Marvel's Hogwarts Wizard
Chapter 564 Words Become Law
Chapter 564 Words Become Law (Second Update)
"The Three-Way Battle for Supremacy!!!"
Ron and Hermione gasped in surprise upon hearing this, while Harry looked completely bewildered.
Jerry nodded:
"Yes, students from both Beauxbatons and Durmstrang will come to Hogwarts."
"This is fantastic!"
Ron's face was full of excitement.
Hermione, however, frowned in the opposite way:
"However, the Triwizard Tournament has been interrupted for a century due to the excessive number of deaths each time!"
"This time, they must have taken sufficient precautions, otherwise the Ministry of Magic would not have agreed to restart the competition."
Jerry explained.
"What are you guys talking about? What Triwizard Tournament? And what are Beauxbatons and Durmstrang?"
Harry was completely confused.
Unlike Ron, who grew up in a wizarding family and was exposed to many wizarding stories, or Hermione, who loved reading, he naturally didn't know much about these things.
"The Triwizard Tournament was established more than 700 years ago. Each of the three most powerful magic schools in Europe selects a warrior, who then competes in three magic events."
Before it was banned by the Ministry of Magic, the three magic schools took turns hosting the event every five years. The victorious warrior would receive unparalleled honor—it was so cool!
Ron was so excited that he was almost incoherent.
After he finished speaking, Hermione immediately added:
"Demstrand and Beauxbatons are the two largest magic schools in Europe besides Hogwarts. However, they like to hide themselves, and it is impossible for non-students to find their school address."
Harry, you don't actually think Hogwarts is the only magic school in all of Europe, do you?
Finally, Hermione looked at Harry with some suspicion.
Harry paused for a moment, then fell silent; he had genuinely believed that before.
"Alright, whatever the case, it doesn't really concern us much. After all, the most basic requirement for the Warriors to participate in the draft is to be seventeen years old. We're just spectators."
Jerry, seeing Ron gesturing excitedly, immediately poured cold water on his enthusiasm.
Sure enough, Ron's face fell instantly when he heard that he needed to be seventeen years old to participate in the election.
Who wouldn't want to be a warrior? Even if you don't win the championship in the end, just being selected as a warrior proves that you are the best person in this school.
His brothers had already won almost every honor in the school, good or bad, leaving him with no chance of surpassing them.
However, none of his older brothers have ever won the title of Warrior in the Triwizard Tournament. If he could win it, then he would finally have some sense of accomplishment in his studies.
Although the possibility is very small, what if it happens?
Unexpectedly, now even that "what if" doesn't exist, and I'm directly below the age limit.
However, a gloating smile appeared on his face:
"George and Fred are still four months shy of seventeen. If they knew about this, they'd be furious!"
Thinking about the expressions on his two older brothers' faces when they played pranks on him, Ron's mood instantly improved.
At 11 a.m., under the reluctant gazes of the wizarding parents, the train, fully loaded with seven-year-old wizards, slowly departed from Platform Nine and Three-Quarters and headed towards Hogwarts.
During this time, young wizards of all grades wandered around the carriages, trying to find Jerry's carriage, or to befriend him, chat with him, or get his autograph.
Upon discovering this situation, Jerry, in order to avoid any trouble, immediately cast a spell on his compartment, completely concealing it.
As time passed, the sky gradually darkened, dark clouds gathered, and thunder rumbled; clearly, a heavy rain was imminent.
By the time the train arrived at its final stop, the pitch-black Hogsmeade Station, the rain had already turned into a downpour.
"What awful weather!"
After stopping the car, Hermione hugged Crookshank and looked at the torrential rain outside, and couldn't help but complain to Jerry.
None of them had brought umbrellas, and they would inevitably get half-soaked on the way to find the carriage. Although they could use magic to dry themselves quickly inside the school, it would still be quite troublesome.
"Maybe the rain will stop when we get off the bus!"
Jerry looked out the car window at the storm and smiled.
Harry and Ron, meanwhile, shook their heads as they put on their school uniforms.
"That's absolutely impossible!"
Judging from the intensity of the rain outside, it will probably last at least one night.
"That's not necessarily true. Things are unpredictable, especially summer rain, which always comes and goes quickly."
A second before leaving the carriage, Jerry flicked a blue magical beam from his hand. The beam flew out of the carriage window and then quickly disappeared into the large patch of dark clouds in the sky.
In an instant, the entire dark cloud seemed to be affected by something special, and began to dissipate at a speed visible to the naked eye.
During this time, Jerry rarely devoted himself to studying magic, but he wasn't completely idle either.
The essence of magic is actually to explore the laws governing the operation of the world's forces and then use one's own power to imitate them to achieve similar effects.
Jerry has accumulated enough magical knowledge, so now he spends most of his time sensing some of the most fundamental laws of this world.
Just like the lightning and storms in the sky now, they are actually a tiny, insignificant part of the laws governing the universe.
Just now, he used some of his insights gained during this period to cleverly release some energy to manipulate the operation of the laws of heaven and earth in order to achieve his desired goal.
"It really has stopped!!!"
When Harry and his friends got off the train, they were surprised to find that the torrential rain outside had really stopped, and when they looked up at the sky, they could see a sky full of stars and the moon.
"You see, I told you anything is possible."
Jerry, carrying Crookshanks from Hermione, walked past the two who were standing there dumbfounded, and headed towards the carriages parked outside the station with Hermione.
Harry and Ron looked at each other somewhat bewildered:
"That's truly amazing!"
"Perhaps, after I have thoroughly understood all the laws of the world in the future, I will also be able to make my words become law."
After getting into the carriage with Hermione, Jerry looked at the starry sky and thought to himself.
In his view, true power lies in having sufficient control over the laws of the world. This way, you can change the laws and accomplish any of your ideas simply by speaking.
Just now, he said he would make the rain stop, and the rain really did stop.
Moreover, he is not only comprehending the laws of the world, but also filling his own ring world with these comprehended laws.
