Chapter 26 Jerry, Hermione, and Neville

During their conversation, Hermione gradually discovered that Jerry was actually a kindred spirit. Although he didn't have as much knowledge of textbooks as she did, he had many of his own insights into magical theories and various spells.

He immediately became interested, and at the same time, he felt even more in agreement with Jerry.

According to Jerry's understanding, Neville's parents were both Aurors who were captured by Death Eaters during the First Wizarding War and tortured to the point of madness by the Cruciatus Curse, ending up in St. Mungo's Hospital for Magical Injuries.

His grandmother cast a "forgetting spell" on him when he was only one year old, in an attempt to make him forget the cruel scenes of his parents being tortured.
