Marvel's Hogwarts Wizard
Chapter 57 Greyburn Academy
Chapter 57 Greyburn Academy
One week later, on the morning.
Has was fixing his hair in the bathroom when Elsa, with her head down, tiptoed over.
"Dad, I just made a very, very small mistake. You won't be angry, will you?"
"Honey, what's wrong?"
Haas stopped applying hairspray, and for some reason, a sense of unease crept into his heart.
Elsa's eyes darted around as she whispered:
"Well, just now when I flew to your room on my magic broom, your Autobot suddenly attacked me, and then I shattered it with my magic counterattack!"
"What?! Autobots? Sweetie, you don't mean that Optimus Prime model I waited in line for three days to buy last year, do you?!"
Has quickly understood what his daughter meant, and his heart skipped a beat.
Elsa nodded slowly.
"No, it's nothing, it's just a model. We're going to the amusement park today, you...you should go change your clothes first!"
That Optimus Prime model was a limited edition, and now it's impossible to buy one even if you want to. But facing his daughter, Has couldn't bear to blame her, and could only secretly regret that he had forgotten to close the door when he left the room.
Seeing Haas's distressed expression, Elsa suddenly looked up and smiled:
"Dad, I was just kidding! Your Autobot is still perfectly fine on the table!"
Hearing Elsa's words, Has felt like he had returned from hell to heaven, and his mood improved instantly.
But before he could scold Elsa for being naughty...
Elsa then added:
"However, I accidentally broke your two lightsabers just now, and this is no joke!"
"Lightsaber? Ah, the lightsaber is fine. As long as Optimus Prime is alright, we can buy another lightsaber next time!"
Upon hearing that it was just the lightsaber that was broken, Hass suddenly realized that it wasn't a big deal. It wasn't a limited edition, and he could just spend more money to buy two more later.
Jerry, who was preparing his travel essentials in the living room, overheard the conversation between the father and daughter in the bathroom and chuckled to himself.
He discovered that his younger sister, who was usually silly, was always very clever when it mattered, especially when dealing with Hass, she was particularly good at it.
Elsa accidentally broke Haas's beloved lightsaber. Although Haas wouldn't scold her, he must have been in a bad mood.
Today was the day I had arranged to go to the amusement park with Teacher Belle. If Has was in a bad mood, then he wouldn't have had as much fun today.
But now, thanks to Elsa's antics, Hass is actually in a better mood than before.
Watching Elsa walk out of the bathroom with her head held high and looking smug, Jerry couldn't help but laugh and urge her on:
"Stop playing! Come inside and change your clothes, we're leaving soon!"
Around 9:30 in the morning,
Jerry and Elsa arrived at a famous large amusement park in Manhattan in Haas's police car.
Ms. Belle had already arrived at the amusement park entrance and bought the tickets.
Jerry wasn't really interested in going to the amusement park.
Elsa liked it, and Haas rarely had time to spend with her. In addition, Ms. Belle also wanted to use this opportunity to strengthen everyone's relationship, so he didn't object.
Compared to flying around on a magic broomstick and studying and practicing magical spells, the rides at the amusement park were hardly of any interest to him.
"Ah! Help! I can't take it anymore! I'm going to die! Let me down!"
Inside the roller coaster, listening to the screams all around, including from Has, Jerry silently wondered if Little Red Star would have made it to the bottom if he used magic to stop the entire roller coaster right now.
It's safe to assume that those people who are currently on the roller coaster, practically in tears, genuinely want to get off.
His act of stopping the roller coaster can be considered helping others, and he should probably receive a little red star in return.
However, it's not possible today. I can try it another day when I have time to come alone.
Roller coasters, drop towers, and haunted houses all seem to offer a chance to earn little red stars.
They played until after 2 p.m., having experienced almost all the rides in the amusement park, before the four of them left the park, hungry, and drove to the bustling Broadway area to find a place to eat.
"What the hell?! How does this guy drive?!"
On the busy street, a taxi narrowly cut in front of Has's car, making Has so angry that he almost cursed. If it weren't for the fact that Elsa and Jerry were in the car, he would have been fine.
A moment later, when Haas's car stopped at the traffic light, Jerry saw the taxi that liked to overtake through the window and slammed on the brakes to stop on the side of the road.
Then a man and a woman quickly opened the car door and rushed out.
After the man got out of the car, he started breathing heavily, seemingly trying to control his heartbeat, while the woman angrily cursed at the taxi driver.
Clearly, she was very dissatisfied with the taxi driver's dangerous driving.
"Jerry, Elsa, look over there! That's Greyburn Academy, my alma mater. I'll take you there for a look after we finish eating!"
At this moment, Ms. Belle, who was sitting in the passenger seat, pointed to a university on the side of the road ahead and turned to Jerry and Elsa with a smile, introducing it to them.
"Greybourne College is a top-tier university in New York, and Dad hopes you can get into one like it someday!"
At this point, Has, who was driving, chimed in with his own comment.
"No problem, Jerry and Elsa are so smart, they'll definitely get into even better universities in the future!"
Belle encouraged Jerry and Elsa.
Haas shook his head inwardly.
Jerry was no problem, in fact, he thought that with Jerry's intelligence, getting into MIT wouldn't be a problem at all. The main problem was his daughter, who had never passed math.
Let alone Greyburn College, whether they can even get into a third-rate university in the future is a question.
After finishing our meal, it was already four o'clock in the afternoon.
To help them digest their food and to let Jerry and Elsa see what college life is like, Haas and Bailey took the two of them to Greyburn College.
"Truly a top-tier university!"
Walking along the cobblestone paths of Greyburn College, Jerry looked at the beautiful scenery and the vibrant college students around him and couldn't help but sigh inwardly.
In his previous life, he attended a junior college, and it was a public junior college.
The advantage is that the tuition is very cheap, but the disadvantage is that the entire university area is smaller than a quarter of the area of the high school he attended in the county.
When he first entered university with his suitcase, he almost turned around and went back to repeat his senior year if it weren't for his family's financial situation.
It seems like he spent his university years in a lonely place in his past life, and maybe he can make up for it in this life.
