Chapter 613 Ghost Rider Robbie (First Update)

Inside a Los Angeles hospital ward, a patient named Joseph was screaming wildly, his face contorted as if he were witnessing something horrific.

Meanwhile, nearby doctors and nurses tried to press down on his limbs to prevent him from harming himself.

Just then, a ring of fire suddenly appeared in the room, and an unfamiliar man stepped out of it, startling the doctors and nurses present.

"Please everyone step outside for a moment!"

The man smiled and waved his hand, instantly enveloping the entire ward with a powerful spiritual force.

Instantly, all the doctors and nurses seemed to turn into puppets, obediently lining up to leave the ward, and the patient named Joseph also stopped his frantic self-harm.

The man walked up to Joseph, placed his hand on his head, and murmured after a few seconds:

"So that's where it was hidden!"

Then it disappeared from the spot.

This person was none other than Jerry, who came from S.H.I.E.L.D. headquarters.

Although he knew that the Dark Book existed in Los Angeles, he needed to obtain its exact location from the man named Joseph who ultimately hid it.

Joseph was just forced to reveal the location of the Dark Book by his ghostly wife, and in order to prevent others from finding out, he killed her.

After healing Joseph and finding the location where he hid the Dark Book from Joseph's memories, he immediately Apparated there.

"Looks like someone got here before me!"

In front of a very old-looking house on the outskirts of Los Angeles, Jerry appeared to see a flaming skull gripping a female ghost by the neck with one hand, roaring loudly:

"Tell me, tell me what really happened back then! Why did you hire gangsters to kill me and my brother?!"

"No, we don't want to kill you. We just want to kill your uncle Eli. He knows the secret of the Dark Book, he wants to get the book, he wants to become God, and we just want to stop him!"

That year, after years of searching, my husband Joseph and I finally found the legendary Dark Book in the basement of this old house.

By studying the knowledge of the Dark Book, we created a quantum energy machine capable of creating anything from nothing.

Upon hearing this, Jerry couldn't help but marvel at how science and magic were indeed essentially the same. The laws and principles involved in that quantum energy machine were actually the same as the Transfiguration Charm he had now modified.

But in reality, neither can be considered as creating something from nothing; it's just a conversion between energies. The quantum energy machine draws energy from the Earth, while Jerry uses the magic within his own body.

"But later, your uncle Eli found out about this. He wanted to obtain the Dark Book and wanted to permanently solidify the machine's power into his body, so that he could become a god who could create everything."

We hired the gang to kill him in order to protect ourselves, but we never expected that we would end up killing you and your brother by mistake.

Later, Eli used a machine to transform all of us who participated in the research and development into the grotesque beings we are now, and he also turned Joseph into a vegetable, all in order to force us to reveal the whereabouts of the Dark Book.

"I just want to use the Dark Tome to turn back into my original form, please let me go!"

Looking at the pleading female ghost in his hands, the flaming skeleton showed no mercy. Its body emitted powerful hellfire, instantly burning the female ghost to ashes.

"You are guilty and unforgivable!"

After burning the female ghost, the skull turned to look at Jerry, who had been standing there watching the show since it appeared:

"Whoever you are, I advise you not to interfere!"

After saying that, he walked towards his 1969 retro Dodge muscle car.

However, Jerry used Apparition to block his path between him and the car:

"Ghost Rider, leave that book in your hand, and I won't interfere in your affairs."

Yes, when Jerry saw the flaming skull and the vintage Dodge next to it, he already knew that the guy in front of him was Robbie Reyes, the fourth Ghost Rider.

When Robbie heard Jerry ask for the Dark Tome in his possession, he reached out and pulled out his chains, which were wreathed in hellfire.
