Marvel's Hogwarts Wizard

Chapter 217 Flying Magic Car

Chapter 217 Flying Magic Car (First Update)

"Oh, Jerry, is there anything you can't do?"

Hermione watched as Jerry waved his wand and actually presented one Chinese dish after another that he had never seen before, and couldn't help but marvel inwardly.

Jerry was first in his grade in school, and even his teachers praised his understanding of magic, saying that in some aspects he had surpassed most seventh-grade wizards.

In Quidditch, Jerry was the best Seeker, and was even exceptionally selected for the England national team. He also turned the tide in the Four Nations Tournament, leading the England Quidditch team to victory.

Jerry has also done a great deal of research on Muggle science and knowledge, even more than her father, who has been a Muggle for decades.

Jerry can also discuss alchemy, a subject not taught at school, with ease with Mr. Weasley, suggesting he possesses a considerable level of expertise.

Even the seemingly insignificant kitchen cooking magic, Jerry actually knows, and he knows Chinese food, which is known for its difficulty.

Can a person really be so versatile?

Originally, in Hermione's heart, Jerry was not only her best friend, but also the goal and competitor she wanted to surpass at school. But now, she felt that surpassing Jerry was something that was truly unattainable.

Unlike Hermione, Mrs. Granger looked at Jerry with great satisfaction.

"Merlin, you've actually mastered Chinese cuisine, and you do it so well!"

Mrs. Molly picked up a fork, stabbed a piece of chicken into her mouth, and her eyes lit up with delight.

She originally thought Jerry might have only dabbled in some Chinese recipes and could barely manage to make them, but she never expected them to taste so good; it was completely beyond her expectations.

"Actually, I'm also interested in British and French cuisine, Aunt Molly. If you have time, we can exchange ideas. You can teach me some British and French dishes, and I'll teach you Chinese food!"

Jerry replied very modestly.

"That's wonderful!"

Mrs. Molly's favorability towards Jerry, who shared the same ideals, skyrocketed.

Jerry isn't a good social person, nor does he particularly enjoy socializing, but he understands in his heart that if he wants to become friends with someone, if he wants someone to like him...

The simplest way is to share common interests with the other person.

If you've achieved considerable success in this hobby, then it's even simpler.

Lunchtime.

Once everyone was seated, the Weasley family members, who knew Mrs. Molly best, immediately noticed something amiss at the dinner table.

"Oh, Molly, many of the dishes you made today seem unfamiliar to me. This sweet, sour, and crispy texture—is it meat?"

Arthur picked up a piece of crispy fried pork coated in sweet and sour sauce and put it in his mouth. His eyes immediately lit up and he showed an expression of enjoyment.

"This chicken tastes a little different than usual!"

"Huh, is this fish slices? It's so spicy!"

"What is this? Oh, it's so hot! Merlin's underwear, it's leaking!"

As everyone curiously picked up their knives and forks, cries of surprise rang out one after another.

"I'm not very good at Chinese food. Half of the Chinese dishes on the table today are from faraway China, all prepared by Mr. Carmen. You should thank him!"

Molly explained to everyone with a smile.

"Jerry!"

Upon hearing that Jerry had made all these strange Chinese dishes, everyone who hadn't been in the kitchen looked on incredulously.

Harry and Ron, in particular, knew Jerry quite well. In their eyes, Jerry should be the kind of person who was completely absorbed in magic books every day.

It's like when you're in school, you see the top student studying hard every day, and you marvel at how hard work pays off. You think it's only right that he gets first place because he works so hard every day.

Later, you discovered that he was also exceptionally good at sports, and you marveled that it was possible to have both academic and athletic pursuits.

Later, this classmate of yours came to visit you, and he easily prepared a Manchu Han Imperial Feast.

At this point, all you'll have left is to question the meaning of life.

Why is it that we're all human, and not much older than each other, yet you're so outstanding that it's despair-inducing!

Being good at studying is due to hard work, being good at sports is due to having a naturally good physique, but what the heck is being good at cooking?

"Don't eat the soup dumplings directly, you'll burn yourself. Let me teach you. See, you can bite a small hole first, slowly suck out the soup inside, and then..."

Seeing Ginny and George get burned by the soup dumplings, Jerry used his Transfiguration to conjure a pair of chopsticks, picked up a dumpling, and began to teach everyone the correct way to eat it.

In the afternoon, Ron and the others continued Quidditch on the hill.

Mrs. Molly then pulled Mrs. Granger aside to discuss her parenting experience of raising seven children over the past two or three decades.

Mr. Granger, Hermione, and Jerry followed Arthur to the large warehouse in front of the Burrow.

Pushing open the door, the first thing that catches the eye is the light blue Ford Anglia 105E luxury sedan that Arthur has modified, followed by a bunch of disassembled Muggle appliances.

When the car saw Arthur appear, it moved the door as if to greet him.

"I cast an awakening spell on it, so it has some thoughts of its own, but it's rather shy and generally doesn't like to talk!"

Arthur waved at the car.

"That's incredible!"

A car with its own thoughts—that really challenged Mr. Granger's worldview, even though he's said that many times today.

"Did they use a scarless growth spell to expand the car's interior?"

Jerry opened the car door and found that the space inside was at least four times that of a normal car.

Arthur smiled and nodded:

"Of course, considering that we have a large family, a smaller space definitely wouldn't be enough to accommodate everyone!"

However, after saying that, he immediately added a warning:

"The Traceless Charm is strictly prohibited by the Ministry of Magic for unauthorized use, so even if you learn it, don't use it recklessly, at least don't let others know, otherwise you'll be fined by the Ministry of Magic!"

"Uncle Arthur, we know that we rarely do anything dangerous or against the rules. Could you explain to us some alchemical techniques used in modifying this magic vehicle?"

"With your skills, Uncle Arthur, I think this magic vehicle can do much more than just fly!"

Jerry said with a sincere expression.

"Of course!"

Arthur smiled smugly:

"Besides using some of the alchemy techniques employed to create flying broomsticks, which gave the car the ability to absorb external magic to fly, I also added an invisibility charm to prevent it from being detected by Muggles. Simply pull up this invisibility booster, and the entire car will be instantly covered by an illusion charm."
