Chapter 173 Thor in Despair (First Update)

At the center of the base, Thor's hammer stands tall.

Thor strode forward with a confident look on his face. He had finally found the hammer that had been with him for thousands of years. As long as he picked up Mjolnir, he could restore his divine body and call Heimdall to open the Bifrost to bring him back to Asgard.

Around him were Jerry, Coulson, several S.H.I.E.L.D. agents, and the Old Bridge Town astro-meteorological research team, all staring intently at him.

Coulson looked at Jerry.

Jerry shrugged.

"Chief Fury invites you to come over and speak with him."

Jerry nodded and followed Coulson toward the command post on the west side of the base. He also wanted to know what Fury's plans were for Thor now.

Before leaving, Coulson specifically arranged for several agents to take Jane and Eric to their rooms at the base to rest.

After a spatial fluctuation, he disappeared from the S.H.I.E.L.D. temporary base in New Mexico and arrived at his New York home, where he had left a key beforehand.

Around 8 p.m., seeing that Haas and his two companions had yawned and gone to their rooms to sleep shortly after finishing their dinner, Jerry unlocked the door again.

He added a little something extra to dinner: a magical potion that helps with sleep, similar to a sleeping pill, but with health benefits.
