Marvel's Hogwarts Wizard

Chapter 192 S.H.I.E.L.D. Surveillance

Chapter 192 S.H.I.E.L.D. Surveillance (Second Update)

"Blackie, let's go! Location: S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicopter!"

After leaving the residential area, Jerry found an empty rooftop, put away his flying broom, and released the Thestral from his box.

Because Thestral was entirely black, Jerry named it "Black Charcoal."

"Hiss~"

Black Charcoal let out a neigh, its four hooves flew, and its bat wings flapped rapidly, making it dart away like a black arrow.

"This speed is amazing!"

When Jerry rode Thestral for the first time, he finally understood why Newt described it as one of the fastest magical creatures in the wizarding world in the book "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them".

It was indeed very fast; if Jerry didn't hold on tight to the Thestral's mane, he felt he might be thrown off.

If the speed of a flying broomstick is comparable to that of a top-tier supercar on the ground, then the speed of a Thestral at full speed is comparable to that of the world's most advanced aircraft.

No wonder Harry and his friends rode Thestrals from Hogwarts to the Ministry of Magic in London in just a short time in the original book.

"Darling, did you see a black horse fly by just now?"

On the rooftop of a building in New York, a young man with dyed blond hair and an earring suddenly saw a Thestral flying overhead and asked his girlfriend, who was stargazing beside him, in a daze.

To his surprise, his girlfriend immediately slapped him hard in anger upon hearing this.

"Jack, were you on drugs again? You promised me you'd never do it again!"

"I didn't, I really didn't!"

"Do you think it's reasonable for horses to fly in the sky?"

"This... Mary, let me explain, I really didn't drink any alcohol today!"

"So you did it yesterday!"

"I...this..."

……

Jerry didn't tell Blackie the coordinates of the S.H.I.E.L.D. aircraft carrier, nor did he tell Blackie which S.H.I.E.L.D. aircraft carrier they were going to, but Blackie seemed to know the location immediately after Jerry shouted it out.

In less than ten minutes, Jerry saw the S.H.I.E.L.D. aircraft carrier again.

It can only be said that the magical talents of the magical creatures are indeed very powerful, and they can still work even if they are from different worlds.

Just like having an owl deliver a message, you only need to say the person's name, and the owl will know who to deliver it to. There's no need to worry about how many people have the same name; it can always find the person you want to deliver it to. The Thestrals are the same.

"Watch out, something's coming!"

On the deck of the S.H.I.E.L.D. aircraft carrier, some S.H.I.E.L.D. agents instinctively drew their pistols as they watched a black dot suddenly approach in the distance.

In the blink of an eye, the black dot became clear.

"My God, what is that thing?"

The S.H.I.E.L.D. agents stared wide-eyed at the unknown, pitch-black creature before them. They had never seen such a strange and terrifying creature before.

It looked emaciated, with a dragon-like head and huge bat wings, like a Pegasus from hell.

"Don't worry, it's me!"

Just as the agents were watching the approaching unidentified creature and preparing to fire, a familiar figure suddenly appeared behind it—it was the wizard Jerry.

Once the black charcoal landed steadily on the deck and folded its bat-like wings, Jerry leaped down, took a piece of raw meat from the box, and tossed it to it.

"Don't worry, it has a good temperament and won't attack people unprovoked. By the way, Coulson called me over, where is he?"

"Please wait a moment, I'll notify my superior right away!"

A S.H.I.E.L.D. agent who appeared to be the captain glanced at the Thestral munching on raw meat and quickly pulled out a walkie-talkie:

"Sir, sir, the wizard has arrived on deck ahead of schedule and requests a meeting with you!"

"So soon? Tell her to wait a moment, I'll have these robot soldiers dragged onto the deck right away!"

Coulson's somewhat surprised voice came through the walkie-talkie.

Clearly, he hadn't expected that Jerry would arrive so soon, just over ten minutes after he hung up the magic video call, even though the aircraft carrier was quite a distance from downtown New York City.

"Hiss~, Miss Wizard, what kind of horse is that?"

Coulson led the modified robot soldiers onto the deck and was startled to see the Thestrals next to Jerry.

What kind of bizarre genetic experiment is this?

"Thestrals, magical creatures, my new mount!"

Jerry touched the head of the charcoal trolley, and the charcoal tumbled back at Jerry's palm.

Seeing this, Coulson didn't ask any more questions. He knew that some things related to magic couldn't be explained clearly.

"These robot soldiers have been fully modified according to your specifications. Here are the controllers; I'll teach you how to operate them!"

The controller in Coulson's hand was actually a tablet-like device, which he used to control these robotic soldiers by inputting commands into it.

Jerry gave it a try, and it wasn't too difficult. With the help of the "energizing" product, he quickly mastered it.

"Main weapon: machine gun; dual-wielding super-powerful stun guns; flight capability; and even an anti-aircraft gun added—pretty good!"

Nodding in satisfaction, Jerry waved his wand, and twelve robots flew in a line into his box space—not his own, but the second box he later killed Quirrell and stole.

"You wouldn't put surveillance equipment inside these robot soldiers, would you?"

After putting away the twelve robot soldiers, Jerry looked at Coulson with a suspicious expression.

Cole smiled and said quite naturally:

"How could that be? You're overthinking it, Miss Wizard!"

"That's good. I'll be going now. Call me using the magic mirror if you need anything!"

Jerry nodded with feigned satisfaction, flipped over and straddled the charcoal-covered body, quickly turning into a black dot and disappearing.

"That dark horse is really fast!"

Seeing that Jerry and his magical mount had almost disappeared in the blink of an eye, Coulson couldn't help but exclaim in amazement.

Back on the aircraft carrier, Coulson had a video call with Nick Fury.

"Chief, Miss Wizard has been successfully received!"

"Didn't she suspect anything?"

"Frey asked."

Coulson hesitated for a moment, but still answered truthfully:

"Although she didn't seem to suspect anything on the surface, my intuition told me that she must have guessed something."

"It's alright. The surveillance equipment we installed in each robot soldier is very well hidden. Unless she removes the entire robot soldier, it's impossible for her to find out."

Moreover, the surveillance equipment wasn't monitoring in real time; it only recorded video and then periodically transmitted the images, making it even less likely for her to discover it!

Nick Fury smiled.

The opponent's magic is amazing, but they don't seem to be proficient in using machinery.

"Chief, is this really a good idea? If Miss Wizard finds out, she'll only distrust us even more!"

Coulson frowned.

He had a very good sense of the wizard from beginning to end, but emotionally he did not approve of Fury's actions.

But as a secret agent, reason compels him to obey orders.
