Chapter 308 Sealing the Remnant Soul

Chapter 308 Sealing the Remnant Soul (Second Update)

"Harry, you look like you've grown quite a bit taller!"

On the second floor of the Leaky Cauldron, Jerry patted Harry on the shoulder.

Harry was thirteen years old at the time, just a month after his birthday. He had grown to 1.66 meters tall, and from his appearance alone, he did look like he had grown a lot.

This is actually quite normal. Europeans and Americans tend to mature earlier, and some start tasting forbidden fruit as early as thirteen or fourteen. He saw this when he was in junior high school in New York.

"I should be the one saying that!"

Harry rolled his eyes as he looked at Jerry, who was 1.8 meters tall and whose appearance had completely shed his childishness.

They're about the same age, so how come Jerry grew so much faster than him? It's one thing for him to be less academically gifted, but he's also shorter than Jerry. It's really frustrating.

When we are young, we always want to grow up quickly and look more mature and like an adult. When we get older, we wish we could grow up more slowly and look younger. That's life. We always live in contradictions.

"Haha, maybe I look older than my age!"

Jerry laughed when he saw Harry's jealous look. There was nothing he could do; his current body was also of European descent, and his actual age was already sixteen.

"By the way, I heard from Ron in his letter that you inflated your aunt's circumference?"

Faced with Jerry's teasing tone, Harry said somewhat embarrassedly:

"Ron found out? I... I didn't mean to, but she slandered my parents."

"You forgot, Ron's father works at the Ministry of Magic, and that's not wrong. If it were me, I might just send her a giant melon to eat!"

Jerry shrugged.

Harry's aunt was, to put it bluntly, just his uncle's sister; they weren't even related to him by blood.

"What do you mean, 'eating a big melon'?"

Harry looked puzzled.

Jerry paused for a moment, then realized Harry didn't know the reference, and changed his tune, laughing:

"A kind of magic that punishes people, which I saw while traveling in Greece."

"Jerry, I'm so envious of you! You got to travel to Greece this summer, while I'm stuck at my awful aunt's house. Can you tell me about your experience in Greece?"

When Harry heard Jerry mention Greece, his face immediately lit up with envy.

Ron went to Egypt with his family for the summer vacation, Hermione went to France with her family for the summer vacation, and even Jerry, who also had no parents, went to Greece alone for the summer vacation. Only he couldn't go anywhere.

It was only because Aunt Maggie was blown out of proportion that she was able to stay in Diagon Alley for a month.

"Don't worry, you'll soon be free from this misery, because you'll meet a godfather who loves you deeply, is rich, and owns a mansion!"

Jerry looked at Harry, smiled, and nodded in reply:

"certainly!"

Thus, Jerry recounted one interesting detail after another: the uniquely Greek-style Ministry of Magic, the various buildings, the two Spartan stone sculptures at the entrance to Magic Street, and so on.

At midnight, Jerry closed his nearly finished magic book, "On Air Magic and Flight," and then used the Disillusionment Charm to become invisible and teleport to the room where Harry had been during the day.

Harry was lying in bed with his eyes closed and his brow furrowed, seemingly dreaming, completely unaware of Jerry's arrival.

He collapsed to the ground, completely unconscious!

Just in case, Jerry went to Harry's bedside and cast a stun spell on Harry to prevent him from waking up if he moved or made too much noise.

Don't get me wrong, Jerry came over at midnight specifically to use magic to knock Harry unconscious, not to do anything indescribable. He's not that perverted.

It was all just to secretly extract and seal the Voldemort soul fragment hidden inside Harry's body, so he could earn another round of red stars.

When Voldemort tried to kill Harry, Lily's spell rebounded, causing him to be killed by his own Killing Curse, which resulted in a fragment of his soul possessing Harry.

This resulted in Harry possessing the characteristics of a Horcrux, making him a pseudo-Horcrux.

"Soul Absorption Technique!"

Jerry placed his hand on Harry's lightning bolt scar on his forehead and pulled sharply, forcibly pulling out a fragment of Voldemort's soul filled with screams and dark power.

"seal!"

Before that Voldemort soul could cause any trouble, Jerry had already taken out the Russian nesting dolls he had prepared in advance and forcibly sealed it in the third layer using a sealing spell.

Even Voldemort's main soul and his fragmented soul combined were no match for him, so how could a mere fragment of his soul possibly resist him?

"Great, another five thousand have grown!"

Jerry earned five thousand little red stars with a wave of his hand, and contentedly teleported back to his room to begin practicing meditation.

His magic level is already quite high, and with a little more effort, he will soon break through the level 300 threshold and truly achieve the most basic immortality.

So now he makes sure he has at least seven hours of meditation practice every night.

The next day, in the morning, at the Leaky Cauldron bar.

"Jerry, I don't know why, but I feel really good today, inexplicably good. It's like something that used to weigh on me has suddenly disappeared!"

Harry ate the grilled sausages and fried eggs that Tom, the owner of the Leaky Cauldron, had prepared for him in advance, his eyes filled with joy.

He used to have nightmares for no reason when he slept, and he always felt that his head was groggy as if something was pressing down on it. But he has been like this for years and has gotten used to it.

But for some reason, he slept exceptionally well last night, better than ever before. When he woke up this morning, he suddenly felt that the heavy burden that had been weighing on him for so many years had vanished all at once.

Jerry smiled upon hearing this, but didn't say anything more. After finishing the last sausage on his plate, he elegantly wiped his mouth with a napkin.

He loves doing things that create a win-win situation.

An hour later.

"Hey, Harry, Jerry!"

Familiar shouts rang out in the bar, and Jerry and Harry turned to look at the fireplace.

Ron walked out of the Leaky Cauldron fireplace, waving excitedly, followed by Ginny, the Weasley twins, Percy, and the Weasleys.

Over the summer, Ron's height seemed to have increased considerably, now approaching 1.7 meters, even taller than Harry, though he was a bit thin.

At the same time, the bell rang at the Leaky Cauldron, the wooden door was pushed open, and Hermione and her parents appeared at the entrance of the pub.

"Jerry!"

Upon seeing Jerry standing at the bar entrance, Hermione exclaimed in surprise and, clutching Crookshank in her arms, sprinted towards him.

Hermione, who would be fourteen in twenty days, was 1.59 meters tall and wearing a tight-fitting knit sweater and jeans. When she ran towards Jerry, she gave him a feeling of being greeted by a young girl.
