Chapter 237 War Conference (First Update)

"Neither Hawkeye nor Dr. Eric were controlled by the Mind Scepter. It seems those two aliens didn't need to use Earth's technology; they had other ways to use the Tesseract to open the portal!"

Jerry remembered that in Avengers 1, Loki relied on Dr. Erik's research to open the portal and lead the Chitauri army to Earth.

Aside from killing the S.H.I.E.L.D. agents who attacked them, the two aliens did not use the Mind Scepter to control anyone.

"Hovering power test complete, power cycle in place, horsepower increased by 8%"

Just as Jerry and Fury were chatting, voice announcements suddenly began to play one after another in the command center. Immediately afterwards, he clearly felt that the entire space carrier seemed to be rising.

Tony nodded.

"Hello, I'm Robert Bruce Banner, also known as... the Hulk. Thank you for your help at Greyburn Academy!"

When Dr. Banner saw Jerry, he went up to him and thanked him.

Jerry smiled and nodded:

"I only helped a little; it was mainly up to you!"

At this moment, Captain America, who was looking at the mothership's command center with a look of surprise, also came over to greet Jerry, and then took out ten dollars from his pocket and handed it to Fury.

"What I'm really concerned about right now is, there are only two of them, so why are they so confident they can conquer the entire Earth? And they claim to be Thanos's son, so who is Thanos?"

Tony then voiced his own question.

In his view, the two aliens did indeed demonstrate considerable strength, but to think that they could conquer Earth with just the strength of two people would be utterly absurd.

He knew the two aliens intended to use the power of the Tesseract to open a portal to Earth, unleashing the Chitauri army to conquer it. He just didn't know where they would open it.
