Marvel's Hogwarts Wizard

Chapter 3 The Boy with Eight-Pack Abs

Chapter 3 The Boy with Eight-Pack Abs

The next day, Jerry got up early, knowing that Professor McGonagall was coming to visit.

After receiving his Hogwarts acceptance letter yesterday, he took a tour of the entire orphanage.

Based on the information in his mind, this orphanage called Edward was established twenty years ago by a businessman named Edward before his death.

The original purpose of its construction was to help poor orphans who were abandoned for various reasons.

Unfortunately, things changed slightly after the old man died.

However, it wasn't particularly bad; it's just that the orphans' food and other benefits had decreased significantly, and the orphanage staff weren't as kind and friendly as before.

Jerry thought this was only natural. In this day and age, it's already considered good that there's no child abuse in places like orphanages.

After all, some orphanages are nominally orphanages, but in reality, they are illegal institutions whose purpose is unknown.

As the saying goes, "The world is bustling with activity, all for profit!"

No one is absolutely selfless except for great saints.

He himself was no different, except for those he cared about. He wouldn't do something thankless without a certain benefit.

He had always tried his best to do good deeds and help others, and his original intention was simply to get the little red star.

Without the little red star, he probably wouldn't have taken the initiative to help those strangers he didn't know.

When he was in school, he would help someone who had fallen on the street. After working for a few years, he would simply walk around the area when he saw someone fall.

After all, the price of going forward might be his hard-earned salary for the whole year.

However, to be honest, in this second life, all the good deeds he did to earn little red stars did have some impact on him.

He discovered that receiving genuine gratitude from others did indeed bring him a strange sense of joy, even though he was reluctant to admit it.

After queuing up and eating a simple breakfast, Jerry went to the courtyard in front of the orphanage.

He remembered that Professor McGonagall was an Animagus who liked to transform into a tabby cat when she came to the Muggle world. So he was keeping watch in the front yard, and maybe he could witness the magical scene of the cat turning into a human.

Half an hour later, Jerry, who was hiding in a corner observing whether any cats had appeared on the surrounding walls, frowned and looked to the right side of the courtyard.

There, three boys, around thirteen or fourteen years old, were laughing loudly as they pushed an eight- or nine-year-old boy to the ground and continued to mock him.

Through his memory, Jerry knew that these three thirteen-year-old boys were the three oldest children in the orphanage, and their favorite pastime was to bully the younger orphans, taking advantage of their strength.

If any orphan refuses to listen to them, they will likely be bullied and even physically assaulted by them for a long time.

Therefore, the children in the orphanage were terrified of the three boys. When they saw the little boy being pushed and mocked, they did not dare to step forward to stop him.

In fact, there had been other victims who had told the orphanage staff about the situation, but the staff did not take it seriously and only gave the three a verbal warning. On the contrary, the victim who reported the incident was retaliated against by the three teenagers for a long time.

For the staff of these orphanages, as long as the orphans are not seriously injured, they basically don't care. In their view, fights between children are not a big deal.

As for the little boy who was being beaten, he had only recently been transferred to the orphanage, which is why he was targeted by these three teenagers.

After thinking for a moment, Jerry didn't go forward. He felt that even if he helped the boy now, the boy would still be bullied once he left the orphanage for Hogwarts.

Besides, there's no benefit to it. If a fight breaks out and Professor McGonagall sees it, it might leave a bad impression.

However, when he heard the arrogant laughter of the three teenagers and realized that the boy was surrounded and might get a beating because of his stubbornness, he finally sighed and stood up.

"I'm not being soft-hearted; I just wanted to test whether doing good deeds in this world would earn me the same little red star. Yes, this is just a necessary experiment!"

After a few words of underestimation, Jerry strode forward and shouted:

"stop!"

As soon as Jerry spoke, the three boys stopped involuntarily, then turned to look at Jerry who was walking over, their expressions showing surprise.

They never expected that among the children in the orphanage, there would be someone who dared to yell at them, especially since the target was Jerry, who was usually quiet and reserved.

"Looks like you want to be like this new guy?"

The three of them temporarily let go of the little boy whose eyes were already filled with tears, and then walked up to Jerry with ill intentions.

It's understandable for newcomers to be disobedient, but someone like Jerry, who has been in the orphanage for five or six years, still dares to rebel against them, so he needs to be punished properly.

Otherwise, how would they deter other orphans?

"We're all orphans, life isn't easy for anyone, why do something like this!"

Looking at the three boys, each a head taller than him, Jerry tried to keep his tone calm.

Most children who grow up in orphanages, with a few exceptions, will have some psychological problems.

Those who merely feel inferior are not so bad; what's truly worrisome is someone with this kind of psychological inferiority who seeks a sense of accomplishment by abusing and bullying others weaker than themselves.

"Wrong. In my eyes, you're all just trash. Your only purpose is to bring me some joy!"

The fattest and tallest of the three boys looked around and then gave a mocking look.

"Although I'm not keen on bullying kids, if I don't teach you a lesson, you might cause trouble later!"

At this point, Jerry realized that he would have to stay at the orphanage for another month before school started, and given the personalities of these three people, even without today's incident, they would have clashed with him sooner or later.

Since that's the case, why not just defeat them all at once and reduce some trouble in the future?

Shaking his head, Jerry casually took off his jacket and T-shirt and placed them on the table next to him, revealing a lean body.

Although Jerry was only eleven years old and less than 1.4 meters tall at the time, his muscles were very strong.

Moreover, they are not the kind of large muscles that fitness enthusiasts develop, but rather small muscle groups that resemble steel bars.

This makes him appear somewhat thin when he's dressed, but he looks like a completely different person when he takes his clothes off.
