority is currently quite strong, the other two pillars are unable to mount a very effective resistance.
"You are so arrogant that you have lost the ability to judge even the smallest things!"
"Do you think those guys outside the barrier wouldn't be prepared, since they dared to unite against us?"
"That negative pillar outside can definitely sense our condition. Its gaze will be fixed on me. And you two useless things are half-dead now, only able to maintain an active will within my body. What can you use to stop them!?"
"Use your foul mouth that only spews filth?"
The blond boy took a deep breath and, without a hint of joking, explained the current situation.
He felt that those guys outside the barrier needed to be taken seriously, because they possessed a real threat to him.
"Fatball! Don't try to fool us. As long as the barrier is up, they can't get in!"
"That's right, Sothos. With the end of the world approaching, we'll be resurrected sooner or later. There's no need to worry about those guys outside!"
The Celestial Will and the Primordial Will still didn't take the blond boy's words to heart, after all, the same move couldn't possibly succeed twice against a pillar.
Last time, they were completely fooled by Ron Sothos, which led to this terrible situation.
"Hmph ╯^╰, is that so?"
Seeing this, the blond boy pushed up his monocle and a mocking smile appeared on his lips.
"The barrier may be sturdy, but it's bound to have flaws. And the seven gods of the present world are most likely filling those gaps. Do you really have that much faith in them?!"
"So much faith in them, who were originally ants?!"
"Didn't you consider how much damage that might be done to your resurrection progress if one or two of them succumbed to those outside and secretly sent in a few of their followers?"
"Putting everything else aside, just secretly finding your authority and bringing it back to the stars would be enough to shatter your fragile and laughable resurrection plan!"
Ron Sothos smirked and launched a piercing interrogation at the two beings of equal caliber within his body.
As the saying goes, sincerity is the ultimate weapon.
At least for this moment, the blond boy's perspective was entirely from their point of view, leaving his two mortal enemies speechless and causing the entire room to fall silent instantly.
Upon hearing this, the Celestial Venerable's will reacted even more violently, causing the gash on Ron's right cheek to nearly double in size.
Clearly, the fat ball's thoughtful words successfully reminded Him of His own authority outside the barrier.
And, the suppressed portion of active will.
Weak creatures are mostly cruel, cunning, and full of petty tricks. Would the gods they become really be completely like puppets, fighting against the outer gods who could easily destroy them?
When hope is fading and the end is near, surrendering doesn't seem like such an unacceptable thing.
"Sothoth, your words are full of manipulation and sophistry. You want us to cooperate with you to fight against those old forces outside? Let me tell you frankly, that's simply impossible!"
"That's right, Fatty, do you think we'll still help you!?"
The room remained silent for a few minutes, then the grand voice of the primordial will suddenly resounded, echoing throughout the now gray guest room.
"Oh, really? Well then, I respect your opinion. Let them in!"
"It's just having a baby, right? I don't care!"
The blond boy pushed up his monocle and launched into a nonchalant statement, his words—like a man who had washed himself clean, stripped naked, and was lying in bed waiting to give birth—left both the Celestial Venerable's will and the Primordial Will speechless.
What's wrong, little bro? Why are you talking so strangely today?
"Fatty, act normal, speak properly, this is really strange to me!"
After a while, the Celestial Venerable's will, not wanting to be left out, teased Ron, trying to get that fat ball who often mocked Him to come back quickly.
"Sothos, it's not like he's given up to this extent."
The primordial will followed suit, its words showing a hint of wavering, as if it were slapping itself in the face from just a few minutes earlier.
The Celestial Will and the Primal Will wholeheartedly supported Ron Sothoth's proposal.
After all, this was only beneficial to them, and they even wished that the Outer Gods would come even more fiercely, thus diverting all of Ron's energy.
Because only in this way could they take advantage of the chaos and secretly resurrect.
But can these innermost thoughts be spoken aloud? If you speak them out loud, are they still considered innermost thoughts?
So they could only put on an act, trying to take advantage of Ron.
If they were already dead, that would be one thing, and they would only have the option to trust their own plans and schemes. But now that they have a certain ability to influence reality, how could they just stand by and watch?
"Ha, you two..."
The blond boy pushed up his monocle and snorted, full of helplessness at the infighting between his two arch-rivals.
"Gentlemen, now that you've agreed, what kind of punishment do you intend to inflict on those guys outside?"
Without wasting words, Ron declared with the authority of a pillar that he would punish those who harbored malice towards him and were oblivious to their own mortality.
"I have a plan. We can divide them up, choose one that seems foolish, trick its will into the barrier, and then seal it inside the pot!"
Just then, upon hearing this foolish fat ball ask such a question, the old celestial being, without hesitation, immediately began to speak of his own skillful experience.
"You vile devil, your despicable nature is known to all the Outer Gods. How could they possibly believe your words?"
Ron pushed up his monocle and questioned the credibility of the Heavenly Venerable Fusheng Xuanhuang.
"Ha, you don't know anything!"
"Are you lying or am I lying!?"
"Don't pretend to know what you don't. Just because you can't do it doesn't mean I can't!"
The Celestial Venerable's will was furious upon hearing this, clearly displeased with the blond youth's questioning.
You can say whatever you want about me, but you can't say that my "business" skills are inadequate. That's an insult to my authority and symbol!
"Sealing them away while they are weak is indeed a very good approach!"
A grand and authoritative voice emanated from Ron's left cheek, acknowledging the current, crude plan.
"Since you two both think this is feasible, I'll reserve a degree of trust in you!"
The blond boy nodded slightly, agreeing with the scheming and intrigue-filled views of his two arch-enemies.
Ron knows these two guys all too well. They may be all smiles and cooperative on the surface, but they might be plotting something nefarious in some hidden corner.
The three pillars reached an agreement once again, just as they had two months ago. As for what they were planning, only they themselves knew.
