Chapter 451 The Great Jerry

Chapter 451 The Great Jerry (First Update)

Airbus Central Conference Room.

After Jerry recounted Star-Lord's origins, Ego's plan to parasitize and assimilate planets in the universe, and Thanos's plan to exterminate half of all life in the universe, everyone fell silent.

It wasn't that they didn't believe Jerry; it was just that what Jerry said was too crazy and unacceptable.

Coulson's S.H.I.E.L.D. is currently primarily focused on eliminating the remaining Hydra members, with the addition of a newly discovered village of superhumans.

The Avengers' goal is to protect Earth from alien invasion and, incidentally, eliminate entities like Ultron that S.H.I.E.L.D. cannot handle.

But the two enemies Jerry mentioned weren't invading Earth; they wanted to destroy all the planets in the universe and wipe out half of all life in the universe.

The former means that the entire Earth will be assimilated into Ego's body, and unless they leave Earth in advance and survive in space, all life on Earth will die.

The latter scenario involves half of humanity dying, randomly selected. In the worst-case scenario, besides themselves, their entire family might be among the randomly selected other half, just like Hawkeye Barton in the original storyline.

This terrified them.

The key is that these two enemies are beings they cannot currently contend with.

One is a planet in itself, possessing powerful divine power. The other is not only powerful in itself, but also has the most powerful fleet in the entire universe. Previously, it only sent some small fry, and they almost destroyed Earth.

"People always need a little pressure!"

Seeing the atmosphere in the conference room had become incredibly tense, Jerry knew he had achieved his goal. He stopped trying to scare everyone and instead smiled encouragingly:

"Actually, it's not as serious as everyone thinks. Like I said, Ego doesn't know that Quill has inherited his divine power yet, so as long as Quill isn't discovered by him, he can't carry out his plan."

While Thanos and his army are powerful, Earth has us, and we have allies in Asgard. Let's all work together to improve our strength and prepare for battle. When he comes, we'll destroy him!

"Jerry's right, what's there to be afraid of? If Thanos dares to come to Earth to steal the Infinity Stones, Father God won't stand idly by. We Asgard will send troops to support you, just like last time!"

At that moment, Thor raised his hammer and spoke.

Midgard is one of the Nine Realms and is part of Asgard's territory. Anyone with a modicum of culture in this universe knows that daring to launch a large-scale invasion of Midgard is tantamount to slapping Asgard in the face.

"The divine realm may not even exist by then."

Jerry looked at the confident Thor and recalled that in the original story, Asgard had already been destroyed before Thanos invaded Earth because of Ragnarok.

However, he didn't say much. He still wanted to give everyone some hope. He just wanted to put some pressure on everyone and make them more united so that they wouldn't split up later because of an agreement made by the human government.

If the pressure is too great and one's thoughts become agitated, it's not good to have some kind of crazy idea pop into one's head, after all, the Avengers are quite capable of causing trouble.

"Just like Jerry said, if he dares to come, then we'll fight. No matter how powerful Thanos and his army are, we have to face them, not run away!"

At this moment, Steve also stood up.

"When it comes to fighting spirit, Steve is definitely the strongest!"

Jerry looked at Steve and couldn't help but admire him inwardly, noticing that there was no fear in Steve's eyes.

After learning about Steve's life story, he couldn't help but admire his strong will. He was frail and sickly from childhood, but he never gave up fighting whenever he faced enemies stronger than himself or even enemies he couldn't defeat.

From the street thugs who bullied him, to the powerful Hydra, to being frozen for seventy years, to being mind-controlled by the Scarlet Witch, to the arrival of Thanos, to the erasure of half of all life in the universe.

He was always the one who fought to the very end, never knowing how to give up.

"Jerry, I thought you chose to disappear because of some prejudices against you. I never imagined that you left Earth specifically to go into space in order to find out the purpose of those aliens invading Earth."

Nick Rurui looked at Jerry and couldn't help but let out a long sigh.

He thought Jerry left Earth because of "The Wizard Threat Theory," but now he hears that Jerry actually brought back information about the mastermind behind the alien invasion in New York and the real reason for his invasion of Earth.

He suddenly realized that the wizard had left Earth to find the answer for the sake of Earth's safety.

As expected, the wizard cared about the Earth and its people even more than he had imagined; he had never given up on them.

Indeed, the wizard didn't seem like a fragile person to him, so how could he be so easily traumatized by a few people's "wizard threat theory"?

After hearing Nick Fury's words, everyone looked at Jerry with admiration.

Clearly, they all thought the same thing as Nick Rurui.

Yes, the wizard disappeared for several months and returned with such important news. Who would believe that he didn't leave Earth specifically to gather information?

The wizard was indeed a great man!

Seeing the looks on everyone's faces, Jerry waved his hand sheepishly.

"It's not what you think. I just want to go out and see what's beyond Earth. I found out about this by accident."

Indeed, his initial purpose in leaving Earth was simply to travel and, incidentally, to find aliens suitable for living in his ring world to provide him with magic.

He learned all these secrets from watching the movies in the world of "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" for ten years.

However, no one seemed to believe Jerry.

They thought it was just Jerry being arrogant, like how Jerry would always accept some insignificant reward every time he helped them, when in reality their small reward was incomparable to Jerry's contributions.

"Alright, let's put those aside for now. The most important thing right now is to figure out Ultron's purpose and then deal with him. Otherwise, if he keeps making robots and starts a robot war, it won't be easy to deal with!"

Knowing that his explanation was useless, Jerry simply stopped dwelling on it and instead turned the conversation to Ultron.

Ego and Thanos are all secondary; what's real now is to continue the course of this event and make a fortune using the Sokovia incident.

Ultron's goal was to launch Sokovia into space, mimicking a small asteroid impacting Earth, and wipe out humanity like the dinosaurs.

Of course, Jerry thought he was just talking nonsense, but if he had actually crashed into the car, it would have indeed caused quite a few deaths.

Therefore, as long as he intervenes at the last minute, Little Red Star's earnings will definitely be substantial, at least significantly more than the 150,000 he earned on Contra Star.

With these little red stars, after waiting for the one-month cooldown period to end, you can go and explore the new magical little world.
