Marvel's Hogwarts Wizard

Octopus #207 has taken the bait.

Chapter 207 The Octopus Has Taken the Bait (First Update)

"So, did you get it?"

At this moment, a stall owner next to the gloomy stall owner asked with envy and curiosity.

"No, no, that kid just left the tent a short while ago, then Apparated and disappeared. We couldn't catch him!"

The gloomy stall owner remembered Jerry's instructions and quickly waved his hand.

The stall owner clearly didn't believe it:

"You've already got it, why keep it hidden? Everyone's not stupid. If it weren't for the rules, and you beat me to it, I would have gone over and done this lucrative job. That kid had at least several thousand Galleons in his pocket!"

The rule in the black market is that you can't fight inside the tent; if you want to fight, you have to go outside the tent.

Moreover, whoever goes out first cannot be taken away by others.

However, these are just the rules agreed upon by the stall owners. The black wizards who come to buy things are not subject to these rules. If you encounter one, it's up to you to decide.

Upon hearing this, the gloomy stall owner didn't offer any further explanation, only saying that he needed to rest at home for a few days and wouldn't be setting up his stall for the time being.

Actually, there was no way to set up a stall anymore; the young wizard had taken all the Galleons and smuggled magical creatures from his pocket.

Meanwhile, Jerry rode the Thestral back to the French Magic Street.

What he told the four dark wizards to do was simple: when they got back, they shouldn't admit they had met him, because he hadn't raised enough money that day and planned to pull off another heist.

However, it's hard to say, because he couldn't guarantee that the four dark wizards would do as he said when they returned.

But what loss is there in this?

At most, the dark wizards inside only know that he is quite powerful. Those with more courage will continue to fall for his tricks. He is doing this simply to prolong this situation for a few more days.

What if the four dark wizards tell the people behind the black market about his situation?

That depends on what the people behind the black market say. If they pretend not to see it, that's fine. But if they plan to take care of Jerry while they're at it, he'll be very happy.

That would mean he would receive a large sum of Galleons.

The following night, Jerry returned to the forest where the black market tent was located.

This time, however, he released the twelve robot soldiers ahead of time and cast illusion spells on them.

The twelve robot soldiers at this time had changed from when they fought Morgana. In addition to the large wings on their backs, the electric discharge device on their right hands had been transformed into a sharp greatsword.

Before leaving, Jerry asked Balthazar to modify it for him using mimicry magic.

Dave also helped in some small ways, by ensuring that the robot's right hand, while being magically modified, still retained its electric shock function.

Therefore, the greatswords in the right hands of these robots are not only sharp during combat, but also electrically powered.

"Go, get into the air, and await my orders!"

Although Jerry felt that with his current overall strength, taking down this black market wouldn't be too difficult.

But if there are wizards in the black market who can rival him, or who are even more powerful than him, then the twelve invisible robot soldiers in the sky can provide him with great help.

Given the wizard's physique, if he doesn't have time to cast a defensive spell and is ambushed by robot soldiers with machine guns and cannons, he probably won't fare well either.

However, if it were a direct confrontation, and the wizard had already cast defensive spells beforehand, the robot soldiers would likely have a much smaller chance of winning if there were an equal number of them.

Jerry pulled back the curtain of the black market tent, his innocent smile returning as he walked in carrying a bag of Galleons.

The moment they saw Jerry, the eyes of the wizards at the stall lit up.

It turns out that the colleague from yesterday wasn't lying; they really didn't catch this little lamb.

"Is the anti-Apparition spell set up? That kid's about to come out!"

Not far from the black market tent, a black wizard asked three other black wizards a question.

"Alright, once we lure that kid over here, he definitely won't be able to escape. But is that kid really that rich, worth our two families joining forces to deal with him?"

One of the dark wizards looked puzzled.

You know, it's just a teenager. They could have handled it themselves. Why did they have to team up with another company? Wouldn't that just be giving away half of their money for nothing?

The first black wizard laughed:

"It's alright, that kid is definitely rich. He just spent 10,000 Galleons on a house-elf without even blinking. We estimate he has at least tens of thousands of Galleons in that bag!"

"So many! Wouldn't it be even more heartbreaking to divide them in half?"

The other dark wizard also looked heartbroken.

If the opponent only has 10,000 Galleons, then 5,000 will be given away. But if the opponent has 50,000 Galleons, then 25,000 will be given away.

The first dark wizard was speechless upon hearing this, but he still explained:

"Don't underestimate that kid. He can bring so many Galleons to the black market. He might not be as simple as he seems on the surface. Besides, Art and I both think Benny was a bit strange yesterday."

So, the moment that kid steps into the range of the Anti-Apparition Charm, don't hesitate, kill him instantly!

Art was another stall owner who worked with him. Benny was the stall owner who said yesterday that he couldn't catch up with the boy, and Art was the stall owner next to Benny. He was the one who went up to Benny to get information out of him yesterday.

"Yes, boss, they seem to be coming out!"

The other three dark wizards responded in unison, and after seeing the boy emerge from the tent, they scattered and hid.

"Young Master, our base is just ahead, and those are extremely rare dragon eggs!"

At the tent entrance, a thin, dark wizard with a broad smile led Jerry toward the anti-Apparition spell that had been set up, followed by two of his henchmen.

"Really? Then hurry up! If there really is a dragon egg, I'm willing to pay 50,000 Galleons!"

Jerry urged, his face full of anticipation.

(Hey guys, hurry up, I can't wait to loot your wealth.)

This time, Jerry didn't just look around without buying anything after entering the black market tent, unlike yesterday; that would seem too fake.

Therefore, he used the money he made from the previous day's swindle, plus his own savings, to buy a house-elf.

However, he acted very casually during the purchase, as if spending 10,000 Galleons was nothing to him, like a super fat sheep.

Sure enough, as soon as he threw the house-elves he had bought into his box, a dark wizard approached him and asked if he was interested in dragon eggs.

If you're interested, you can take him to a secret location outside to buy it.

Upon hearing this, Jerry was overjoyed and looked very interested. He then happily left the black market tent with the black wizard and his two henchmen.

"The fish has taken the bait, we can pack up now!"

The four dark wizards lying in ambush and the three dark wizards who brought Jerry saw Jerry step into the range of the Anti-Apparition Charm and thought to themselves at the same time.

At this moment, Jerry had the same thoughts as them!
