Chapter 302 Mini Merlin's Ring
Chapter 302 Mini Merlin's Ring (Second Update)
Six weeks later.
In the Greek Magic Street, home to complete ancient Greek architecture that drives outside archaeologists crazy, Jerry is using a writing spell to control a quill pen to write several letters at the same time in a marble hotel.
The first letter was addressed to Hermione. A few days ago, Hermione went on a trip to France with her parents and sent him several magic books she had bought on the magic street in France via the local owl post office.
Although Jerry already had these magic books, he still planned to write a reply to express his gratitude and sent back a few magic books he had bought from the Greek Magic Street.
He also planned to give Hermione a gift: a miniature Merlin's Ring, which he had created after studying Greek magic for some time.
Its shape is that of a beautiful necklace, except that a miniature Merlin's Ring has been engraved in the gem in the center of the necklace. As long as magic power is input, it can clear the mind and make it easier to learn magic.
Of course, making such a Merlin necklace is not a simple matter. The magical principles and techniques used to scale down such a large Merlin Ring proportionally and engrave it inside a small gemstone are extremely complex.
Even Jerry took a whole week to finish it.
So apart from Hermione, Harry and the others didn't receive this treatment, which allowed him to spend so much time making such a necklace.
Even Hermione's case was partly due to the fact that he spent time doing it to verify his magical theories and conjectures.
The second letter was sent to Harry, because Harry's birthday was in a few days, and Ron told him that poor Harry had been locked up at home and couldn't go anywhere.
So he gave Harry a few magical gadgets he had made on the spot. They weren't very useful, but they could be used for pranks. He also made sure to incorporate the technique of hiding magical fluctuations that he had learned from Voldemort into these gadgets so that they wouldn't be detected by the Ministry of Magic.
The third letter was addressed to Ron, whose father, Arthur Weasley, had recently won the annual Daily Prophet Award—the Galleon Prize.
There were a full seven hundred Galleons.
So the family went to Egypt for a trip, and also to visit their eldest son, Bill, who worked as an unraveler at the Gringotts Wizarding Bank in Egypt.
He wrote a congratulatory letter and then sent him some local Greek snacks.
The last letter was written to Snape, telling him about his experiences in Greece and sending him some herbs that he had collected that were only found there as gifts.
The main reason was that he bought a lot of rare herb seeds at a low price, threw them into the box space, and used life magic to grow a large batch of them, so many that they were like weeds and he couldn't use them all.
Moreover, during this period he traveled to almost every part of Greece, and even made a special trip to Mykonos, the island recommended by Old Tom.
He also captured a few ferocious chimeras and placed them in the box space. He also bought cubs of a three-headed dog, a griffin, and a horse-headed fish-tailed sea monster through some Greek wizards on the black market and gave them to Sun Long in the box space to raise.
Jerry has returned Sun Long's arm guard to him, and he can use magic again in the box space.
The main reason is that Sun Long has been behaving very well during this time, and the box space now contains powerful Ebony Maw and Black Dwarf, so Jerry isn't worried that he might have any ulterior motives.
Moreover, having witnessed Jerry's current strength, he probably won't harbor any disloyal thoughts.
Most importantly, after a month and a half of studying Greek magic, he has made some progress in magic and has begun preparations to write a magic book.
Indeed, his current understanding of magic within this world system may still be somewhat lacking compared to Snape, Dumbledore, and others.
However, because he has also come into contact with three other systems of magic, his overall magical strength is no less than that of the world's top masters.
Even Dumbledore, if it really came down to a fight, he felt he wouldn't lose.
So now he is preparing to combine the magical theories of this world with his own understanding of magic, write down some of his insights into magic into a series of magic books, and then publish them.
These spellbooks won't contain any specific magic, but they will involve new theories that don't exist in this world.
He wants to use this to enhance his reputation in the world.
Being a genius Quidditch player is no longer enough for him. With his current skills, he can actually start laying the groundwork for the future.
Of course, writing a magic book that is not abrupt, corresponds to the magical theories of this world, and can be understood by any wizard who sees it is not a simple matter.
Just like you've mastered the high school textbook and can get a perfect score on related tests, designing a similar textbook yourself is a completely different level of difficulty.
But that's okay, he can take his time.
"What's going on? Why haven't you opened your diary to communicate with me for over a month? Did you go to the Albanian forest?"
As soon as Jerry opened Voldemort's diary, a line of words filled with accusation immediately appeared.
Since arriving at the Leaky Cauldron, Jerry hadn't opened his diary. For the past month and a half, he had almost thought that things had been exposed and that Dumbledore had taken him away.
"Haha, don't get excited. I've been traveling in Greece for the past month and had so much fun that I forgot. I only remembered today. Tomorrow we'll go to the Albanian Great Forest."
Jerry smiled nonchalantly as he wrote in his diary.
Voldemort remained silent for a long time before replying with "Okay" in his diary, and then there was no further communication.
Jerry could clearly sense that Voldemort in the diary was probably furious by now.
He had been worried and panicking in his diary for over forty days, while Jerry had been having fun outside for over forty days, almost forgetting about him. Who could resist getting angry in that situation?
Voldemort, in particular, was an extremely arrogant person.
He could only grit his teeth in his diary, vowing that when he went to the Albanian forest tomorrow, he and the main soul would completely shatter Jerry's soul and then take over his body.
Over such a long period of time, he had long since devised a method to combine the main soul with Jerry's body forcibly.
Although Jerry never believed him, he always carried his diary with him and even learned a lot of dark magic from him.
As long as one learns magic from him, one will inevitably develop trust in magic, and he can then secretly attach his soul essence to Jerry's body.
When the time comes, as long as the main soul is combined and the two are fused together, it will be able to forcibly take over the body of Jerry, a wizard with extremely good talent.
How powerful can the soul and spirit of a thirteen-year-old wizard be?
