Marvel's Hogwarts Wizard
Chapter 326 Secret Passage
Chapter 326 Secret Passage (Second Update)
September, October, and Fridays before Halloween, in herbalism class.
Jerry and Hermione were working together, picking plump pink pods from the bubble branch, shelling the shiny beans, and putting them into a wooden bucket.
Ron, who was standing nearby, leaned over excitedly and said:
"Did you see the announcement in the Great Hall? We can go to Hogsmeade Village tomorrow!"
"Oh, tomorrow?"
Jerry's heart skipped a beat. If he remembered correctly, Sirius Black was supposed to sneak into the castle at the Halloween dinner tomorrow, while everyone was in the Great Hall, and tear up the portrait of the Fat Lady who was trying to capture Pettigrew and refused to let him into the Gryffindor common room.
"It's a pity I can't go with you; my aunt and uncle didn't sign my consent form!"
Harry, looking somewhat dejected, stood beside Ron and said this.
"Harry, you'll definitely be able to go next time. They'll surely catch Black soon; someone has already seen him once."
Hermione comforted her.
Seeing his best friend's expression, Ron thought for a moment and offered his suggestion:
"Black isn't stupid; he's not going to go to Hogsmeade and do anything rash. Harry, ask McGonagall if you can go this time; when will you get another chance—"
"No, I asked, and Professor McGonagall said that without a signed form, you can't go. That's the rule!"
Harry lowered his head even further.
"Harry, don't worry. Tomorrow, just bring your invisibility cloak and wait by the one-eyed hunchback statue on the fourth floor. I'll find a way to get you to Hogsmeade."
Jerry snapped out of his thoughts and smiled at Harry.
He knew Sirius Black wouldn't harm Harry, so Harry going to Hogsmeade was perfectly fine.
Children and adults are different. For an adult wizard, missing a trip to Hogsmeade doesn't mean much, but for a young wizard who has never been to Hogsmeade and has always longed to go, it's a completely different story.
If all the young wizards go, leaving Harry all alone in the castle, that would be too pitiful.
Even though it was something that was easy for Jerry to do, he was still willing to lend a hand.
Just recently, he had used various prank magic items he bought from Greece to trade for the Marauder's Map from the Weasley twins.
The Weasley brothers had memorized all the exits of Hogwarts, and with their current magical abilities, they could easily evade Filch's search.
So the Marauder's Map was no longer of much use to them, and Jerry was willing to trade it for new prank magic items they had never seen before, so of course they had no objections.
It's worth noting that the catnip they used to deal with Mrs. Lorris was a gift from Jerry.
They have a long-standing relationship with Jerry.
As for Jerry, he certainly had his own reasons for wanting the Marauder's Map, so that he could know Sirius's location at any time when he entered the castle tomorrow.
"That's not a good idea!"
Hermione hesitated.
Hermione and Professor McGonagall have many similarities; they are both adventurous at heart, but outwardly they are very rule-abiding.
Therefore, when Hermione heard that Jerry was going to take Harry to Hogsmeade Village in violation of the rules, her first reaction was that this was not right.
But if it actually happens, she can accept it quickly.
"It's alright. Even if we do run into Sirius, as long as you don't stray too far from me, I'm confident I can protect you!"
Moreover, sometimes we need to be flexible; rules are rigid, but people are flexible!
Jerry winked at the three of them.
At this moment, Hermione, Harry, and Ron suddenly remembered that although Jerry was only a third-year student like them, his strength was vastly different from theirs.
He single-handedly dealt with more than a dozen Dementors and captured fifteen Auror wand-wielding magic duelists.
In terms of actual combat ability, that terrifying Death Eater Sirius Black might not actually be a match for Jerry.
"Jerry, do you really have a way to sneak Harry to Hogsmeade?"
Ron looked on with curiosity, and Hermione and Harry, no longer hesitant, also showed curious expressions.
However, Jerry deliberately kept everyone in suspense:
"You'll find out tomorrow!"
The next morning, in the castle hall.
Under the watchful eyes of the caretaker, Filch, Jerry, Hermione, and the others waved goodbye to Harry, who was sitting on the marble stairs, and followed the group toward Hogsmeade Village.
After everyone had disappeared from sight, Harry rushed back to his Gryffindor dormitory on the eighth floor, grabbed the Invisibility Cloak hidden under his bed, and headed straight for the fourth floor.
Meanwhile, Jerry, Hermione, and Ron, after arriving in Hogsmeade Village, quietly slipped away from the crowd and headed straight for Honeydukes, a shop specializing in sweets.
Why are we here?
Standing at the store entrance, Hermione asked in a low voice.
Jerry smiled upon hearing this:
"Because there's a secret passage in this shop that leads to the fourth floor of Hogwarts Castle. You wait here while I go through that passage and bring Harry over!"
"How did you know?"
Ron looked on in astonishment.
"I found out from your two older brothers!"
Jerry left a message, got up, and walked towards the Honey Duke store.
"They never told me there was a secret passage to Hogsmeade!"
Ron's lips twitched involuntarily as he watched Jerry's departing figure.
Hermione, hearing Ron's complaint, added:
"They also didn't tell you that the Sorting Ceremony uses the Sorting Hat, and wasn't 'a very harmful test for us'!"
When she was sorted into her new house, she wouldn't have been so nervous if she hadn't heard what Ron said, and she would have just ended up wearing a hat.
Ron recalled all the pranks his two older brothers had played on him since he was a child, and suddenly realized that what had just happened didn't seem like such a big deal after all.
Compared to turning his favorite teddy bear into a giant spider, nearly making him make an unbreakable vow when he was five, and feeding him a sour bubblegum that burned a hole in his tongue.
It would have been much better if he hadn't been told there was a secret passage from Hogwarts Castle to Hogsmeade Village.
It's better than telling him about a secret passage from Hogwarts Castle to the Forbidden Forest, and then the exit leads to the lair of the Eight-Eyed Spider!
All I can say is that the "love" his two older brothers showed him was sometimes too much for him to bear.
"They're out!"
Less than twenty minutes later, Hermione suddenly pointed to the entrance of Honeydukes and exclaimed in surprise.
Just then, Jerry walked towards them from the doorway, giving them an OK sign.
Although there was no one around Jerry, Hermione still keenly noticed the faint footprints on the ground next to him.
She knew that it was Harry who came out wearing the Invisibility Cloak.
