Chapter 231 Quantum Teleportation (First Update)

After returning to his New York room with the key, Jerry once again Apparated to the vicinity of Stark Tower in Manhattan, and then slowly floated over using his flight ability.

"Sir, the witch said to wait here; she'll be there in two minutes!"

Just as Tony was about to turn around and put on his Iron Man suit, Jarvis's voice came again.

"What? Two minutes? Her flying horse? It doesn't seem that fast!"

Tony remembered that he had seen the black horse that the wizard rode when he went to the S.H.I.E.L.D. aircraft carrier last time. Although the horse flew quite fast, it was impossible for it to fly from Los Angeles to New York in two minutes.

Even his Iron Man suit can't fly that fast.

"Perhaps she didn't fly!"

Just then, Chili Pepper saw on the projection screen the scene of Jerry disappearing with the door key.

"If it doesn't need to fly, then how?"

Tony had just turned around and stepped off the machine that automatically donned his Iron Man suit when he was interrupted by a knocking sound on the glass before he could even look at the projection screen door.

Turning his head to look out the window, he saw a familiar figure dressed in a wizard's robe floating outside the glass window, waving and greeting him.

"Well, that's quite an impressive trick!"

"Apparition!"

Upon seeing Tony and Pepper, Jerry Apparated once again, appearing directly in front of Tony.

"Tony, long time no see!"

"Oh, it's been a long time, Miss Wizard! Your magic seems to have become even more powerful!"

Tony and Pepper were startled when Jerry suddenly teleported in front of them.

"Isn't it a magic trick?"

Jerry joked.

"Haha, I didn't know your hearing was so good!"

Tony picked up a glass from the table and took a sip of red wine to hide his embarrassment.

"Did I come at the wrong time?"

Seeing the red wine in Pepper's and Tony's hands, Jerry immediately realized that the two might be doing something rather private.

"If I'm disturbing you, I can come over later!"

"Oh, no, no, no, you and Tony talk first, I'll go get you some snacks!"

Little Chili quickly waved her hand, put down her wine glass, smiled, and turned to walk out.

"What brings you here, Miss Wizard?"

Tony put down his empty glass and got down to business.

Jerry pointed his wand at the empty wine glass Tony had set down, and the empty glass immediately turned into a police car, though it was just a model.

"I hope you can help me build a police car like this, but the materials should be of good quality, and the interior should be modified to include some modern weapons, such as machine guns and rockets."

As for the fees, I'll settle the payment with you once everything is done!

"It doesn't cost anything; you've helped me several times. But, may I ask, what do you want to do with this police car?"

Jerry requested that heavy weapons be installed on the police cars, and Tony naturally wanted to know why.

"I'm sorry, this involves the safety of my family, so I can't tell you. But you can rest assured, I asked you to help build this police car only to protect my family; I won't do anything bad!"

Jerry waved his hand, restoring the police car model to its original state.

Tony paused for a moment, then finally replied:

"Alright then, I believe you!"

The wizard's actions were plain for all to see.

Not everyone is willing to go out every night to fight criminals; even he only does it occasionally.

As for Thor, he only comes out to fight criminals when he's bored.

Therefore, the wizard's character is recognized by the public.

"Thank you, but please don't tell S.H.I.E.L.D. You know they're always trying to find out my identity, and I don't want my identity to be exposed, which could implicate my family. They're just ordinary people!"

Jerry shrugged helplessly.

Tony nodded in agreement.

Although his overall impression of S.H.I.E.L.D. was relatively positive, some of their tough practices did make him uncomfortable, which is why he had consistently refused to join the ridiculous "Superboy" program.

"It should be ready in about three or four days. How can I contact you then?"

Building a police car and then installing some weapons inside isn't too difficult for someone of Tony's caliber.

"Here you go. Once you're done, call my name in front of the mirror. If you're in New York, I can come right away. If you're in Los Angeles, please put the glove I left on the floor."

Jerry took a mirror out of the box and handed it to Tony.

Jerry can now make his own two-way mirror, and he's even made improvements, keeping the main mirror while splitting it into side mirrors.

His main realm can be connected to each panel, but the panels cannot be connected to each other, although they can be connected to the main realm.

However, the spells used for communication were all simple words like "wizard," except for Coulson's, whose spells were still long strings of Chinese characters because they had been sent out in advance.

"I just asked Happy to buy some snacks, let's try them together!"

Just then, Little Chili came in again carrying a plate of snacks.

"Thank you, I like sweets!"

Jerry, who was in class at school, felt the mirror on his waist vibrate and knew that Tony had made the police car he wanted.

He left an illusionary clone in place, used the Disillusionment Charm to leave the classroom, found a secluded spot, and then Apparated back to the room.

Apparition makes a firecracker-like sound when it teleports, so it's not suitable for use in classrooms.

"Hi, Tony!"

"Miss Wizard, I've finished making your police car, and I've put the glove on the ground. You can come and get it now!"

Looking at Tony in the mirror, Jerry nodded, then picked up the room gloves and unlocked the door.

After a spatial distortion, he reappeared in Tony's mansion's laboratory.

"Quantum teleportation! I never imagined your magic could actually achieve quantum teleportation!"

Tony couldn't help but sigh as he looked at Jerry who had appeared out of nowhere.

In fact, he never believed in magic because, in his view, the magic Jerry used could all be explained by science.

Just like teleportation, which is called quantum teleportation in science, it involves a series of issues such as quantum entanglement and quantum field.

However, with current human technology, we are not yet able to fully master the relevant technologies.

Jerry's magic, however, utilizes a different method to achieve this technology that surpasses modern technology.

In the eyes of scientists, everything can be explained by science; if it cannot be explained, it's simply because we haven't encountered it yet.

"Quantum teleportation, that's about right!"

When Tony explained the transfer of the key as quantum teleportation, Jerry didn't refute it; instead, he nodded in agreement.
